Either you forgot to add /sarcasm to the end of your post or you are in serious need of a reality check m friend.
Speaking for myself, i sometimes pull the WoW analogy because i played both EQ2and WoW, moving between the 2 for man months, presently i dont play either of them, but my own experiences give me some prespective on the issues at hand.
Now, back to the job of trying to read trough that mess you call a post, "Q2 have at pik time 6 high servers and the rest is ALL medium.EQ2 DONT hve low servers." hmm, i think most of us here agree that Eq2 has some issues with the server population on some of its servers, if ou bothered to check, some of them are marked "low" most of the time. Now, keep in mind that a server is marked high if it has 2500 people playing at the same time, maybe even less than that number. Those servers marked low could have numbers as low as 500 people playing, the medium ones barely braking 1000 players at the same time. As you can see by those numbers, its ver hard to enjoy a mmorpg with so few people playing on your server if its one of the "low" ones, i know that from experience, after playing AC2 a couple of years back.
"...wow players are jailous, cause they have few to none content haded." Now, its a given fact that Blizzard doesnt update their content in WoW as fast as SOE updates theirs in EQ2, EQ2 already has 2 expansion packs with the Kingdom of Sky and a few adventure packs. But if you look at the content bizzard did add, you cant say that they didnt add a significant ammount of content, new art, new gameplay features, etc, all of it unique and not using the same art, unlike the aproach SOE tend to take with their free content updates. Im not saying that SOE´s system is better or worse than blizzards, just a diferent aproach.
"Please stop flaming EQ2 wen you dont know nothing about it" I think you should take a little more time thinking about what your going to post and what is the best way to make your point(s), instead of making a post like you just did, with little to no coerent thought involved.

    Well actually Warcry is right.
Your in need of a reality check, because there are 6 or 7 on high on peack times and all onn medium. THe only time you see ligh anymore is like in the morning, or at noon on weekdays.
So, yes stop flaming SOE and EQ2 till you have played it...... And the game has realy gotten good in the past few months.
So, if you left cause you didnt like it, or are just looking for something new come to EQ2, because honestly it is the best MMOG that is out right now, no matter what the ratings say.

Indeed, the EQ2 servers are so busting with enormous activit and player numbers that SOE in their great wisdom decided that the only logical choice to deal with these hordes of players was to merge servers /sarcasm.

And did i flame EQ2 on the post you quoted? i stated the facts, if you took that as flaming Eq2, then thats your problem no mine, but i guess you and your language impared friend are fit company for eachother, no? ::::20::

Ive already stated why servers are merging, if you play you know why, and its not negative at all.

SO go and know what your talking about befor you postimage

The new EQ2, better than ever befor !

I am happy to hear about server merges, but only because my server could use a huge boost to the population.  All my oppinion of course, but I have been playing Eq2 since the very begining moments the Nektulos server went live.  We are not actually being merged to another, but instead we are gaining people from another server.  Now how do you think SOE determines which server gets merged into which or for that matter which servers to just start merging?  Do ya think after the lowest population servers are picked to get merged that SOE just starts sticking them wherever they want?  That's my guess since there does not seem to be alot of logic to me in anything else they have been doing as of late. *shrug*  Am I still paying to play, yes (in more ways than one), but am I happy?  No, not really at the moment.  I have tried playing WoW (the only other game currently out I was remotely interested in) on two occassions now and it is just not the game for me so I have decided to stick with Eq2 while biding my time until the release of Vanguard Saga of Heros.  Maybe not my smartest move ever and I'll be the first to admit that. image  Time will certainly tell though, no?  As I am a casual gamer I have plenty of time.  I am just running out of patience.

Just for the record I don't believe for a moment that merging servers is a sign everything is perfectly stable/fine or even possibley on the upswing over at SOE in regards to Eq2, no matter how sweet the PR department wants to sugar coat it.  Use all the positive adjectives ya like, but SOE has not made a believer at of me.

if only the other 50% of EverQuest 2 players were like you. *wipes tears from his eyes* least you got it right iwth Vanguard, but honestly dump this crappy game. You yourself said it wasnt fun so why pay for it.. Try Eve Online ot pass the time. or WoW. or D&D, anything, just stop giving them money for a shoddy game.

Munk I play for my guild is why I still play. image I wouldn't be able to find a better group of people to play with anywhere else nor would I even wish to try.  I am not waiting alone for V:SoH, I have a good number of people I currently play Eq2 with interested and waiting right along side me every night as we fight through the lag of QH, revamp after revamp and the supposed "upgrades" for our benefit.  I'll tell you what I could benefit from.  How about a game that is released not half finished or only half though out? Oh, I know what the believers say, all games evolve over time, its done for a reason, a purpose, it's in the players best interests.  Hell yes, that's why I have basically paid to beta Eq2 for the last 16months. NOT!  I'll tell ya what I think, I think it is alot easier to keep "evolving" a game when there was never really a plan to begin with except maybe the almighty plan to continue making a buck.  It's easy to change directions depending on which way the wind is blowing when you have no set course to begin with.  I waited so long for Eq2 and I was so hyped about playing it - all that excitement, all that enthusiasm has come and gone in not even in an 18 month time span.  A guild that has been as screwed over as mine has with the seemingly limitless changes as to how patrons contribute to a guild and status points each patron earned and who took what with em when they left (regarding pts even though yes, I realize they were nontransferable between guilds) in the end for what?  Nothing... nothing is what.  The current guild set-up vaguely resembles what we had at launch.  The whole game as it is now vaguely resembles what we had at launch for that matter, but my guild, the people I love to play with have not.  We're still hanging right on in there together.  Who is to say Eq2 is not going to change tomorrow on a SOE whim? *shrug*  I find no better people to commiserate with than my guild.  We were a guild 6 months prior to launch and we'll still be a guild after Vanguard is released.  Only difference is we'll be together playing on V:SoH having a grand time, not that we don't know how to make the best of a dour situation.  We've learned from the best on how to put a posivite spin on any situation (including already good situations, we'll just spin em even better!) and we'll have SOE to thank for that many moons from now no matter where we are.  Point is twofold basically.

    1. Sometimes it is not the game content or parent company that makes a game worth continueing to play - at least until the next better looking game comes along.

    2. Where as I agree my 15 bucks a month could definately be better spent, I like to think I know alittle something about loyalty.  A character "flaw" I would love to see SOE try patching back into their concience.  Oh, I know - maybe it'll be released in Eq2's third expansion 6months from now. *sigh*  All I know for sure is I most likely wont be around to ever see it happen.

Well game is made of many zones thus needs merging tbh.

As for those looking for other reasons to this i think their opinon matters very little since

a)they will bash the game no matter what

b)have no plans of even trying the game
