There were two hypotheses proposed.  

One was that Walsh could not come close to delivering what he promised based off his timeline, budget, and experience. Those are actual data points.
The second was that “armchair developers”  could not possibly predict what was going to happen.

Well.  Based on perfectly valid critical thinking, the first hypothesis has proven correct and you still are searching for a way to support the second in the face of data showing it to be false.  You may not understand why you were wrong.  Honestly, I don’t care if you ever understand why you were wrong.  It’s enough for me to know that you were.

Regardless of what subjective reasons you may throw out for it not being possible.  I (and others) have now called Greedmonger, Pathfinder Online, and Elyria correctly. Those are multiple data points. 

So regardless of whether you understand WHY you were wrong.  When people are right 3 times in a row, the smart person will listen and consider what they say when the fourth time comes.
