It was the same AFTER the first major rework - aka 2nd iteration
The original Bless version never made it out of Korea.
You are defeating your own point. The reason it never made it out was because it was in Beta! Almost any game that gets a lot of negative feedback in beta tries to fix things. But, nobody considers that as a launch then rework. Only someone like you who is trying to be overly negative about a title.
Don't try to argue with Kano and alike. They bash games which they say are fail , but at the same time, they support games which are barely surviving and are massive P2W ( ArcheAge , Kano? )
On top of that, we have negative comments coming from the ones supporting Crowfall , Pantheon , Shrouds , etc .
At least with Bless, we have a B2P game ( Yes! We have a game KS supporters ) , with more then decent content , and , at least at launch and for months after ( I am hoping years ), there will be no P2W items in the cash shop.
So yeah!
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy? Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!
Bless is going to be yet another generic Asian MMORPG, designed with poorer combat than recently released games, like Black Desert. It's like WoW if they tried to implement some sort of action combat system.. that's it.
There is no reason anyone should be excited about it.
TY what you just described is just what I want in an mmo so TY for giving me a reason to check it out Keep up the good work promoting mmo's
The fact that to unflag from pvp I have to buy an item from the cash shop means I will be skipping this title.
I'm 100% against forced pvp.
Luckily not every is afraid of pvp like you, ima enjoy it, if someone kills me, I wont rage, ima just rez and get my revenge or go on about my mmo life. But yeah pvp is not for everyone
The only actual reason to check out Bless is that it will now be available in the Western market.
It has zero unique features and just serves as a generic MMO platform to drive microtransactions which is why it has failed over and over for 4 years.
The only reason Asian games focus on pvp is to slide in slot machine crafting systems where it is theoretically possible to spend an infinite amount of real world money yet never reach the stats cap.
The way this works in Bless seems to be RNG passive bonuses on pets and the typical casino RNG +99 gear upgrades which are systems that are absolutely toxic to balanced PvP.
I agree with the Pet System, the fact that it is about re-rolling their skills to get the passives you want is toxic gameplay.
The gear system actually wasn't broke by upgrades in the past. The upgrades used to only provide marginal increases in strength. The problem is actually with the new Rune system they implemented in JPN. It seems they kept Ability scaling off of Atk Power & Ability Power, as it was pre-rebuild.
However, they changed the way runes worked. It used to be that you could only equip Power runes on certain pieces of gear. However, now you can have as many power runes as you want. What happens is damage starts to ramp up at a crazy pace. But then it gets even worse. Once you Awaken an item through upgrades, you get 2 rune slots on the gear. Which means you can get even more Power. So damage is completely out of control.
PvP before optimized runes has a really healthy Time to Kill, afterwards it is terrible. Though, since this is a new system and they have received a lot of feedback on it, I am hopeful that it will be fixed for the Western release.
Balanced PvP isn't fun outside of an e-sports game though imo.
That's the thing, we are three weeks till may, and still don't have any info on what the steam version will be. So we are all speculating at this point.
The gear system in Japan is 100% pay to win. Here is how it works :
For upgrading gear from +1 to +5 it is 100% success rate, with a special item that is needed in bigger quantity everytime you make an upgrade.
For upgrading gear from +6 to +10 it is a 45% chance with the item previously mentioned and chance can be increased to approximately 65% if you use another rarer item.
For upgrading gear from +11 to +15 the chance is super low, and everytime you try an upgrade comes the risk of a degrade.
By reaching the highest upgrade (+15), you have approximately 15% chance of creating a second rune slot maybe good for your class. If not, you'll have to start the whole enhancement process again only if you want the best of the best. There is also a way to transfer your current enchant to another gear piece of a certain rarity, and all of this requiring several rare components.
The P2W comes from dismantling most outfits that can be bought in the Cash Shop in order to create an item that prevents any degrade above 11+. This item is not only available for real currency but also in-game with PvE or PvP currency but it takes the form of an RNG box.
Having a higher enchant level does not give a lot more power BUT having a second rune useful for your class clearly is the real P2W issue about BLESS.
But again we still don't have any info on the steam version.
Well a publisher had ZERO input on the game design and now all of a sudden a publisher is going to operate the game...lmao.So when you call support you get some cue card reading person who also knows nothing of the game.
So long story short, the publisher is only there for the $$$ not the game, they will push as bad a cash shop as they feel they can get away with and if complaints, they come back with "oh we are sorry,we listened to you the gamer and will change it".
I think seeing this trend the last few years of KR devs admitting their game was geared towards the KR community and want to try and change it to the western front just confirms why al ltheir games look and play the same.
You can't take an entire game design and change it,who the heck are they trying to fool, this is just lame PR talk,it will be a KR game through and through and the cash shop will be typical.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Wow.. don't listen to people criticising you for posting a video link on a forum.
This video is something I would want to watch and I wouldn't have known about it if you hadn't posted here. I couldn't care less whether it's an advert for your channel or whatever, that's the nature of all the free information we get from YouTubers and is the incentive for it's creation in the first place.
People that wanted something to read, for whatever reason, can just skip this forum post. What's the big deal?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
So... It will be nearly the same. The game died in almost every region so what do you think... Full zero end game content, boring and nothing special. Hit the max level is cool and fun but thats it few days. = We have a bad game what is failed everywhere? No problem make it b2p and sell it to the stupid europeans we can sell all garbage in there. Get money as much as possible and thats it dont care after that.
At least with Bless, we have a B2P game ( Yes! We have a game KS supporters ) , with more then decent content , and , at least at launch and for months after ( I am hoping years ), there will be no P2W items in the cash shop.
So yeah!
Bless is B2P with F2P cash shop.
This is better how?
There will be no P2W items in the cash shop ... lol, what Neowiz game has no "p2w" items in the cash shop?
Have you seen Japanese cash shop for Bless? .. ehm, yeah
You can't go off what the version is like in Japan because the version coming to NA/EU is going to be different.
We don't know what these differences are exactly but they have said that the game will not be P2W.
So not sure why you keep making posts from what previous versions have because no one knows what this version has and doesn't have.
I'm waiting and not buying anything early access just so i can figure out what's changed and how the game is.
I think it's awful to not even have System Requirements listed, but ask people to pay for Early Access... What if it runs like ass on my system? I only buy new games that I know friends will play with me, and I'm not really into paid beta tests to "find out."
The game should be close to finish now. We should at least know what the hardware breakpoints they're developing for are.
Also, it seems to have a small set of classes, and fairly generic ones to boot... Ugh. No pet class?

I think there will be warlock class in the future.

Yeah I have noticed that from skimming comments on articles lol.
People can't just be objective about each game, they have to champion for their own and trash others.

You are completely correct about this, now THIS is one of Bless's biggest problems. It is the upgrading system and how it was integrated to the cash shop on JPN, as well as the problems Runes and double slot Runes bring to the game.
This is why I was happy they made the first step to go B2P, because imo they wouldn't go B2P and keep all that in. If they do Bless will be 100% DoA, and I as well as others have given them that feedback. We shall see how they handle it.
I think it's awful to not even have System Requirements listed, but ask people to pay for Early Access... What if it runs like ass on my system? I only buy new games that I know friends will play with me, and I'm not really into paid beta tests to "find out."

I am not sure what the system requirements are but this video might help.
I have just found this but it's for the japan version so not sure if it will be the same.
Yet you will, and always do..17,000 posts and climbing LOL
No need to act that way, his point still stands. Once the game releases, the fans will be playing it. Whichever way it goes does not matter in the end. The game will fail or succeed (miraculously) for the third round, whether it's a cash grab or not.
Don't try to argue with Kano and alike. They bash games which they say are fail , but at the same time, they support games which are barely surviving and are massive P2W ( ArcheAge , Kano? )

Well I have no allegiances except to MMOs I used to play and Bless does not get a green light from me. But what does that matter? If this game fits what you want to play then run with it.
The fact its been rehashed and relaunched is not an issue, I think we are going to find that becomes more of a norm for MMOs. The important thing is not to commit yourself to a position about a game because you bought it, but the fact it is B2P is a big plus.
How many "failed Korean MMO goes West"s are you guys gonna get hyped about?
You mean, same as West MMO's which are failing hard?
I find Korean MMO's doing a lot better then West MMO's.
At least Korean's make MMO's with their own money. Here we have whales supporting fail West MMo's over and over again.
I will take Korean MMOs over West , every day.

People keep assuming I havent played the relaunched version... sigh
People keep assuming that Steam is a vastly different version... /smh
But it doesnt matter - as soon enough the truth will be revealed when Steam launches so lets see who was right.
No need to say more
Wheres the proof man lets see that video because i will bet my life savings you don't have proof because there is none you are just trying to get a reaction out of ppl and to that i say bravo the sheeps of the humanity never fail to amuse
You either like the combat or you hate the combat in BDO, but dont say It's like WoW, there are crap load of fun PVE stuff you can do in BDO that hardly any other MMO have, sounds like you never played BDO, and if you did I bet you didn't even get to lvl 15.
Gonna assume you meant to quote the person who responded to me..

LOL? The video is made up of my own gameplay mixed with some JP player's gameplay as well. That is the most recent version of the game we have as well. The rest of the information is from the mouth of the developers in interviews.

What does the rest of the game have to do with the combat, which I was explicitly comparing?
Next you'll tell me that Dark Souls is bad because you can't fly in it.
What? What are you saying now? Seriously? Have you played the Steam Version?
Or you're just misleading people here?
Seriously how low can you go before people starting to realize what you're really doing here... Disgusting...
