The first word that comes to mind when you mention the word "Smedley"?

in Star Wars Galaxies

I thought this would make an interesting topic as everytime i hear his name now, the first thing that comes to mind is the word scum, it describes him perfectly but i find it funny how everytime i hear "smedley" i automatically think scum.

    When I first heard the name Smedley, all I could see in my mind's eye was a short, skinny pencil-necked geek with a pocket protector and Bill Gates glasses. 

    NOW when I hear the name Smedley, I see a short, squat, greasy villain type, twirling his mustache and threatening to tie innocent young heroines to the railroad tracks.

    I'd have to say scapegoat too. He's not allowed to say anything BAD about SOE or face getting fired. It's a choice between upsetting the community or losing a paycheck.
