Wait, how late is Episode 2?  It's been so long since i helped fund SotA, I've forgotten when the later episodes were supposed to release.

Episodes were supposed to release each year after launch which was supposed to be Oct 2014.  So the original ETA for Episode 2 would have been Oct 2015

And why is it again that I don't want to crowdfund any more MMO's?  Having trouble remembering.

key was suppose to.  In recent updates it was stated that it got delayed until certain back end tech was ready as well Unity's expand of the engine to allow for larger zones.  Those are both done which is why they slated ep2 this year.  The first two zones are coming relatively soon which is the intro story to the new lands.   As of Last months Patch R65 they added new NPC stories in Noreach which point out something is happening to the North.

The book is coming out and yes it was delayed a few times.  The story was completed a while back when they sent it to a publisher, however the sample was changed and all the pictures were put in the middle rather then at each chapter.  The costs were also too high with the publisher per copy.  They now have a new publisher as well reworked the final draft and its already been to the editor.  So the Books should be coming as of last Fridays Announcement.

Gotta love the supporters making excuses for Ep. 2 being 3.5 years late.  They should check into Star Citizen and Camelot Unchained for something to place their faith in once SotA stops producing new content.

I personally felt like I got a pretty good return on funding Planet Explorers and My Time at Portia, but I also feel I got rather lucky on that studio/team.

People like that just like to make up their own truths. Just like the lie that is being spread on the forums that the only people who didn't receive their physical items was because they never updated their address. Another lie someone start and then rest of them continue to spread.

They needed to confirm the address.  There was on the account page that Address needed to be confirmed before they would ship because of the number of returns on the first wave of deliveries.   the other issue was that if you lived outside the US you are required to purchase a shipping voucher to pay for the shipping costs.   So two items needed to be dealt with before the box shipped. 

My whole guild got all theirs and I got mine took a while though because it shipped out of France and I live in Canada lol.   I think it took almost 2 months over snail mail.

If you look at everyone's post on the thread you will see that everyone did confirm their address and paid for international shipping. Glad you speak for everyone who didn't get their boxes. You're right, it's always the customer's fault.

Not in the MMORPG space, at least in terms of a finished game.
