A corpse may make noises after it dies, but I can guarantee you the phone call frequency drops dramatically. And the sig is a parody of the movie poster for the temple of doom, my poke at the doomsayers on these and other forums.
I just cancelled my SWG account. Actually 2 of them.
I have played since release, I had a Jedi Knight (pre-pub 9) on one server and a MBH on another (been MBH since about a month after launch). I have never seen a game cut its own wrists so thoroughly.
I truly believe the only people that like this game now are the people that cry constantly it was too hard to get or be a Jedi. Lazy dabbler gamers that think every game should be about them. Well, you got your way. Its not even remoly close to SWG, The sooner they kill this abomination the better. Hopefully a real game company will get ahold of the title and make it the legendary MMORPG it could/should have been from day 1.
I cant believe Lucas Arts would put their name on this pile of junk. Truly a sad day for serious gamers/Star wars fans. Have fun terminal noobs, your day has finally come. You too can be a jedi, all you have to do is log in. But oh yeah, dont try to solo anything, unless it is well below your level, you cant. Jedi used to solo Krayts...now I would be suprised if a full crew could do it.

Its called a free trial. Many people will play a free trial with no intention ever to buy. They want something to do for a few days. After about 3 months it might actually go lower then ever before.
I have been playing the 10 day free trial and hate to say it but I'm having a lot of fun. I have been reading about all the veteran's hating NGE and I feel for them. I was probably going to pay for it after the 10 days were up. I'm not sure I'm going to now after reading about all the veteran's cancelling their accounts and telling me the best part of SWG is the free trial.

I'm a first day vet, and I am not cancelling my account.
And the trial is most definitely not the best thing about the game. It's definitely new, so it seems interesting to vets, but they've forgotten how enjoyable the day to day life in SWG can be. Old features like owning a house in a player city or doing duty missions in space. They've long grown tired of that stuff, but it was great when it was new, and it's new to you. There's plenty to keep you occupied for a few months.
Are you really going to trust some whiny troll on the internet over your own play experience? There are lots of people going around saying that they are vets or disabled when they are neither. They just want to complain and they want quick credentials to be taken seriously.
I love the NGE there is no way this game is dying i never seen so many players hell C-net was full for the first time in months i went to the cantin on tatooine and i enver seen so many players only thing i hate is that the damn quests to get the yt-2400 is hard but who cares they finaly made this the way it should be flame on

What planet is this idiot from? Its dead everywhere, cantinas have 1 or 2 players in them max right now, coronet is dead.
I agree, most planets are absolutely barren on my server and my server is constantly on "medium". The only place with people is mos eisley that is sprawling with lvl 6-10's. Everwhere else is as dead as can be. Cantinas are empty, med centers are empty, and even coronet is empty.

So there are loads of people in C-net for the first time in ages.
D'ye know why?? Because that's one of the few places you can get to Mustafar from. Mustafar is one of the few places a CL80 player can quest and gain enough XP to actually progress.
Other than Eisley Tatooine is deserted. AFK grinders in Ft Tusken already!! Rock on!
