Legends of the Hall of Records and the Sleeping Prophet
The concept of an ancient, possibly “Atlantean” Hall of Records
serving as a repository of occult knowledge, was first popularized by
the famous American psychic and clairvoyant Edgar Cayce in the 1930s. In
several of his readings, the “Sleeping Prophet” (as he became known),
spoke of the deliberate burial of the records of Atlantean civilization
at three locations on the planet: one on Atlantis (Poseidonis), another
one in Egypt, and a third one in Yucatan or Central America. Although
the story of the burial of the records is somehow confused, Cayce seems
to refer to the destruction of the original Mesoamerican “Temple of
Records”, and to the removal of the records to some other location.
Authors John Van Auken and Lora Little further popularized the idea of
an ancient “Hall of Records” in the Yucatan, basing their research on a
literal interpretation of Cayce’s readings. The result of this research
was a book published in 2000 and a TV documentary released a few years
later, in which the two authors claimed the ancient site of Piedras
Negras as the most likely location of Cayce’s Hall of Records. Piedras
Negras is located a mere 35 kilometers (21 miles) downstream along the
Usumacinta River from Yaxchilan, and is a much less studied and
excavated site.
The story of the “Hall of Records” begins with Atlantis. Near the end
of the days of the Atlanteans, the readings explain: “… there came the
first egress of peoples to the Pyrenees and into what later became the
Egyptian dynasties.” Images from these areas seem to represent the
disaster:
“The first of the eruptions that awoke from the depth of the slow
cooling earth, and that portion now near what would be termed the
Sargasso Sea first went into the depths. With this there again came that
egress of peoples that aided, or attempted to assume control, yet
carrying with them all those forms of Amilius that he gained through
that as for signs, for seasons, for days, for years. Hence we find in
those various portions of the world even in the present day, some form
of that as was presented by those peoples in that great development in
this, the eden of the world [this reading is referring to astronomy and
thereby associated with the development of the calendar]…that as for
signs, for seasons, for days, for years.” (Edgar Cayce Readings 364-4)
What these people carried were records of the movement of stars and constellations. (Edgar Cayce Readings 364-4)
The readings tell us where they settled:
“In those periods when the first change had come in the position of
the land, there had been an egress of peoples from the Atlantean land
and they built a city near the edge of the Sahara.” (Edgar Cayce
Readings 5748-6)
We also learn about the first pyramids built in Egypt. We discovered
the reading of Miss [993] (in the Cayce readings, individual’s names are
represented by numbers to protect their privacy), who had a past
lifetime in Egypt during the period of the Great Pyramid’s construction
and Ra-Ta was the priest (circa 10,500 BC, according to Cayce). The
readings go on to describe two lifetimes before that one in the land of
Og and another one in Egypt earlier when the first pyramid was built
there. This proves that there were pyramids in Egypt before the Great
Pyramid was built!
The readings tell us that this same country had been submerged for
nearly a quarter of a million years since civilization had been in this
portion of the country. (341-9)
When Ra-Ta and his people arrived in Egypt, they conducted
archaeological research. (5748-6) They began to build upon those mounds
that were discovered through research. With the storehouse or record
house (where the records are still to be uncovered) there is a chamber
or passage from the right forepaw to this entrance of the record chamber
or record tomb. (5748-6)
The readings explain that “the monuments were unearthed and added to
from time to time…many were buried beneath shifting sands.” (341-9)
“The one in the Atlantean land, that sank, which will rise and is
rising again; another in the place of the records that leadeth from the
Sphinx to the hall of records, in the Egyptian land; and another in the
Aryan or Yucatan land, where the temple there is overshadowing same.”
(2012-1)
“For the entity's tomb then was a part of the Hall of Records, which
has not yet been uncovered. It lies between—or along that entrance from
the Sphinx to the temple—or the pyramid; in a pyramid, of course, of its
own.” (2329-3)
“Hence we find the entity…was the first to set the records that are
yet to be discovered…and for the preservation of the data, that as yet
to be found from the chambers of the way between the sphinx and the
pyramid of records.” (1486-1)

It was a major claim, and it did not go unchallenged. The story
centred around Janos “Juan” Moricz, an aristocratic
Argentinian-Hungarian entrepreneur who claimed that he had discovered a
series of tunnels in Ecuador that contained a “Metal Library”. In a
signed affidavit dated 8 July 1969, he spoke about his meeting with the
Ecuadorian president, where he received a concession that allowed him
total control over this discovery—provided he could produce photographic
evidence and an independent witness that corroborated the discovery of
the underground network. Newspapers reported on the expedition that
Moricz had organised.
In 1972, Moricz met with von Däniken and took him to a secret
side-entrance through which they could enter into a large hall within
the labyrinth. Apparently von Däniken never got to see the library
itself, just the tunnel system. Von Däniken included the event in his
book The Gold of the Gods:
“The passages all form perfect right angles. Sometimes they are
narrow, sometimes wide. The walls are smooth and often seem to be
polished. The ceilings are flat and at times look as if they were
covered with a kind of glaze… My doubts about the existence of the
underground tunnels vanished as if by magic and I felt tremendously
happy. Moricz said that passages like those through which we were going
extended for hundreds of miles under the soil of Ecuador and Peru.”
“To begin with, I think that the cave of the Tayos is not a cave, but a
work of the hand of man, there is nothing in nature that can resemble
the Cave of the Tayos. It has the ceiling completely cut flat with a
90-degree angle to the wall. It is very similar to other tunnels of
similar characteristics and age in other parts of the world, which leads
us to think that before the Wisconsin glaciation there was a network of
tunnels on the planet, but to accept this we would need to accept the
existence—before said Glaciation—of a highly developed civilization. “
The Dark Continent (暗(あん)黒(こく)大(たい)陸(りく)()()()()()(), Ankoku Tairiku) is a place that stretches beyond the Known World which is nested inside the gigantic Lake Mobius
(located at the center of the Dark Continent). The ancestors of the
human race apparently migrated from there to the Known World, as the
deciphering of myths and the study of ancient ruins seem to testify. The giant Chimera Ant Queen came from there while it is speculated that the Magical Beasts also originated from the Dark Continent as well.
The New Continent (新大陸, Shin Tairiku) is an island located in the Untamed Waters of Lake Mobius, and thus outside of the territory colonized by mankind.
From human perspective, it lies before the Border Waters and the area
controlled by the Gatekeeper, it is technically not part of the Dark Continent. Compared to the latter, it is believed to be a much safer zone, which is why the V6 passed it off as the actual Dark Continent for the public at large.

Gourmet World (グルメ界, Gurume-kai) is the name given to a region consisting of over 70% of the Earth. In contrast to its relatively hospitable counterpart, the smaller Human World, the Gourmet World exclusively consists of extremely dangerous environments that most humans cannot occupy.
In the Gourmet World there are eight incredibly strong beasts whose
ancestors have ruled since ancient times, surviving through countless
mass extinction events and are considered a force of nature themselves,
gaining supremacy over members of their species as well as others. They
are known as the Eight Kings who rule over the eight areas of the Gourmet World.
The Dragon King (竜王 Ryūō) is the only known and the most powerful of all Derous and is the renowned ruler of Area 1. As the most powerful creature in Area 1, it holds absolute rule over one of the major areas in Gourmet World, making it a member of the Eight Kings
Entering the Gourmet World is a nearly impossible task whether attempted
by land, sea, or air. In the sky, massive walls of impassable cyclones
mark the aerial border of the Gourmet World. By sea, the deadly
poisonous ocean current "Poison Tide" renders ocean travel impossible.
Only the land routes are considered passable. The three land routes that
connect to the Gourmet World are Zabel Island's "Waterfall Basin of Life", Yutou Island's "Harbor of Evil Spirits" and the Wak Continent's "Three Way Road". Of the three, the "Waterfall Basin of Life" is comparatively the safest.
The Harbor of Evil Spirits (悪霊たちの港) is a mysterious sea filled with dark ominous fog and countless wrecked ships that is located near the shore of Yutou Island and it is one of the only three land routes in the Human World that leads into the treacherous Gourmet World.
Mutants are beings (Humans, Beasts or otherwise) that have been
born with a mutation or mutated via other means and turned into beings
that are physically and genetically unique amongst their own race.
The most common types of mutants are beings who have been directly injected with Gourmet Cells
that failed to adapt to their bodies which caused them to transform
into monster-like beings. Beings who have become mutants through this
method turn into monstrous beings that either still have a humanoid body
or have become so mutated that they look like a completely different
creature all together.
The ancestors of the denizens of Hex Food World were once ordinary humans who were mutated by the Gourmet Nobles
using Gourmet Cells that failed to adapt to their bodies, and the
descendants of these ancient mutants would go on to become their own unique races.
Scum Beasts are artificial lifeforms created by the Gourmet Corp.
by combining the genetics of numerous animals together in order to
create hideous and powerful mutant creatures who were solely designed
for combat and servitude.
The dreaded Death Gore
species was said to have actually been born from a mutation and these
beings existed solely to devour everything in their path. A variant of
this species known as the Death Gore Chimera
was an artificial mutant beast created by combining the DNA of several
beasts with the Death Gore and this creature later merged with Kimera to create a very deadly humanoid mutant.
The citizens and animals
of Hex Food World all resemble creatures from Japanese myth and
folklore and many have very diverse and weird appearances, but despite
appearances, they are all very friendly. Some of the races that live
here, such as Kappas and Onis
actually have their own distinct settlements where their kind prospers,
but it seems that the many races prefer to live alongside one another
likely due to their shared history, making Hex Food World a boiling pot
of diversity.
The origin of the many monstrous inhabitants of the Hex Food World is directly related to the Nitro,
as hundreds of thousands of years ago their ancestors were once
ordinary humans with a Japanese-style culture who were kidnapped by the Blue Nitros' ancient Four Beasts and injected with Gourmet Cells
in order to be used as slaves (and possibly as ingredients or
fertilizer for Acacia's Full Course as well), however the cells failed
to properly adapt to their bodies and they caused them to mutate greatly
and thus they became monstrous-looking mutants. These mutants would
eventually escape their enslavement and create their own society in the
shadow of the ruler of Area 8, Heracles knowing that the Nitro would never dare to attack one of the Eight Kings.
These mutant pioneers were then able to live peacefully and the
descendants of these mutants would eventually become their own unique
species and they became the inhabitants of Hex Food World.

The Papyrus of Ani is a papyrus manuscript in the form of a scroll with cursive hieroglyphs and color illustrations that was created c. 1250 BCE, during the nineteenth dynasty of the New Kingdom of ancient Egypt. Egyptians compiled an individualized book for certain people upon their death, called the Book of Going Forth by Day, more commonly known as the Book of the Dead, typically containing declarations and spells to help the deceased in their afterlife. The Papyrus of Ani is the manuscript compiled for the Thebanscribe Ani.
The scroll was stolen from an Egyptian government storeroom in 1888 by Sir E. A. Wallis Budge, as described in his two-volume By Nile and Tigris, for the collection in the British Museum
where it remains today. Before shipping the manuscript to England,
Budge cut the seventy-eight-foot scroll into thirty-seven sheets of
nearly equal size, damaging the scroll's integrity at a time when
technology had not yet allowed the pieces to be put back together.
"Earth is more commonly placed in a greenhouse state throughout the
epochs, and the Earth has been in this state for approximately 80% of
the past 500 million years, which makes understanding the direct causes
somewhat difficult."

an icehouse Earth, greenhouse gases tend to be less abundant, and

Solar radiation management (SRM) projects are a type of climate engineering which seek to reflect sunlight and thus reduce global warming. Proposed methods include increasing the planetary albedo, for example using stratospheric sulfate aerosols.
Restorative methods have been proposed regarding the protection of
natural heat reflectors like sea ice, snow and glaciers with engineering
projects. Their principal advantages as an approach to climate engineering is the
speed with which they can be deployed and become fully active, their
potential low financial cost, and the reversibility of their direct
climatic effects.
Solar radiation management projects could serve as a temporary
response while levels of greenhouse gases can be brought under control
by mitigation and greenhouse gas removal techniques. They would not reduce greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere

can empower evolution, but most importantly greatly enhance flavor of

For over five billion years, Nitro have cultivated planets by
administering Gourmet Cells and then stressing them with environmental
disasters, like the Gourmet Solar Eclipse, and with predators, like Appetite Demons. The Nitro started the process on Earth several hundred million years ago when a meteorite containing Gourmet Cells struck the planet. They became source of all life and ingredients on the planet, also inducing incredible evolution of organisms and environment.

revealed Reptite dwellings and possibly the Tyranno Lair itself.
Analysts noted that the Reptite civilization existed long before the
first human settlements were formed and that the Reptites had acquired

Dinopolis
"The
Reptites continued to prosper, eventually developing a philosophy of
close, symbiotic relationship with nature. As the Reptites evolved over
millions of years, they became Dragonians and created vast cities. Their ultimate achievement was the creation of Dinopolis, a floating city headed by the Dragon God, a machine that enabled control over the natural world. Dinopolis was dragged into the Keystone Dimension as part of Project Kid; the planet somehow shunted it there to act as a counterbalance against Chronopolis, which had just traveled backward in time after the Time Crash.
The resulting battle would echo the fate of the Reptites millions of
years before; the Chronopolis forces gutted the city and captured the
Dragon God, whom they split up into six parts and used to terraform El Nido.
The surviving Dragonians dispersed onto the new islands, where they
mingled with the Chronopolis workers dispatched to populate the new
paradise. Some become involved with the humans, resulting in a new Demi-human
species. The Dragonians also continued to revere nature religiously and
created several dwellings and fortresses that operated on Elements.
Unfortunately, the introduction of settlers from Zenan in 920 A.D.
disrupted their fragile way of life, and the remaining Dragonians died
off. Their traditions were still maintained by Demi-humans, though by
1020 A.D., only the establishment known as Fort Dragonia remained
operative."
"After the Dragon God was defeated and returned to the belly of the
Time Devourer, the only Reptite influences left in the world were the
presence of Demi-humans and the physical architecture remaining around
El Nido."

APPEARANCE: One of the rarest, most awesome, and most
powerful creatures ever known in East Asia is the unicorn-like kirin. It
is a regal animal, holy and highly revered, and often considered a god
in its own right. The kirin is a chimerical beast resembling a deer with
scales like a dragon’s covering its body. It has a tail like an ox’s
and a flowing mane. Its body and mane are covered in brilliant holy
fire. Its face is the picture of utter serenity.
BEHAVIOR: A gentle animal, the kirin never eats the
flesh of other beings, and it takes great care never to tread on any
living thing, even lowly insects. When it walks, it does so without
trampling a single blade of grass. Its beauty is only surpassed by its
rarity; kirin only appear during periods of world peace, during the
reigns of noble and enlightened rulers, in lands owned by wise and
benevolent people, or as heralds of a golden age. Kirin never harm good
and pure souls, but they are swift and fierce to attack if threatened,
breathing holy fire from their mouths.
A cockatrice is a mythical beast, essentially a two-legged dragon or serpent-like creature with a rooster's head. Described by Laurence Breiner as "an ornament in the drama and poetry of the Elizabethans", it was featured prominently in English thought and myth for centuries.
The Horned Serpent appears in the mythologies of many Native Americans. Details vary among tribes, with many of the stories associating the
mystical figure with water, rain, lightning and thunder. Horned
Serpents were major components of the Southeastern Ceremonial Complex of North American prehistory

Terra Cimmeria is a large Martian region, centered at 34.7°S 145°ECoordinates: 34.7°S 145°E and covering 5,400 km (3,400 mi) at its broadest extent. It covers latitudes 15 N to 75 S and longitudes 170 to 260 W. It lies in the Eridania quadrangle. Terra Cimmeria is one part of the heavily cratered, southern highland region of the planet. The Spirit rover landed near the area.
The word Cimmerium comes from an ancient Thracian seafaring people. The land was always covered in clouds and mist.
A high altitude visual phenomena, probably a condensation cloud, was seen above this region in late March 2012. NASA tried to observe it with some of its Mars orbiters, including the THEMIS instrument on the 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft and MARCI on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
Terra Cimmeria is the location of gullies that may be due to recent flowing water.
Gullies occur on steep slopes, especially on the walls of craters.
Gullies are believed to be relatively young because they have few, if
any craters. Moreover, they lie on top of sand dunes which themselves
are considered to be quite young. Usually, each gully has an alcove,
channel, and apron. Some studies have found that gullies occur on slopes
that face all directions, others have found that the greater number of gullies are found on poleward facing slopes, especially from 30-44 S.
Although many ideas have been put forward to explain them, the most popular involve liquid water coming from an aquifer, from melting at the base of old glaciers, or from the melting of ice in the ground when the climate was warmer.
Because of the good possibility that liquid water was involved with
their formation and that they could be very young, scientists are
excited. Maybe the gullies are where we should go to find life.
There is evidence for all three theories. Most of the gully
alcove heads occur at the same level, just as one would expect of an aquifer. Various measurements and calculations show that liquid water could exist in aquifers at the usual depths where gullies begin. One variation of this model is that rising hot magma
could have melted ice in the ground and caused water to flow in
aquifers. Aquifers are layer that allow water to flow. They may consist
of porous sandstone. The aquifer layer would be perched on top of
another layer that prevents water from going down (in geological terms
it would be called impermeable). Because water in an aquifer is
prevented from going down, the only direction the trapped water can flow
is horizontally. Eventually, water could flow out onto the surface when
the aquifer reaches a break—like a crater wall. The resulting flow of
water could erode the wall to create gullies. Aquifers are quite common on Earth. A good example is "Weeping Rock" in Zion National ParkUtah.[
Most of what we know about the ancient Thracians comes from surviving ancient Greek and Roman sources.
The Thracians were an ancient ethnic group that inhabited parts of
what is today European Turkey and the extreme north of Greece, but the
vast majority of Thracian land is in what is today Bulgaria. Although
Thrace as an extant group seemingly disappears with the same third- to
seventh-century Slavic, Gothic, and Visigothic invasions that felled the
Roman Empire, many Bulgarians can still trace their bloodlines and DNA
to ancient Thracians communities.
Thracian tribes fought amongst each other and they allied themselves with the Greeks
against other Thracian tribes. Those allied with the Greeks were more
civilized and they were usually established in settlements along the
Thracian coast. The interior tribes were known as savages, retaining their barbarous habits even until the Roman period.
From Neolithic times the land we currently know as Bulgaria was
occupied by primitive tribes then at
around 3000BC Thracians arrived and despite invasion from various
warring tribes thrived and increased in number. In 29 BC that
well known hero Spartacus fought off the Roman invasion but was
eventually overcome and Thrace became part of the Roman Empire.
When the Roman Empire eventually fell, Thrace came under the authority
of Byzantium. Later Slavs and Turkic-Tartar
peoples arrived from the Russian plains, the most notable being the
Bulgars who, uniting with the Slavic tribes, defeated the
Byzantines and formed the first Bulgarian state. During this time
Bulgaria flourished and became the Slavic cultural centre.
In 886 AD it was decreed by Tsar Boris 1 that Bulgaria should have its
own alphabet, the Cyrillic alphabet was born. Named
after a
Byzantine missionary, St Cyril, who along with his brother St
Methodius devised the ancient Glagolitic alphabet, thought to be a
derivative of the old Greek alphabet. The Cyrillic alphabet was
adopted and adapted by various Eastern European countries including
Russia,
Macedonia and Serbia. This is known as the First Bulgarian Kingdom.
The Byzantines invaded again and once again reduced Bulgaria to an
annex.
One notable cult, attested from Thrace to Moesia and Scythia Minor, is that of the "Thracian horseman", also known as the "Thracian Heros", at Odessos (Varna) attested by a Thracian name as Heros Karabazmos, a god of the underworld usually depicted on funeral statues as a horseman slaying a beast with a spear
Known Thracian deities include:
Sabazios, the Thracian reflex of Indo-European Dyeus,
identified with Heros Karabazmos, the "Thracian horseman". He gained a
widespread importance especially after the Roman conquest. After
Christianity was adopted, the symbolism of Heros continued as
representations of Saint George slaying the dragon (compare Uastyrdzhi/Tetri Giorgi in the Caucasus).
Zibelthiurdos (also "Zbelsurdos", "Zibelthurdos"): a god recognized as similar to the Greek Zeus as a wielder of lightning and thunderbolts.
Kotys ("Cotys", "Cotto", "Cottyto", "Cottytus"), a goddess worshipped with much revelry by Thracian tribes such as the Edonians in the festival Cotyttia.[4] A cult of Cottyto existed in classicalAthens. According to Greek sources her priests were called baptes or "washers" because their pre-worship purification rites involved bathing. Her worship included midnight orgies (orgia). Her name is believed to have meant "war, slaughter", akin to Old NorseHöðr "war, slaughter".

Bendis was a Thracian goddess of the moon and the hunt whom the Greeks identified with Artemis, and hence with the other two aspects of formerly Minoan goddesses, Hecate and Persephone.
Zemelā is probably a cognate of the Proto-Indo-European Earth goddess Dhéǵhōm, akin to Lithuanian Žemyna and Latvian Zemes Māte, both of which are "Mother Earth" goddesses.
Likely there has been an early Semele Goddess in proto-Slavic mythology
as 'earth' to this day is "земля" (zemlja) in Russian, "земља" (zemlja)

Legends of the Hall of Records and the Sleeping Prophet
The concept of an ancient, possibly “Atlantean” Hall of Records serving as a repository of occult knowledge, was first popularized by the famous American psychic and clairvoyant Edgar Cayce in the 1930s. In several of his readings, the “Sleeping Prophet” (as he became known), spoke of the deliberate burial of the records of Atlantean civilization at three locations on the planet: one on Atlantis (Poseidonis), another one in Egypt, and a third one in Yucatan or Central America. Although the story of the burial of the records is somehow confused, Cayce seems to refer to the destruction of the original Mesoamerican “Temple of Records”, and to the removal of the records to some other location. Authors John Van Auken and Lora Little further popularized the idea of an ancient “Hall of Records” in the Yucatan, basing their research on a literal interpretation of Cayce’s readings. The result of this research was a book published in 2000 and a TV documentary released a few years later, in which the two authors claimed the ancient site of Piedras Negras as the most likely location of Cayce’s Hall of Records. Piedras Negras is located a mere 35 kilometers (21 miles) downstream along the Usumacinta River from Yaxchilan, and is a much less studied and excavated site.

A high altitude visual phenomena, probably a condensation cloud, was seen above this region in late March 2012. NASA tried to observe it with some of its Mars orbiters, including the THEMIS instrument on the 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft and MARCI on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.Terra Cimmeria is the location of gullies that may be due to recent flowing water. Gullies occur on steep slopes, especially on the walls of craters. Gullies are believed to be relatively young because they have few, if any craters. Moreover, they lie on top of sand dunes which themselves are considered to be quite young. Usually, each gully has an alcove, channel, and apron. Some studies have found that gullies occur on slopes that face all directions, others have found that the greater number of gullies are found on poleward facing slopes, especially from 30-44 S.
Although many ideas have been put forward to explain them, the most popular involve liquid water coming from an aquifer, from melting at the base of old glaciers, or from the melting of ice in the ground when the climate was warmer. Because of the good possibility that liquid water was involved with their formation and that they could be very young, scientists are excited. Maybe the gullies are where we should go to find life.
There is evidence for all three theories. Most of the gully alcove heads occur at the same level, just as one would expect of an aquifer. Various measurements and calculations show that liquid water could exist in aquifers at the usual depths where gullies begin. One variation of this model is that rising hot magma could have melted ice in the ground and caused water to flow in aquifers. Aquifers are layer that allow water to flow. They may consist of porous sandstone. The aquifer layer would be perched on top of another layer that prevents water from going down (in geological terms it would be called impermeable). Because water in an aquifer is prevented from going down, the only direction the trapped water can flow is horizontally. Eventually, water could flow out onto the surface when the aquifer reaches a break—like a crater wall. The resulting flow of water could erode the wall to create gullies. Aquifers are quite common on Earth. A good example is "Weeping Rock" in Zion National Park Utah.[Most of what we know about the ancient Thracians comes from surviving ancient Greek and Roman sources.

The Byzantines invaded again and once again reduced Bulgaria to an annex.
