It's sad... instead of getting rid of racism, people keep pushing it further. It's like the kid that hit you, so you have to hit them back.
Granted, I feel sorry for minorities who get treated unfairly (and I know they do), but while things like civil rights movements and affirmative action and minority pride groups are being developed and created, it's getting harder and harder to be a white male.
What I want to know is, why is it that every "white pride" group has to be so violent against the other races? Why can't there be one big white pride organization that's peaceful like the NAACP? Why are we stuck with the militants and rednecks and KKK?

Sadly, every race/religion/or countryman has it's crazy organizations...
Whites --> KKK
Blacks --> Black Panthers (some may not call them violent...but while not as outright violent as KKK they still harbored ill feelings)
Muslims --> Hamas, Al Quada
Christians --> KKK again
Jewish --> Some would say the Jewish Defense League but I dont have enough knowledge in that group to say for sure.
Germans --> Facism Nazi Party
Italians --> Facisim
Russia --> Communism (lol be a Pro Peace in former Soviet Union and see how far that got ya)
Various African Tribes --> Genocide rather than civil war is on the minds of many of these rebel leaders
Kosovo --> Muslim Extermination groups

I've got this covered. My kids are 1/4 Mexican 1/4 Filipino and 1/2 Caucasian. When they go somewhere and they need to be white they just bring dad. When they need to be a minority they just bring mom. When they need to be poor they claim dad because I'm a house husband. When they need to be well off they claim mom(6 figure income). Come on people adapt and overcome.LOL

Must be White; have an SAT Score at least 1000 combined, 3.0 GPA, U.S. Citizen or Perm Resident Freshman, Sophomore, Junior (with 2 summers available before graduation) attending a accredited University or College.

If you live in madera, california like i do then you know white people are the minority over here.
In my college classes there is 1 white person for every 10 mexicans and like 1/2 black person for every 1 white person.
I think back and NONE of my friends are anything close to white.
I hope a white person applys for this and is denied and then sues them for the same reason other people have been sued so they get a taste of their own medicine.

I personally think we should do away with Affirmative action. While there are still prejudice people still around, for the most part companies hire those with the skills and not the color

Nowadays being white or black isn't a color anymore.... Because I know black people that live white culture and i know white people who live black culture....
To me right now Black and White are supersets of Ethnicities.... So people might be getting wrong information from Census... Like Take for example Sammy Sosa... He's Black but i'm sure he claims to be Latino of some sort on a survey or Tiger Woods .... he's black but he will claim to be asian on surveys... and in 15 years.. the majority of the people are going to stray away from the supersets of Black and White and go into the true ethnicities... Which kinda hurts me cuz it's like people are just TRYING to be even MORE different than they already are by constructing these boundaries of Ethnicity.
Anyways on the Internship thing... Ok i guess to you guys it may seem really bad... But lets take the population as an example applying for a normal scholarship... If 1000 white people apply for the scholorship and then 100 people of color apply.... And everyone has a fair chance... who do you think is going to get most of those scholorships the white folk or the colored folk? Now this is why some companies only offer some opportunities to minority groups, because it gives more colored folk a chance to get a scholorship.......
I know it must look really bad... but these things have to be done or else... lets say 40 percent of the white population will have scholorships and 40 percent of the colored population will have scholorships.... So that means with about 100 thousand students 30 thousand white kids will have scholorships and 8 thousand colored will have scholorships and that 8 million people are Hispanic, black, Indian... etc... all the minorities.....
If you look at it at the individual level Everysingle person may have the same opportunity.... but when you look at as a group White people have the advantage... and will always have it..
DISCLAIMER: These numbers are in no way accurate they are roughly estimated from percentages of White to other but the numbers themselves do not represent correctly the students. And no i'm not bashing white people for having an advantage..... In this case White people only have an advantage because of the majority factor
PS: remember if you look at it at the individual level it's unfair to white folk... but at the group level the current system is very much biased towards white folk.... or the majority folk in general.

There's no way I would ever go to school with the same race/color either. I can barely stand when groups of the same race hang out with each other gossiping about everyone around them.
There was this one time when there were maybe 10 spanish guys hanging out beside my locker. They were the typical "gangsta" stereotypical spanish guys. I hate that crap because it makes people like me look bad.(I'm spanish and I don't enjoy people thinking I should dress like a gangster because of it)
Anyways..
These guys were standing by my locker so I went over to my locker to get my books to overhear them saying alot of racist comments in spanish. I won't be telling you what they were saying because it would be innapropriate but it was some pretty nasty stuff. I hate that attitude that they have where they think that they are superior to everyone else. It doesn't help that my school is 25% filled with ESL students with the same attitude.
It's funny but I have to say that spanish people are some of the most racist people you will ever meet. This is coming from a spanish guy who knows what he is talking about. I don't know if there's anyone else out there who is latino but you can't tell me that your parents have never said anything racist.
