The management has been awful and I believe they are too arrogant to attempt an A Realm Reborn remake, which is what New World needs.I feel bad for the working devs that are caught up in this debacle.
I have 313.7 hours in this game since launch, I have done every dungeon, won/lost wars, invasions, world pvp, crafting, fishing... you name it... and I have stopped playing... The amount of bugs, dupes, exploits, broken weapong perks, unbalanced weapons, wars lagging out to no end, ninja nerfing items etc. makes this studio look incompetent.
A couple weeks ago I would have schilled and argued with anyone hating on this game, but honestly at this point, AGS deserves all the hate they get over this game. Sloppy release, sloppy support, sloppy game. Shame on me for not listening to reason sooner.
I read the final review of the title from last week, and was surprised it got a 6, I would have given it closer to a 4.
To anyone still playing, I hope you are having fun, really I do.

The problem with the last wealth transfer stoppage was that it made a new gold dupe for people with guilds, which essentially refunded gold when they tried to invest into stuff, but since gold couldn't move, they'd get refunded money they never spent. Hopefully they addressed that one before the transfer stop this time. What's worse with all these gold dupes is that the people doing them supposedly dont lose the gold they dupe if they are caught and temp banned.....I hate to say it but there needs to either be a wipe or fresh start rather soon.
I enjoy the game mechanics and log in to work on gathering/crafting skills and such until things are in a better state, but definitely feeling a "lack of confidence" fatigue.
Nothing really comes across as a decisive action when they can really benefit from appearing to have some sort of leadership and a clear direction forward. Might just be my perception of things, but man...it'd be nice if everything wasn't so reactionary..

You win the internet for today. I like your phrase "lack of confidence" fatigue.
That and the 'reactionary' part - is probably what scares me most about the future of the game. The example I run to is the merging of the auction houses. I feel like there are any number of ideas that may have enhanced the world and I believe this one only takes away from it. Maybe discuss it for awhile?
We MMORPG players are in a rough spot. We can invest thousands of hours into a game and have the developer just upend the entire apple cart with a single sloppy move.
This is why I usually wait for 6 months to a year after release before playing a MMORPG seriously. And I never put any time or money into a game in alpha.

I'm waiting for the announcement that all servers have been shut down and wiped to essentially relaunch the game from scratch. Because, that's about the only thing that this mess of a game hasn't had so far.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.

Yeah, I started a new character on Crick. Haven't played Fallen Earth, surprised somebody stole my name.

Yep..me and my wife love this game. I have about the same amount of hours in as you. Still lovin it. AGS will get over this hump. Nothing is ever smooth at first with any game. Looking forward to the compensation we will get for being patient with the devs working overtime on these things, and for the people that decided to take advantage of the dupes and exploits...well...so long!

This reminds me of that Charlie Brown Halloween Episode when Linus is out there waiting for the great pumpkin.
Linus says "Just wait ’til next year, Charlie Brown. You’ll see! Next year at this same time, I’ll find a pumpkin patch that is real sincere and I'll sit in that pumpkin patch until the Great Pumpkin appears. He'll rise out of that pumpkin patch and he'll fly through the air with his bag of toys. The Great Pumpkin will appear and I'll be waiting for him! I'll be there! I'll be sitting there in that pumpkin patch... and I'll see the Great Pumpkin. Just wait and see, Charlie Brown"

2024: 47 years on the Net.
A dev chimed in and said they didn't see the dup...in the video(when it is obvious) then got nasty with a poster who got nasty with them...
Then went to bed (from their own post)... and had to have "coffee" (Seattle for you folks) in the morning and backtrack.
Duping continued on for hours. Crazy.
