I love what they have to say in the developer discussions and so forth but a couple of things turned me off:
1: No real substance yet. 2: 10K lifetime sub.
So I threw some money at Fractured which seems to be making better progress.
What did they give in return for your investment, for the risk you assumed?
You're going to have to accept we want different things in a game. For me, crypto/NFTs/blockchain is a huge negative.
So nothing... You gave them money to work on THEIR game and you got NOTHING in return.
Man this shit has stop. Gamers deserve better than this. How the hell in this day in age, game developers/companies think this is ok? How in the hell do you think this is ok?
Gamers have been treated wrong. Free money, for years, nothing else.
Stop this craziness in 2022.
edit- when's the game coming out? No clue huh.. smh.
I would consider giving them money, and getting an NFT in return, to not only be getting nothing in return for my money but also insulting my intelligence in the process.
I'm not going to be ashamed of donating to a developer who is pursuing a design concept that I find appealing.... especially at the hands of someone who pimps NFTs. How divorced from reality do you have to be to think minor risks like this aren't an everyday part of life. Ever plant a garden?
You've completely over-estimated the appeal of the product you're trying to move.

sad man really sad.
There isn't any reason to be sad. We're free.
You'd find an evening of slogging through Evendim (a region in LOTRO) to be a boring waste of time and money. The good news is you don't have to do that. You can go play Zed Run, play with NFTs, or enjoy some crypto-currency generating game.
I'd find an evening of earning NFTs or crypto-currency to be insulting and a waste of my time. The good news is I don't have to do that. I can go run around Evendim as a Beoring and tear tomb-raiders to pieces.
Looks like we both get what we want. I see only good news here.
Fair keep throwing money at pre-alpha pre-sales. it's your money. you're right.
