Let me tell you my side of this... I am 40 years old (forty years young that is) and I have been gaming ever since Atari brought pong to the TV, ever since I have been a gamer and I even get together with some friends (from ages 20 to 50) after work to go play some Battlefield 2, Half Life 2 and even WoW and EQ2. Infact a lot of my friends are highly anticipating LotRO and DDO. Some of them can't wait for AOE3 or some still waiting for STALKER to come out. Most of them are over 30 and I even have a Step father that is 74 years old and he loves to play MoHAA and BiA, however he only plays SP. I think his hand-eye coordination is a bit too slow to get into the online stuff, LOL. THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN LIKE IT everyone has to have it though so u can be a part of and know what everyone is talking about and its what we talk about amongst ourselves at lunch and at break at school so now you know OK, um I think you are sort of getting off track here, but that is ok. I tend to see your point of view, I was a kid once to. cause we are all easily persuaded by good graphics and easy gameplay Hehehe, and we aren't? Who spends the money on the 200 to 500 video cards? do you have the cash to fork out on that? Anyway, eventhough we have "been there, done that" Still we love games like anyone else. However, I get the feeling you somehow see older people as so different animal than you. I've read your previous thread and don't know why you bring this up again unless you are either wanting some one to give you more insight or attention. Show me some graphs that prove you are correct. I make over $750.00 a week and I think maybe the most teens under 18 can typically make about 150 a week and that is during the summer. That may get you a few games, but do you think you can also upgrade your computer to top notch every six months as the industry demands it? However, sorry to burst your bubble, but you are not the targeted populous for gaming. The genral target for PC games, including MMO's are listed for Teen 17+. You are 13 and you typically can't purchase half of the games out there including games like SoF and many other games that are violent. This also includes games that have sexual tendencies which attract all, especially little young teens that are very curious with all the stuff that the older people do. However if you think that triple X equals adult game then you are being mislead by the crap you learn in the media. It is too bad that the younger generation thinks that sex and death equals adulthood. we are kids Yes, we all are at heart. But do you think once you grow up and be mature that it means that fun is no longer an option? Or as adults we are to only to go to go out and drink, drive and screw our spouses over? Maybe the problem here is that you probably watch too much television and have a very narrow view on adulthood or you have some VERY BORING PARENTS! Infact my 16 yr old son is sitting here rolling his eyes and telling me to just let you think what you want and forget about it. Well, anyway... I better go, got to go login WoW and help my son do the Blackfang quest. Nothing better than going on an adventure with your own son. Heck, sometimes it is funnier to do that than go up to the pine forests and go hiking and camping. Atleast here we can order a pizza and hot wings and game on a friday night and not worry about getting hit by some stupid drunk while we are on our way back from the movies and out to eat. Well nuff siad. I hope some day you will see it doesn't matter how old you are and realize you can have fun with anyone as long as they share the same goals as you when you are out adventuring.....
