Scroll the picture to the right...
The only time I saw Theed with less people was in that Exodus video.

It sounds great, so great in fact, I pitty those who canceled - Some deluded SWG fanboi who pities me.
I don't like it when you say things. - A Vanguard fan who does too.

Someone likes the pre-cu interface me thinks?
Edit: Image out for better forum chewiness
I can only count 5 people in that screenshot, so I would vote that it's pretty empty.
Since the forum is scrolling the pic, click the link to see the WHOLE pic http://www.maddocmatt.com/swg/theed3.jpg Also look at the radar
And yes, I do actually prefer the pre-NGE interface to the NGE interface A bunch of people have actually figured out how to customize the UI and it would seem SOE doesn't care too much as the threads been up for about a week on the game play forum.
Meh, looks dead to me. I still think of times when hundreds were in Theed and Cnet, simultaneously.
Coming from a less populated server, Theed looked like that after the CU hit....
hate to see Wot it looks like now
WOW!!!
NOT!!!!
Before the CU and the NGE you would have more people than that on an Image Designer's hut!

I wish I had saved some pics from before NGE & CU. So people can see what a packed server/city/area really means. Because, with all due respect to the people that have posted some of the pics here, some of these are pretty pathetic compared to previous versions of SWG. I know some people joined after these disasters...err... events, so they don't know better, but the veterans know better! Except for Obraik who has been here pre-CU but decides to just see what suits him.

I'm not saying it's packed, I'm saying it's not dead. NPC cities haven't been packed since JTL. As I said earlier, that is a pretty normal Theed population on Chilastra.
There is certainly more people there then 6 people or I wouldn't have bothered doing a screenshot of it /who said there was over 32 people but that was all of Theed, a rough estimate for that pic was around 15-17 people (I guess it's kinda hard to make out the people in that big clump near the Flea in the pic).
i'm looking at a screen shot I took november 29th 2004....Cnet...at 9pm central time on MONDAY night.....
Server is Bria...location is CNET...my radar was at 128m....and I can't count how many there are do to overlapping dots...it looks like about 60 people at least....on a monday night....
It was PRE-CU by the look of the UI...I had 6 buff icons in that little window....I am pretty sure based on my conversation in the chat window I was finding a hard time finding enough people for a vet mission or some other high end grouped mission...because I was trying to get a count of confirmed people coming....groups could be 20 then.
At that time, my current guild, DO-II was the largest city "Agrilat" on the Bria server boasting well over 200 or 300 I can't remember as I left them not too much longer after that....Then I went to a guild on Rori...(U know...the planet that was always "empty?").....Before NGE hit, our guild was 170....on RORI.....
the last time I logged on....of a friend's list beyond count...I had 3 friends on....our last guild meeting had 7 show up....and I'm with 6 of them on WoW now.
There is NO server anywhere that is "coming up" or "full" or "crowded" ....EVER.....The game died for good on NGE.

Primetime on Star Wars Galaxies, Right before JtL, if you got off at Theed, Eisley, and Coronet you would end up walking in a bath made of people. Probably 100+ in the immediate area. Typical hangouts were Cantina, Hospital, and ID tent(Theed always had a popular one it seems).
People met these places for a few reasons... buffs. healing wounds. chatting. finding a group or something to do.
