What if I told you my source said they were making AOII and it will be released in late 2005? What would you say?
Its true.
Funcom and sony MMORPG had actually had a pamflet out at E3 2003 which for some reason noone knew about. My mate photocopied it and put the original on ebay and got a nice 15 bucks for it. I dont know much about what it said but I do know the article included the sentences "Anarchy Online II will begin it's developing process starting in early 2004" and "The "new game" may actually turn into an expansion for the original Anarchy Online"
You heard it first from me.
As you read this I am jacking with my 1996 scanner to make it light up and be able to scan the pictures onto the website.

Seeing as how AO got really good review on many diff sites, and was mmorpg of the year or whatever, and along with other awards, i doubt it will go out of busness any time soon.
And AO2 would be sweet as hell. I all round like AO, but there are some things it lacks that would be nice to see. I would like to see tons of more interactive NPCs, even if they dont really do anything, it still would make an interesting aspect of the game. I would also like tons more quests and random missions, AO has many as it is, but id like to see AO2 have like 5x as many. More "dungeons" and stuff would also be cool. Possibly more classes and skills , and of corse, better gfx, although AO has good gfx as it is (considering when it was made) i think it would look great w/ better gfx.
the reviews for Shadowlands mean nothing!
The people who did the reviews don't even play Anarchy Online... If they had a level 200 character camping in shadowlands... They would have given Shadowlands a 2 ! yes a 2!
All you do in shadowlands is camp... Grind grind grind grind!

Believe me, Funcome are not going out of business. Anarchy Online has a lot of members and Shadowlands reviews are great.

YEs the reviews are great... but they don't tell the truth.
I never hated this game.
The game went down the drain when the Expansion pack Shadowlands came... Lots of players left the game and a bunch of n00bs bought the game.

Well Funcom have already stated that there will be no AO2 (atleast not in the near future). Apparentlu they´re working on another mmorpg title, but it´s supposed to be a horror mmorpg of some kind.
Speaking from Experience from the org Called Legion on RK1, Lots of camping but promises to be worth it.
I've left and I have seen the high end game 2 accounts 183 Soldier, 177 Martial Artist, 164 MP, 164 Engi, 140's Doc, and a squad of Twinks up 130's.
What I miss the most is the friends.................
I had (in fact still do) a lvl 200 trader and couple chars in the 150's and yes Shadowlands sucked the life out of the game for me....mind you lvling to 200 will do that to you.
I havent played the game since they decided to make travelling into and through various parts of SL a whole lot easier, which is something they definately needed to do, because falling of a ledge to land in some clan controlled part of RK, when your in fact Omni really does suck large ones....not too mention the 15 minutes it takes to get back to where you were....
Regardless of whether travelling is easier, SL is 100% campfest, no artificial flavourings or colourings...just 100% pure campfest boredom.
If the game didnt turn into a gigantic black hole, otherwise known technically as a "time-sink", id still be playing.

Actually hes right, reviewers don't know what they are talking about a large percent of the time when dealing with MMO's. I remember Neocron back in the day got terrible reviews because the reviewers thought all it was was the city and the very first newbie dungeon.
And alot of times its impossible for them to get a real clear idea on what MMO's are like in the small amount of time they alot to checking it out...
