No. None of the newer games have any servers that have it anyway like I want. If they did, I'd be playing them. And I don't care if there are 145 servers that I consider "carebear" servers honestly. I understand and accept that I am part of a rare breed here that appreciates PvP and a true challenge. But not one game has gotten it right since Pre-Trammel Ultima Online -and- Asherons Call on the Darktide server. All I want is one high quality game with all the great mmo elements and PvP too, just like the Darktide server of AC. So, why don't I still play AC you ask? I do! But it is getting past its prime. There are not enough players left, and those there are still there have done it all, seen it all, and played AC to its max imo. We need a fresh slate. A breath of fresh air in a new high quality mmo to fight in. I don't want to force my ways of playing on anyone, really. I do however want a glossy new version of AC1 Darktide however. And I want it to be challenging. Nothing out or thats came out in the past 3 years is even close to what people like myself want. Meanwhile we got upteen beautiful, but overly stream-lined, way too simplified mmos out that quite frankly bore the living hell out of us. Is it too much to give us one WoW or EQ2 server with hardcore PvP game mechanics? And just adding PvP isn't enough. Gotta take away all this gimp BS crap like pyramid leveling systems where we can't set our own skills, and giving us friggin' golden rays of light to show us where we died. We want "some" challenge. That's all man.

Actually Zax, they aren't making PvP MMORPGs because they aren't really sure how.

They know how Jimmy, come on. If they could make great PvP games back in 97 with pre-trammel Ultima Online and in 99 with Asheron's Call "Darktide", they surely can do it nowdays. Both of these are/were awesome PvP mmos years ago. They know how. They simply don't care or give a damn about the hardcore mmo fans like myself and are only interested in making the most money possible for the least time investment. Wow did what it did and has over a million subsribers or whatever without making a new server with new rules and PvP for people like me. They don't consider it worth the investment for even one "hardcore" server even it it got them 50,000 more subscribers or whatever. It's all about making as much $$$ as possible with as little investment as possible. Only the smaller companies know what we really want, and what would make a truly much better mmo. Problem is they simply seem to lack the resources to get it to the shelves in anywhere near the quality of these other mass-oriented, overly stream-lined, way too simplified garbage mmos like EQ2 and WoW. Sad but true. It happens in the music industry too. Hundreds of super talented musicians fail and go bankrupt all the time trying to get an album started. Meanwhile, over-produced garbage like "The Spice Girls" and Britney Spears target the masses with not even 1/10th the talent and are insanely successful. Doesn't mean that they are better or put out better music however just because more teenaged girls buy it up. ...If you get my drift. ::::39::
