Very informative thread! Of course everyone will have thier opinions on L2, so just try it.. if it's your type of game great! If not, move on.
Personally I LOVE L2, the politics, the drama, the graphics, the gameplay, I think it's an excellent MMO, the ratings were hurt a bit during its shoddy release, but since then a LOT has been overcome (botters, farmers, etc).
