Sea of Thieves News - The latest Sea of Thieves developer blog has been published on the official site to let players know that the team is closely monitoring "talking points" that are cropping up frequently in community discussions. Executive Producer Joe Neate has identified several and reveals both short- and long-term solutions the team is pursuing. Unsurprisingly, many of the hottest topics revolve around griefing.

It is like walking down the street, someone runs by and steals your wallet or purse and says FULL LOOT,cya.
How about making games that bring players together to do PVE content, that is where you create a better CHANCE of good times.
When i keep seeing talk about pvp games and how they are creating a toxic environment,i just think some people are clued right out of this world with no clue.Just look at sports, players pitted to defeat each other, fights break out, words are often exchanged, they don't run around crying foul, they KNOW what they are getting into, the only thing that remains is all entities try to abide by the law and that is all that matters, dainty egos do not matter.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Newsflash folks: about a quarter of your total testing time should likely be spent SOLELY on identifying exploits or griefing potential within your game if you plan on focusing on multiplayer competition. If you don't find them, the playerbase will, and they will make you pay for it dearly in PR.
Oh yeah, some decent customer support would be great too.

A little bit of griefing can be fun in the right place at the right time with the right people. But that type of good natured ribbing is rare and you usually have asshats taking things way too far. Schadenfreude has become extremely popular in recent years, especially online.

Things like that are awesome, and can only occur when players are given freedom to do so, but that is a trap for developers because, inevitably, a section of gamers will take it too far and end up causing issues rather than enrichment.

In "Pro" sporting events these things happen but there are REAL consequences that often follow. Consequences can include everything from calling foul and penalizing the offending team to fines and in rare cases suspensions or even arrest by law enforcement. The problem in games such as SoT is that there are no consequences and people feel that they are open to do anything and get away with it. There have to be limits if for nothing else but the good of the game itself.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
Is that PC only? I heard Xbox membership subs received SoT for a 14 day trial. Do they count as "sales"?
I don't think this is accurate, just a feeling.
Read the article. If you don't think its accurate then ask them.
You tube streamers? Is that the authority on a good game or a complete game? Not in my book. I could care less what someone who streams on you tube says about anything lol.
