I don't think Neowitz understands the Western Market. Saying "Still Stay True to Fantasy Worlds" is the most stupid thing to say, especially when the cash shop is filled with the most immersion breaking stuff one could find. This game is on par with Tera with the stupid stuff.

Okay, don't blame them for having read Lewis Carroll. Probably not enough westerners have read it. But, it's pretty much a book that is/was the definition of western fantasy, at least through the 1960s. There was definitely a rabbit.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
So, I had written off Bless as "just another asian mmo" and not worth my time.
But, I keep seeing threads pop up about it, people seem to be excited so I thought I'd actually delve in a little deeper.
I shouldn't have bothered.
Searched for "bless online gameplay" and the very first video I watched starts off focused on some breasts jiggling. The two reviewers then went through character creator and set about doing some quests.....dressed in mini-skirts, stockings and high heels. Then I watched some other videos and they're all roughly the same.
The game looks like shit. I mean, graphically sure, good rendering skills. But artistically, uggh, nope, it is just another asian mmo. Completely unrelatable characters, it looks like a game designed for 14 year old boys so they can jack off without having to turn off the game and look at real porn.

So balanced, immersive games are now too much to ask for? Fuck that right off.
Im gonna say some controversial here, but yes. Unless you put your own personal money into developing a game and im not talking ea access or the game itself, then i would argue that you in fact dont get a say unless they specifically ask for it. And even then, the way you present it will determine if you are worth listening to or just another needy gamer who thinks everything should be catered to them.
I think making suggestions is fine, but dont be so naive to think a game that is made by someone elses pocket book- that you have any right at all to say what does or doesnt go into it. If it fails: its on them and their decision making. You have the right to not buy it.

Where have you been the last.. oh 40 some odd years.. Sex has always Sold Games. In fact, if you look at old RPG game posters, they are damn near soft core porn.. and.. really weird porn at that.
Sex Sells. Just the way of things.
Personally, I would rather they add some beefcake in to counter all the bouncing boobs, so that at least they objectify both genders fairly.
Egotism is the anesthetic that dullens the pain of stupidity, this is why when I try to beat my head against the stupidity of other people, I only hurt myself.

Actually, the vast majority of games are made by someone else's pocket book. Most of the time, they're called "Investors" (or in some cases that usually end up badly because they lack the same rules, regulations, experience, and foundations, "Backers"). A good chunk of a game's continued funding for games that are updated constantly (such as MMORPGs) also comes from something called "customers". And in many cases, money from the pocket books of customers also goes to funding future games.
If these customers exercise their right to not buy it, especially for a game that needs continued funding to stay online such as Bless, it generally means the death of the game due to not having enough money (the investors too will stop giving money and start pulling out their own money once they start noticing this is the case)
Obviously, that rabbit suit in the middle is high end raiding gear. I'm down with that.
I just hope they focus on understanding their NA audience and make the appropriate changes. Paying to NOT PvP doesn't feel right. Especially if it's the rumored 10 minute per dose thing we're seeing discussion. (hell, 4 hours is a little light) A manual flagging option is still the best choice. I've read that the devs would like us to try their PvP out since they've put so much effort into it. I'm cool with that as long as I get to choose when to do that. An expiring PvE pill is going to add stress to me to keep watching my buff tray (or however it would show up) to make sure I get that choice. And I'm far less likely to do that than to just uninstall the game.
I agree, 10 minutes is not going to be worth it to those who want to take advantage of this "feature".
I’m not sure people understand the purpose of this pill. It is not supposed to be used 24/7 to keep yourself permanently safe from pvp. Keep in mind it’s faction pvp not FFA which makes a big difference. If your struggling finishing a quest due to pvp or there’s higher numbers of the opposing faction and you can’t get enough help then use the pills. They are not meant to avoid pvp all the time, just for situational uses hence the 10m duration.
I am not saying PvP gameplay is in question, I don't know enough about it to comment. But the idea of taking a pill to avoid PvP is a bit surreal.

Lol, yeh, sex sells and I'm used to seeing it on artwork and trailers.
But not actually in games. Like, Lara Croft is obviously sexualised in the trailers, but in game itself she's not running around in high heels, she's in (mostly) appropriate adventuring gear. You don't see lord of the rings characters fighting orcs in bikinis.
yet, for some reason that passes the sanity test in asia. The Bless developers are trying to claim that they've put in tons of effort ensuring that the world they've made is really immersive and lore appropriate, but that's immediately blown to pieces when you see some young girl in high heels battling a monster.

Backers are prolly the exception to my point, depending on how the campaign is worded. But investors essentially give their money to the dev team, thus becoming part owners. So yeah, investors and the ppl they hire(the dev team) have the right to influence the decisions.
They could ask for our input and i imagine most do, but that isnt our place to think we have any control.
We the customers are still important, but our money isnt for the development of a game, its for a product (thus not part ownership). They could decide to keep the money and not develop or update.
But since it becomes their money , the said owners can use it as they see fit, but it is their money at that time, not ours anymore.
I know its way over my head, and goes a lot deeper than that, but i think my point of view is at least more clear. We aren’t entitled to be back seat game developers. You certainly can try, but dont get all butthurt when they ignore you. Ultimately they have the final say and while your opinion is prolly wanted, its still most likely to represent a small % of players like you when their are other types of players whose opinion is just as valid but ultimately just an opinion.
So is it too much to ask for? What gives us the right to ask? I Say money does. But not when im already getting a product for money, i mean money that is simply for development and not a product. (Kickstarter or investor type money)

Uhh...
Dude.. EQ, Dark Elf.. the Female Armor was basically lingerie.
I wish I could say this is a new thing in the east or the west, but it's been around as long as visual games.

I just want to add never judge a book by its cover just because my male warrior is wearing a top hat and a skin tight leather jump suit with ass less chaps doesnt mean i can't slay a dragon. Its 2018 people!

The outfits look terribly lore breaking, I assume the game does have some sort of lore?
But I think we can all make an exception for the bunny girl outfit, a long standing tradition in fantasy literature and games. (ahem)

Star Trek aliens (human shaped with messed up faces) don't really impress.
