yes right but i like play this game a lot i like it and i think that this is the largest online game

Yes I agree. WOW is for Kids. It is very simple and too easy to level. If you like repitition and lack of content and consider that inovation, please buy the game and pay your monthly fees.  The navigational system in this game is equivalent to game si played 13 years ago. That is the type of inovation you get from Blizzard. if you want a semi decent navigational system you have to use add on software, "Blizzard is a Joke".

maybe this noob needs to learn about battlegrounds and high lvl instances. you act like your the top player because you got 2 lvl 60's. try playing horde side for a change and find out why alliances suck and why alliances level faster.

Please point to me a game that is more worthy of my time that isn't filled with bugs, inbalance, or a great deal of boredom.  (I'm not saying WoW doesn't have a little of each either)

So very well said, Zethcarn. More's the point, to the O.P., why troll that here? You think you're gonna change anyones mind? How someone who would do that has 245 posts on this site without getting banned is beyond me. image

This whole thread has turned into a big WoW fanboy rant. WoW sucks, get over it.WoW has introduced nothing new to the MMO community (besides a seemingly infinite mass of 12-year old fanboys). The only claim-to-fame WoW has is that it smoothes out some issues known to plague other MMO's. Just because you like it and play it doesn't make it suck any less. Your limited childish perceptions of what a "good" MMO is can't be that great considering you started playing it in the first place! Yeah, that's right, I'm calling you out, stupid WoW fanboys!

For someone who is complaining about childish 12 year old fanboys, your post isn't entirely that much more mature. There are no more childish kids in WoW than there are in any other mmo, infact I just recently resubscribed to SWG and I found more childish people there than on my WoW server.  Now as for the game itself, nobody said that WoW had to introduce new things to the mmo community, because Blizzard uses the ideas from other mmos and tries to fix where they went wrong by adding their Blizz touch, which is what makes the game enjoyable to many. I am not a WoW fanboy, infact I don't even think the game is the best mmo ever, but tell me what mmorpg that's out is better right now? I don't even know why I bother reading forums anymore, because they are always filled with constant crap. All in all everything will always be opinionated, but tell me what mmorpg out now is better than WoW, and why does WoW continue to have the largest subscription base?

Actually I have run into MORE childish people in WoW than any mmo/fps that I have EVER played.

I guess I am the worst player ever then.

I have been playing WOW since it's release and still only have a lvl 49 Warlock. I guess I suck cause I didn't beat the game. I am not at 60 which means that I can't complain about no content. It's too bad cause I really wanted to get into the complaining instance. Instead of complaining that there were not enough pre made quests that kind of defeat the purpose of MMO's, I wasted my time having my own quests and my own player made content. I used this thing called a guild and made a complete background story and even gave the guild a mission and a reason for being.

    Man what a waste

Realistically, WoW is the only MMO out right now that is fantasy based and has open PvP. This game is smooth and runs well and is open enough for players to do some great things. I personaly don't want to do all the Missions that Blizzard made for me to do. I like to make up my own content. This is all that WoW needs. It definitely doesn't need anymore no content complainers.

    Peace

This is by no means meant as a dig, but to be level 49 after eight months you must have hardly played at all and/or actively avoided fighting mobs.

Just out of interest, would you mind giving us some examples of the player-made goals and content you created? I'm intrigued.

I don't take it as a dig, I really don't care what others think about me, especially online people.

As far as player content, We have worked with horde guilds and created some very intrigueing story lines. We have held competitions such as fishing and fastest kill. We have worked in a few small guild story archs that eventually are going to lead to some good stuff. We had a diving competition on the rocks at STV. We carefully maintain peace and justice in our land. We have used our warlocks and mages to provide a Warp and Port service to hard to get to locations.

See the problem with WoW is that it holds your hand all the way till 60. But it doesn't out right show  you what you can make possible on your own. That is left up to the individual player to imagine and make it real.

It really is the little things that make an online world feel real. If you spend all of your time lvling to get to 60 than you missed the point of a online world. It's the interactions and the unique things you do that change the world completely.

Pathetic. No matter what you do in wow you cannot "change" the world in any way. You are playing in blizzards sandbox themepark and that will never change.

I agree WOW does suck. Its a childs game.

Want Hardcore? Want a challenge... play Lineage2. You get to 75 on there and you can say you did something in a game.

Anyway, bottom line is:  Don't come in bashing wow for no reason.  Everyone knows it is relatively easy to level, we don't need to hear it a billion times.

I agree, there is really no point in trashing a game.

ok... (silly rabbit WoW is for kids)?

Im 12 and I seem to be more mature than you...And I seriously doubt you got to level 60 mage in 15 days... unless you payed a power leveling service.

And also most of the hard core gamers out there are under 18... Not everyone like you who has a wife and kids and also a job has the time to power level to level 60 in 15 days... People have lives... and want to give attention to their family.

If you don't like the game then you don't. I am no world of warcraft fanboy, I used to play it but im not a roleplaying kinda guy, its a great game if you are a casual gamer and like roleplaying.

So please stop wasting our time and stop making extremely stupid inmature statements on the fourms and go spend some time with your family...

I dont have much time just want to clear something up for you all real quick for those who do not know. It did not take him 15 days from when he started the character to get from 1 to 60... It took him an entire 15 days of his life... Although this is a fast level to 60 it is not impossible, but it was very easy since he had leveled a previos mage from 1 to 60 in 21 days... On WoW there is a /played command that tells you how long you have spent logged on a character for its current level and lifetime. Talk to you guys later interesting posts...  thankyou.

Well...some questions are better left unanswered. image

1 of the best guy I meet in my experiences in EQ have 3 rangers level 60 prior PoP...I mean, come on...3 rangers level 60 on the same server (told me he was playing on another server as well).

The day halflings where able to become rangers, he start 1, and if he was not the first level 60 halfling ranger on our Luclin server, he still did quite fine and make it to 60 with the halfling as well.

And that guy was helpful, nice, kind, skilled, efficient (well after that many rangers)...and most importantly, we can do rangers jokes and he was laughing!  He never join guilds, and it is 1 of the person I am missing from my EQ experience...when I join uberguild02 he simply nod gently...he know before I even join them I would not bear that...and when I left he was there for grouping...althought an evil part of me was telling me...wow, such lame stats on that many rangers...but the guy was always someone I was happy to group with. Often when folks see me in PoN way after I was refusing any non-PoTactics+ groups, well, I was often with that person...a complete stranger...well, not so stranger after 3 60ish rangers...

I cant help but find it even worser that a game like EQ would stick such a person with lame rangers without real stats, because he dont raid...come on, that guy was the best ranger you could even dream of grouping, he know perfectly well what he was doing...but no...he has less HPS then a paper chanter...damn, EQ...wake up!

This is a really pointless argument. We arnt really going to change each others minds. There have only been about 30 other threads like this because people like to spam and create the same thread once a week.People dont bother to read the FAQ and the rules of these fourms. If you dont bother reading the rules why dont we just go up in a tree and fling crap at each other in the nude.

But that aside I play Wow and I enjoy myself. The key to not getting bored in this game is getting in a good guild.I am in a small but very close guild of 17 level 40-60's.I can find a guy to quest with me or to hnt with me no problem.I dont notice any inmaturity except in the general chat every once in a while. But if you just talk to your fellow guildies and just block out everybody else. Also its not hard to get a group if none of your friends are on.Simply type /who and find people your level and whisp anybody and everybody to hunt with you stright down the list then simply wait for responses and invite anybody who says yes.You are bound to get atleast two people.Or if you cant find anybody to help you with a quest.SImply say "Hey I will help you with this quest if you help me with this one" just go up to every person you see and say that. Now running back in fort from quests to quest gets a little old but once you reach level 40 it speeds things up due to mount. And when I run into to WC in the barrens every once awhile for a little solo fun I see like a level 35 trying to level in there.Hunt a place that is a challengeing.

I see people constaly comparing this game to EQ2 tsk tsk. They are both fantastic games.I switch between both like every 3 or 5 months.Sure they have there pro's and cons but both are very VERY playably.I really dont see why anybody complain about either game. One of the reasons World of Warcraft has more people is because EQ2 is a demanding game and some people really cant get a 7800GTX and still not play the game maxed out.Now EQ2 leans more towards the hardcore MMORPG'er and Wow leans more towards the casual player. And what im guessing is people play Wow constanly and get bored with it really fast because they just get sick of seeing the game on there desktop. It's happend to me 2 or 3 times where I dont play for 3 weeks and go to EQ2 infact 3 times exactly. Then we have people complain about the graphics in Wow time over time if you dont like it dont play it even though you shouldnt judge the game only by its graphics. But the moral here is to find a game you like and play and not write some thread about it on some online gaming fourm wasting my precious so precious time.
