AC2 was 10% completed at release??? 10% of MMORPG is only the initial idea, some lore and maybe some conceptional art. So you played a game without game engine, without online world, without any races, without any skills, without any mobs, without any NPCs, without UI....

About exploits.... I've said: There were no hacks, cheats and exploits possible in the last 6 months. And they are still not possible and never will be. And that's truth, They may have been some exploits in distant past but they don't affect the game as it is now. All items from then are useless for lvl 50+ character. And I don't believe that thing about your gold. There are many players from beta still in game and nobody has that amount of gold. The richest player on our server has about 8M gold. And you claim you have 999 999M???? Please log in and give me some gold then

This is purely your opinion. And you are entitled to it. BTW... can you answer these questions?
1. When was the last time you played SWG?
2. What was your character's name? What server name did you play on?
the graphics may be nice, but everything looks the same.. alll the planets are the same s--- in a different toilet.
1. If you want to believe a planet like Tantooine and a planet like Endor look exactly the same it's on you.
BTW, some planets are in the same solar system like Talus and Corellia, (which are 'sister' planets) but then again only those with common sense about basic physics, and cosmology, and astronomy (see 9th grade science) would know that planets that orbit the same sun roughly the same distance tend to have the same eco systems.
Tantooine, Endor, Dathomir, are some of many examples of planets that have nothing in common in looks or scenery. The monsters are all different, and also different levels.
Corellia, Talus are sister planets. Rori and Naboo are even more closely related because Rori is a moon of Naboo.
AC2 was 10% completed at release??? 10% of MMORPG is only the initial idea, some lore and maybe some conceptional art.
10% is this:
- The game cannot be entered because the server has not been stress tested to minimum specs.
- When one somehow does "accidently" enter the game, one gets kicked out.
- When one is somehow able to stay in the game, the game freezes.... every 5 mins no matter what. Move... freeze ... move around.. freeze... move around... freeze. And this is with minimum settings on a high end computer.
- And my favorite - You could see the game engine actually "drawing" the game world while trying to move around LOL.
- There was no lore. One of the most major IDEAS behind AC2 was how towns could be built, then destroyed, then rebuilt. Not a single town could be built, or re-built.
- Everyone is 'magically' able to turn all loot into gold? Yeah, great way to build a strong economy.
So you played a game without game engine, without online world, without any races, without any skills, without any mobs, without any NPCs, without UI....
- Since the server kept going down most of the time whenever the population was well below server specs , since the game was unplayable, since the game kept freezing... then moving... then freezing... then moving... every 5 mins on the mark, since MOBs were hard to find, since there were no NPCs , since the UI was sooo terrible players had to erase characters and start over because of an unknown UI bug, ..... then yes it is the equivilant of having no game at all.
- I said it was roughly 10% completed at launch, not 0% compleated (except to players who exploited to high level and found the DEVs big secret). A 10% compleated game in AC2's case is the intro world done, the newbie zones done, the newbie dungeons done, and that's it. I have screenshots of how after when you kill a monster, it would get stuck in the sky making it impossible to loot your own kill.
I can tell you stories of running along, and seeing black squares in the ground as the gameworld is still being drawn, or not drawn at all.
And of course there's the blatant fact that players discovered the DEVs on purpose never ever made an effort to even start on the high level content.
When life tastes like lemmon, take tequila and salt.
Where did you get this quote or saying or 'wisdom' thingy from anyway?
And that's truth, They may have been some exploits in distant past but they don't affect the game as it is now. All items from then are useless for lvl 50+ character.
7 months ago is not "the distant past". Again, the AC2 game DEVs NEVER took away whatever GAINS players made from the exploits. This includes level 50 items. Since those players were able to exploit uber-powerlevel to the highest levels. (Remember how the players were able to find out the AC2 DEVs big secret? That there was absolutly no high end game?)
And I don't believe that thing about your gold. There are many players from beta still in game and nobody has that amount of gold. The richest player on our server has about 8M gold. And you claim you have 999 999M???? Please log in and give me some gold then
The thing with the gold was an example of how a past exploit can and will still affect the current game. And I gave away all my items the last day I played. (I had 2 NICE axes, and some NICE armor all crafted by the highest level crafter on the server I was on. I met him purely by accident near the Haunted Cave. I was annoyed the game wouldn't let me inside because it said I was "too high level". Man, I've never heard of a game that didn't allow players to enter dungeons because they were too high level. Makes it impossible to see the entire game if a player levels up too quickly (No I didn't exploit.)

SWG has no content and this is opinion of thousands of people who quit SWG and still trying to "play" this "game".

"...again only those with common sense about basic physics, and cosmology, and astronomy (see 9th grade science) would know that planets that orbit the same sun roughly the same distance tend to have the same eco systems...."
I would love to see teacher who teaches such things. We dont even know if there is a life in Universe besides Earth so talking about eco systems in this matter shows what a ignorant fool you are. And if you had any idea about any sience at all you would know that distance from the STAR (not sun STAR xplororor, shame on SW fan) will not determine eco system on the planet. There is many other VERY important factors like natural resources, amount of atmosphere (type of atmosphere), planet core temperature and milions other factors. Distance from the star wont even determine average temperature on the panet not even talking about eco system.

10% is this:
- The game cannot be entered because the server has not been stress tested to minimum specs.

- When one is somehow able to stay in the game, the game freezes.... every 5 mins no matter what. Move... freeze ... move around.. freeze... move around... freeze. And this is with minimum settings on a high end computer.
This is completely subjective, my experience was entirely different, no problems logging in no game crashes at all, on not high end machine, Celeron 933Mhg 256Mb RAM Nvidia GeForce2. I was able to log in and play for hours with no crashes and no disconnections.
- And my favorite - You could see the game engine actually "drawing" the game world while trying to move around LOL.
This again I dont really know what the heck are you talking about, sorry if game performance was far from expected but I belive it was all about your computer not game code.
- There was no lore. One of the most major IDEAS behind AC2 was how towns could be built, then destroyed, then rebuilt. Not a single town could be built, or re-built.
Rebuilding was screved and I agree with you on that one, they promised it before beta and never delivered or pulled back.
- Everyone is 'magically' able to turn all loot into gold? Yeah, great way to build a strong economy.
Thats game feature, same goes for every other MMORPG out there, NPC with unlimited amount of cash buying any crap you can find are more realistic for you? They arent for me sorry.
So you played a game without game engine, without online world, without any races, without any skills, without any mobs, without any NPCs, without UI....
Uhg we must have played different games...
Again I dont know what server you were on apart from announced patches and maintenence + occasional hotfix there was no lowdowns.
- I said it was roughly 10% completed at launch, not 0% compleated (except to players who exploited to high level and found the DEVs big secret). I would love to see those screenshots. You obviously had bad experience with game It happends, every game has bugs one have more other have less. 2 worst launches in MMORPG history in my opinion are AO and SWG. Amount of bugs in both of them made them unplayable on launch, AC2 was bugged but had maybe 10% of bugs SWG had on start (and still has 6 months and 300k drones later).
I can tell you stories of running along, and seeing black squares in the ground as the gameworld is still being drawn, or not drawn at all.
Get new graphics card, tone your settings, it seems to me you have too high settings to too slow machine.
And of course there's the blatant fact that players discovered the DEVs on purpose never ever made an effort to even start on the high level content.
You pushing it, there wasnt much high lvl content thats true, but there was a few lvl 40+ quests. It wasn't much I agree, more was added soon after relase, I challenge you to do all quests that are in AC2 now in lets say 6 months, gues what you wont do it and in those 6 months more will be added. Yes there was not much high lvl content on start but now there is plenty.

Don't you read my posts? ALL ITEMS FROM THAT TIME ARE WORTHLESS NOW!!! You'll find better items in 10 minutes of solo hunting. And you can enter any dungeon you want regardless of your level.
p.s. What problem do you have with my signature? At least is not so self-involved as yours.

First of all, enough about SWG aka Star Wars Galaxies.
This is the AC2 Forum. Let's keep it on subject which is AC2. Whatever you think, or feel, about SWG is moot here in this forum.
Second, all the computers I use are perfectly fine. The one at home, at my friend's house, and at work. They all easily met the requirements to play AC2. You can see the screenshots by going to the links in my signature.
Last, if you like AC2, then continue on liking it.
But I'm not going to let MicroSoft and Turbine get away with what they think they are getting away with - a multi-billion $$$ company releasing a horribly incompleated MMORPG, which 1 yr later has not ever come close to reaching 100k accounts, has not ever come close to being financially successfull. And yet they still expect players to play, accept, and defend all this. I will not let them alone in peace. I'm going to keep on making sure it gets noticed.

HUMAN life can only exist on planets a certain distance from the sun. Sol, or star, call it what you want. At any other distance, Human life becomes impossible. This is basic science.
And if you had any idea about any sience at all you would know that distance from the STAR (not sun STAR xplororor, shame on SW fan) will not determine eco system on the planet. Go check out some of the most famous books called "Red Mars", "Green Mars", "Blue Mars". Everything about a planet can easily be changed through technology. Deserts, Atmosphere, Ice Caps, etc... everything except distance from the star/sun/sol/estrellia
Find a planet that is already the right distance from a star, and it can be inhabited. No matter how hostile it's ecosystem might at first be. Technology exists to tame it.

And like it or not, that is just some of the playstyles of a MMORPG. A sizeable number of players don't make it high priority to make their bars bigger, their numbers higher, or in killing.
And like it or not, many MMORPGs have different intentions, target markets, as well as game mechanics and game features.
A MMORPG might be intended to be PvE, but PvP players will still play. They shouldn't be surprised if they don't like the game though since they are not the intended target market.

Then start bothering Microsoft and Turbine and stop bothering AC2 players (present and future) on this forum. Do you really think MS or Turbine will take notice if you spam this forum?
I also hate games full of bugs. But AC2 is now a great game without bugs worth playing and paying for. If you don't believe me download 15 day free trial.

I'm not trying to imply there is something wrong with that playstyle. I think of myself as a power player. You pay your share to play every month if you want to be an elf, hell it's your money.

I certainly will, I came back after a few months break and I'm having a blast.

I'm afraid you will have to accept that AC2 is out there and it's gonna be for a while. Turbine is buying it from MS and they wouldnt do it if they had plans to close it up.
There is another company relasing unfinished MMORPG in horrible state and without customer support, we all know what company I'm talking about go pick up on them. Fact that they have more subscribers than AC2 makes even more ridiculous.
Whether you like it or not Turbine financially stands very well. Same engine they use for AC2 will be used in MEO. That title alone guarantee huge profit.
"I will not let them alone in peace. I'm going to keep on making sure it gets noticed."
I think you have some issues, go seek counceling maybe. I'm serious man this is kinda scary, are you gonna start throving molotov coctails on turbine building if they keep developing AC2?

Ready? All modern science was once Science Fiction. If 200 years ago you walked around saying "Man will one day landn on the moon!" you would've been branded a loony. And even Tarred and Feathered. Man landing on the moon was science fiction. Even as recently as the early 1900's.
Life as we know it can only exist in certain environment, and I'm talking ANY lifeform not HUMAN life.
Ahhh... and I am talking about Human life. What good is it if a cockroach or scorpion, or a virus, can have fun and raise a family on some planet if Humans can't exist there?
There is a theory based on recent NASA experiments. Some scientists belive life began somwhere in interstellar universe and came to earth in form of primitive cells carried by comet or other space object. Exactly! Theories are Science Fiction. They are not 100.100% F A C T. All modern science start out as science ficiton.
Are we talking science or are we talking science fiction.
Science comes from Science Fiction. Computers, Airplanes, rocketships, going into space, lasers, cloning, etc.. etc...
Red Mars is a science fiction history about colonization of Mars. Science is stretched in this book and shows how Mars can be terraformed and become colonized planet. This is PURE science fiction.
Those books were written after consultation with many scientists in related fields covered in those books.
And it is NOT "pure" science fiction. ALL the technology mentioned in those books are available right now 2004. In fact, it has been available since 1990.
The problem, or thing that needs to be "found" or "created" is this:
Nations working together. Commitment. TEAMWORK.
Even in just 1 country, the USA, there is no commitment, or Teamwork. Congress won't blink an eye to print an extra 500 million to give to Bush to wage more war. But to spend that, or to print up another 500 million,..... on space, and possibly finding new metals? (And even new life even if it's not Human), New food? New colonies for the Human population?
There is a theory that Mars COULD be colonized, we still dont know enough about Mars to say definetly yes or not. We havent got technology to do such operation, there is ALOT more questions than answers. What we know for sure is we can not colonize mars, not in next 10 years not in next 100 years either.
Dude, Mars has already been colonized.
1. In the 1980's a Soviet probe sent to check out the 2 Alien spaceships (to the public they were called moons) that have been orbiting Mars since the 1800's found a city, as well as a Mothership docking with one of the "moons" of mars (a grand mothership). After sending back pictures it got blasted to pieces in space by a missile from oen of the "moons" of mars.
Since mid 2003, the two "moons" of Mars have been missing. There is no debris. Nothing. A moon does not vanish. Let alone 2 moons.
2. Go into any collage in your country. Walk up to any science teacher. And say this to them:
"Hi, I've heard reports that the 2 moons of Mars are now missing and cannot be found as of mid 2003. Is this true? Where did the 2 moons orbiting Mars go to?"
If they smile and turn away, or refuse to answer you, or play dumb and say "huh?" ask this same question to more science teachers. Go to some more collages. If there's and observatory in your state even better. They are less likely to play dumb.
** Extra credit: Ask them why the Moon orbiting Earth is the only planetoid in our solar system that does NOT rotate.
Why do you think Bush is 'suddently' out of the blue intrested in Mars?
3. More food for thought. Walk up to your Father. (Or if anyone in your family over age 45 who owns a HAM radio even better!) and say this:
"Hi Dad, what's up? How are you doing?
I have a question. Do you remember when Neil Armstrong landed on the Moon? Yes? Cool.
I heard that thousands of Americans with HAM radios were also able to get direct transmissions from the channel Neil used. Is this true? Yes? Cool.
Did those HAM radio operaters in their homes, basements, and garages, recieve certain transmissions from Neil Armstrong that were censored by NASA? What else did Neil say when he landed on the moon? Was it something about what he saw on the Dark Side of the Moon?
Find a planet that is already the right distance from a star, and it can be inhabited. No matter how hostile it's ecosystem might at first be. Technology exists to tame it.
Rubbish, we havent even got technology to take man to mars and back in one piece. Terraforming is pure science fiction.
LOL! What is sooo hard about sending a Man to Mars? The technology has existed since 1983 when the first spaceshuttle was made. It definatly existed since 1990 when all other indirect technology was "brought up to par".
Fuel is only needed to escape Earth's atmosphere. And possibly to avoid any space debris. The distance away means nill. Mars comes as close as roughly 35 million miles to Earth. A skip and a hop. Meaning a Man can easily survive, and live long enough to make the trip.
As for terraforming Mars... every single thing told in those above mentioned books have already been done on Earth. And the Technology exists right now to deliver the payloads to Mars, and to do it on Mars.

In a nutshell, the people of Naboo have spacetravel. They used their technology to teraform Rori. Since their homeplanet was closest by, they took plant and animal samples from it to Rori. Thus, Rori looks very simular to Naboo.
Enough my rambling xplororor I told you once dont make idiot of yourself if you want post something think about it hard and long and then turn of computer.
I never called you any names. Why do you keep calling me names?
Keep it comming xplororor I'm starting to enjoy it.
My computer on relase was berely meeting minimum requirements, I had no problems with graphics and performance. All my online friends who moved to AC2 from AC were saying the same, engine was very demanding but if you tweaked setting all was ok. Maybe you set up your graph settings too high?
SWG has far higher and more demanding minimum requirements than AC2 did and does. And my computer at work easily runs it. My computer at home can still run it with the settings lowered a bit.
As I said, check out the links in my sig as proof my computer (the one at home) was very easily able to meet the minimum requirements of AC2. The problems I encountered during game play were the result of the game being too incompleated.
I'm afraid you will have to accept that AC2 is out there and it's gonna be for a while. Turbine is buying it from MS and they wouldnt do it if they had plans to close it up.
I will continue making sure the past history of AC2 is not forgotten. Nor it's current history, and how far, far from financially successfull it is.
There is another company relasing unfinished MMORPG in horrible state and without customer support, we all know what company I'm talking about go pick up on them. Fact that they have more subscribers than AC2 makes even more ridiculous.
I've already "picked on them". But they have their own forums, and Official Site. This forum is for "picking on" this game.
Whether you like it or not Turbine financially stands very well. Same engine they use for AC2 will be used in MEO. That title alone guarantee huge profit.
Turbine is doing ok. They have the still profitable AC , as well as a Multi-Billion parent company that's suppose to be backing them up.
MEO... where is it? Not in Alpha, not in Beta, not released. Not even listed at MMORPG.com
"I will not let them alone in peace. I'm going to keep on making sure it gets noticed."
I think you have some issues, go seek counceling maybe. I'm serious man this is kinda scary, are you gonna start throving molotov coctails on turbine building if they keep developing AC2?
Hmmm... nice idea you gave me.
and uh, you play too much computer games, try some sport maybe.
After I post proof that I actually play these games I comment (good or bad comments) on, this is your response? Stop playing those game! Heheh.
BTW, I'm in perfectly nice health. Not your "avg looking gamer" with pale skin, thick glasses, in a small room with fingertips glued to a keyboard. Heheh.

Is it amount of time you spent with the computer made you belive in UFO, dissapearing moons of Mars and terraforming? Contact your school psuchiatrist and tell him what you saying on this board maybe he can help you before is too late. Looks like you loosing the grip dude.

Ready? All modern science was once Science Fiction. If 200 years ago you walked around saying "Man will one day landn on the moon!" you would've been branded a loony. And even Tarred and Feathered. Man landing on the moon was science fiction. Even as recently as the early 1900's.
Maybe modern science was once science fiction (it wasnt but it doesnt matter) but it doesnt mean all science fiction will be science one day.
Life as we know it can only exist in certain environment, and I'm talking ANY lifeform not HUMAN life.
Ahhh... and I am talking about Human life. What good is it if a cockroach or scorpion, or a virus, can have fun and raise a family on some planet if Humans can't exist there?
Any lifeform include humans. If no life can exist, no human life can exist. You are confused, go reread our discusion.
There is a theory based on recent NASA experiments. Some scientists belive life began somwhere in interstellar universe and came to earth in form of primitive cells carried by comet or other space object. If that is true then it is possible that similar cells were "seeded" somwhere else in universe. Thjose cells leter developed first forms of "life" as we know it (not only human life but plants, trees, bacterias, elephants, viruses, it's all lifeforms).
Exactly! Theories are Science Fiction. They are not 100.100% F A C T. All modern science start out as science ficiton.
Not all modern science starts as science fiction. Thery and sciance fiction are 2 completely different things. Please dont mix science and fantasy.
Are we talking science or are we talking science fiction.
Science comes from Science Fiction.
100% false statement. Science fiction can inspire scientist to do research in one particular direction but in no way is it helpfull, its actually opposite, fiction can missguide.
It is PURE science fiction. There are theories and thats not technology. We havent got technology to save our own little planet (Earth)we can not even dream about terraforming.
I wont comment on those statements you are obviously very young and naive. Your enthusiasm is typical for young age, but belive me it is not as simple as you think it is. No serious and self respected scientist on this planet will say that we have technology to terraform Mars. Truth of the matter is we dont know that just yet, current mars expedidtion may bring some more answers to wheter Mars colonization is possible or not. But at the moment we just dont know anough.
Ok I wont even comment on this and below paragraphs regarding mars moons and other fantasy rubbish. It just proves that all mine effort to carry on serious discussion with you is wasted.
1. In the 1980's ...
...dumb.
** Extra credit: Ask them why the Moon orbiting Earth is the only planetoid in our solar system that does NOT rotate.
Actually you are 100% wrong on it, our moon does rotate, thats why we only see one side of it.
Why do you think Bush is 'suddently' out of the blue intrested in Mars?
No I think he saw UFO there and wants to say hello. /e sarcasm off
3. More food for thought. Walk up to your Father. (Or if anyone in your family over age 45 who owns a HAM radio even better!) and say this:
"Hi Dad, what's up? How are you doing?
I have a question. Do you remember when Neil Armstrong landed on the Moon? Yes? Cool.
I dont have to ask my father I do remember when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon.
Serious discussion is only possible if both sides are serious.
We have no way to land shuttle on mars and no tech to start from mars. There is nowhere to land on and nowhere to start from. In real life space shuttle does not start and land everywhere like it does in SW move you know?
Fuel is only needed to escape Earth's atmosphere. And possibly to avoid any space debris. The distance away means nill. Mars comes as close as roughly 35 million miles to Earth. A skip and a hop. Meaning a Man can easily survive, and live long enough to make the trip.
Uhm not quite, "Beagle" was on the way to Mars for 4 years, so its no quite "A skip and a hop." No man was in space for longer that long. How would 4 year long space travel affect human we basically dont know. It might be possible to deliver human to Mars, we will be unable however to bring him back. Bush Announced 30 year long program leading to achieving such a thing. Maybe, just maybe in 30 years wy succedd and man will land on mars. Today its impossible.
As for terraforming Mars... every single thing told in those above mentioned books have already been done on Earth. And the Technology exists right now to deliver the payloads to Mars, and to do it on Mars.
We dont even know how to stop global warming on earth, how can we possibly dream about terraforming other planets. In theory and only in theory, under very specific circumstances it is possible to terraform planet.
here is another one:
And how will you explain that mr cosmologist, flower seed were blown with the wind from the planet across the space and end up on the moon?
It was already explained in the old SWG forums Rori's history.
Fantasy again, make up your mind if you want talking fantasy I will shut up and let you indulge yourself in your imaginary knowledge.

Keep it comming xplororor I'm starting to enjoy it.
I am enjoying it too.
You are either troll and just pulling my leg or very young person who lives 50% in fantasy world. Either way it would be alot more fun if you made and effort to keep it serious.

*Sigh*
It no longer matters now the bugs I experienced in AC2 during its first 6 months of release. I am very sure they have been fixed now. I am sure monsters no longer die and their corpse float in the air. Or that the game engine stops drawing the game world while oen is running along.
BTW, I even posted my problems on the Official AC2 forums. The AC2 game DEVs never told me my machine did NOT meet the AC2 specs.
I'm afraid you will have to accept that AC2 is out there and it's gonna be for a while. Turbine is buying it from MS and they wouldnt do it if they had plans to close it up.
Yes you are right AC2 will not die a quick death. And I will continue never allowing AC2 and its past, or present, be forgotten. Heck, this may even FORCE Turbine to actually do real work on MEO and DnD Online.
As for why Turbine is buying AC2 back from MS? Who knows. Maybe MS wants to just plain get rid of AC2 from its holdings. Either way yes I am happy Turbine will go back to being 100% full owners of AC2. But Turbine is still in the PROCESS of buying back AC2. They should finnish the deal within 1 year I would think and hope.
Ahh thats becouse they moderate their forums, Even if you want to ramble there you cant. Do they have something to hide?
I've been on their Official forums since right after they went up back in November 1999. I stopped lurking around Febuary 2000. No you can't ramble there. But you can constructivly criticize. This means;
1. Tell what the problem is. Without cussing, namecalling, spamming, and flaming.
2. Tell what you think is the solution, or solutions.
Simple and easy enough. I've had the SWG DEVs and MODs directly answer my criticisms and posts many times. As well they have answered the posts of other posters many times. Moreso in the old SWG forums back when there were roughly 100,000 people posting. Now in the new SWG forums there are over 300,000 people posting, so it takes a bit longer for them to 'get around'.
But they do still care about the game. They do still listen to constructive criticism.
You didnt do your homework, AC franchise (AC & AC2) is not backed up by anyone. Turbine bought back whole business from MS. Details below.
As I replied in another thread to you in which you mention this same thing, Turbine is planning to buy back AC2. The article you mention ..... (here is a much more direct link to it:)
Says the following if one reads ALL of it to the END:
"""However this transition will take several months to complete."""
"""Microsoft will continue to own authentication and billing for the entire franchise for the foreseeable future."""
The date of this article is December 2003. A solid 1 month ago. Several months have not passed. MS still owns the AC franchise, but plans to sell it back to Turbine. Right now MS controlls the money, accounts, moneyflow of the AC franchise.
MEO... where is it? Not in Alpha, not in Beta, not released. Not even listed at MMORPG.com
I suggest do some research before you write such an idiotic statement. Details below.
MEO = initials for Lord of the Rings : Middle Earth Online.
I had long ago heard about Lord of the Rings Online. I just did not know it's new initials are 'MEO'. MEO is very likely in Alpha by now. But not in Beta. And definatly not near release.
Is it amount of time you spent with the computer made you belive in UFO, dissapearing moons of Mars and terraforming? Contact your school psuchiatrist and tell him what you saying on this board maybe he can help you before is too late. Looks like you loosing the grip dude.
Heheh. Believe what you want. After all, everyone must make their own choice. Everyone must do their own through research....
According to Neil Armstrong the Aliens have a base on the Moon and wanted us to get off and stay off the Moon.
"""""""from the Book "Above Top Secret" by Timothy Good
both Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin saw UFOs shortly after that historic landing on the Moon in Apollo 11 on 21 July 1969.
Apollo11: These "Babies" are huge, Sir! Enormous! OH MY GOD! You wouldn't believe it! I'm telling you there are other spacecraft out there, Lined up on the far side of the crater edge! They're on the Moon watching us!
In 1979 Maurice Chatelain, former chief of NASA Communications Systems confirmed that Armstrong had indeed reported seeing two UFOs on the rim of a crater. "The encounter was common knowledge in NASA," he revealed, "but nobody has talked about it until now."
Maurice Chatelain also confirmed that Apollo 11's radio transmissions were interrupted on several occasions in order to hide the news from the public. Before dismissing Chatelain's sensational claims, it is worth noting his impressive background in the aerospace industry and space program. His first job after moving from France was as an electronics engineer with Convair, specializing in telecommunications, telemetry and radar.
In 1959 he was in charge of an electromagnetic research group, developing new radar and telecommunications systems for Ryan. One of his eleven patents was an automatic radar landing system that ignited retro rockets at a given altitude, used in the Ranger and Surveyor flights to the Moon.
Later, at North American Aviation, Chatelain was offered the job of designing and building the Apollo communications and data-processing systems.
Chatelain claims that "all Apollo and Gemini flights were followed, both at a distance and sometimes also quite closely, by space vehicles of extraterrestrial origin - flying saucers, or UFOs, if you want to call them by that name. Every time it occurred, the astronauts informed Mission Control, who then ordered absolute silence." He goes on to say:
"I think that Walter Schirra aboard Mercury 8 was the first of the astronauts to use the code name 'Santa Claus' to indicate the presence of flying saucers next to space capsules. However, his announcements were barely noticed by the general public. It was a little different when James Lovell on board the Apollo 8 command module came out from behind the moon and said for everybody to hear: 'PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS.' Even though this happened on Christmas Day 1968, many people sensed a hidden meaning in those words."
Armstrong confirmed that the story was true but refused to go into further detail, beyond admitting that the CIA was behind the cover-up.""""""
Mars has 2 Moons or "moons". The history of these 2 moons has been unusual since they were first "discovered" in the 1800's. Professional Astronomers worldwide in the 1800's studied Mars intensly, but never found any moons. Near the end of the 1800's , a beginner astronomer accidently found 2 moons orbiting Mars. No one could explain how they came to be, and why no one was able to clearly see them before.
- July 1988 Soviet Union launched 2 probes to study Mars, and one of its moons Phobos. Right after launch, 1 probe malfunctioned due to human and computer error. Leaving 1 probe left to continue to Mars and its moon Phobos.
- January 1989 The Soviet probe reaches Mars. [Hey! Took only 6 months instead of 4 years! Heheh ]
- March 25, 1989 Date Soviet probe started scanning one of the moons of mars, Phobos. Date Soviet probe was destroyed by missile from Phobos.
- November 22, 1991 Larry King Show "Larry King Live" makes this story public for the first time ever. And showcases ALL the pictures the Soviet probe took before it got destroyed by a missile from 'Phobos'.
- One picture clearly shows an immense object rising from Mars, enroute to Phobos. The object is miles and miles long, and is entering Phobos. A mothership docking with some kind of grand mothership.
- One picture clearly shows a city on Mars. (not as big as say... New York) but larger than an outpost, village, town, .... large enough to fit the definition of a city.
- In the early fall of 2003, both moons of Mars dissappeared. Not a single astronomer worldwide can explain. (Well they can, but they don't want to say it in public and risk losing their cushy jobs, and pay heheh. Or recieve a visit from some guys wearing dark sunglasses.)
- Suddently publicly, President Bush, who before expressed no intrest in increasing NASA's budget.... starts talking about sending more probes, and men, to Mars. He suddently has an incredible intrest in Mars.
- Like I said, walk onto any collage campus, visit any science teacher, (prefrebly a phyics, or astronomy, teacher) and simply say to them "Now about those 2 moons of Mars? Is it true they no longer orbit Mars anymore? Is it true they both can no longer be found?"
Maybe modern science was once science fiction (it wasnt but it doesnt matter) but it doesnt mean all science fiction will be science one day.
BINGO! There we go! We both agree! Even if your hesitating in agreeing with me, you still agree.
My point was all modern science was once science fiction. I've never said the opposite that all science fiction will be science once day.
Any lifeform include humans. If no life can exist, no human life can exist. You are confused, go reread our discusion.
Untrue!
There are lifeforms even on earth that exist in areas no Human can exist. The same is possible on other planets - that there can be life, but no Human life. Cockroaches and Scorpoins can survive in extreemly hostile enviorments that Humans cannot survive in.
There are strange creatures that have been found in the deepest depths of the oceans. Some are unusual fish, plants, and some are new species. They are 100% transparient. Some even glow.
Some forms of Viruses can survive in even more extreem enviorments. They have been found in volcanic lava. They have been found in the deepest depths of the Ocean.
There are even smaller lifeforms called PRIONs that can exist in even more extreemly hostile enviorments. Prions almost can't be killed.
100% false statement. Science fiction can inspire scientist to do research in one particular direction but in no way is it helpfull, its actually opposite, fiction can missguide.
This quote of yours says 2 things and both are opposite. You say SF can be helpfull, then you say SF can be harmfull.
It is PURE science fiction. There are theories and thats not technology. We havent got technology to save our own little planet (Earth)we can not even dream about terraforming.
LOL! Earth does not need any 'saving'. You mean saving the Humans. Earth will always be around no matter what Humans do. Humans might make it too hostle for THEM to live on, but Earth will still be around. The same way Neptune is too hostile for Humans to live on, but it is still around. Or Mercury is too Hostile for Humans to live on, but it is still around.
And yes Man currently has the technology to teraform MARS. I'm not talking about any other planet. Just Mars.
You tell me this -
What is there that you think current technology is missing that makes it impossible to terraform Mars?
The problem, or thing that needs to be "found" or "created" is this:
Nations working together. Commitment. TEAMWORK.
I wont comment on those statements you are obviously very young and naive. Your enthusiasm is typical for young age, but belive me it is not as simple as you think it is.
You know I'm right. Nations will not work together. Even in the USA, just 1 country, to get itself to work together is near-impossible. Now, IF Nations did work together, IF the USA goverment threw the same $$$ towards the space program that it easily throws to use in war....
I am 'mature' enough to know it is unlikely Nations will ever work together, or that the USA goverment will ever choose investing in the space program over investing in more war.
No serious and self respected scientist on this planet will say that we have technology to terraform Mars.
I will leave this where it is beteen us. I say and believe the technology exists now to allow man to live on Mars. But that the teamwork does not exist.
You believe the technology, and teamwork do not exist.
At least we fully agree on one part.
What we know for sure is we can not colonize mars, not in next 10 years not in next 100 years either.
1. Bush has PUBLICALLY said 5 to 10 years from now Man can be put on Mars.
2. Major rule of thumb... ALL technology made public, has in private (aka what the goverment knows) been used and perfected YEARS before and prior.
For Bush to strongly say with conviction man on Mars 5 to 10 years from now, means the technology exists right now for Man on Mars.
Actually you are 100% wrong on it, our moon does rotate, thats why we only see one side of it.
Yeah, technically our Moon rotates around the SUN. But it should rotate around EARTH, while rotating around the Sun at the same time.
All other moons in the solar system rotate around their planets, as well as around the Sun.
No I think he saw UFO there and wants to say hello. /e sarcasm off
He sure did see a UFO. He also saw spaceships. He also saw the pictures from the Soviet probe right before it got blasted to pieces. He is also aware of what Neil Armstrong saw, and heard... along with thousands of Americans who had HAM radios.
I dont have to ask my father I do remember when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon.
I heard that thousands of Americans with HAM radios were also able to get direct transmissions from the channel Neil used. Is this true? Yes? Cool.

Well? Did you have a HAM radio when you saw Armstrong land on the moon? Did any of your friends have HAM radios? Find them. Call them up! Ask them what they heard on their HAM radios!

*sigh*
Please re-read where I said Mars comes as CLOSE as 35 million miles away. Mars also goes as far away as over 100 million miles away. It does not orbit the Sun at the same speed as Earth does.
In July 1988 the Soviets launched a probe to Mars. It reached Mars in January 1989. It took 6 months.
Members of the millitary have survived months in cramped quarters aboard Submarines during war, and peace. Also the guys who are in charge of launching Nukes during the Cold war spent months and months in cramped quarters. Man can easily spend 6 months, or even more than 6 months, traveling to Mars. Even if the first man to orbit Mars never lands, he can survive a round trip to Mars and back, as long as he has enough fuel to escape his Orbit of Mars.
It might be possible to deliver human to Mars, we will be unable however to bring him back.
BINGO! There ya go you are starting to see the light. I agree, bringing a man back would be harder to do. Perhaps sending a second man with extra fuel, or a remote controlled ship with extra fuel would be part of the equation of bringing the 1st man back.
Bush Announced 30 year long program leading to achieving such a thing. Maybe, just maybe in 30 years wy succedd and man will land on mars. Today its impossible.
Hah, and a few posts you said it would be 100 years before a man could be sent to Mars.
Do you think 29 years from now suddently a new invention will occur that will allow man to go to Mars 30 years from now? What is different between year 29 and year 30? year 15 and year 30? What is sooo different between right now and 30 years from now?
What is it that we don't have right now that we will have 30 years from now?
In theory and only in theory, under very specific circumstances it is possible to terraform planet.
I will leave it there. At least we are heading towards each other in agreeing.
Again you calling fantasy science. Above planets exist only in SW universe. In SW universe EVERYTHING is possible.
My comments about Star Wars was in direct answer to your comments and claims that 'every planet in SWG looks the same'.
My comments about SW were NOT related to my comments about Mars, and sending a man there.

I am sorry but I wont be discussing serious topics with someone who belives in UFO landing on moon (why not on Earth is much bigger and environmentaly friendly for life) dissapearing moons on Mars, and other funny things from fantasy books.
When you grow up xplororor you will look back on things you writing now and say "I cant belive I was so stupid." But we have to wait for it for few years.
Tell the world to do not look for life in universe becouse there are aliens on moon and mars, why look in other galaxies just look on nearby planet lol.

For the same reasons early earth explores ventured far from home. They are not intrested in life, making friends, or finding new life. They are more intrested in materials, metals, etc. Just like Columbus, Ponce De Leon, etc... were intrested in materials, metals.
Earth has nothing any spacefaring civilization from far away could possibly want. Humans? F--- them! Humans mean absolutly nothing to any, all, and other, far away civilizations. They could care less if good things or bad things happen to us. The only possilble thing that would get them intrested in Humans... is if Humans interferred with their mining operations in our solar system.

I am sure there are collages, and observatories in whatever country you live in. I am sure you have a car, or access to public transportation. Take up my challenge. Or maybe you are afraid what you will find out? Heheh. It would mess around with your idea of the universe

I'll be around 5 to 30 years from now when Bush puts a man on Mars as he has publically said he would. I've already talked to people who are age 45 and older who had HAM radios. So I am fine with what I know, investigated, and believe in.
Tell the world to do not look for life in universe becouse there are aliens on moon and mars, why look in other galaxies just look on nearby planet lol.
Well? Do you celebrate Christmas? Do you go to church? Are you part of a religion? Then you belive in aliens. Is God from earth? Were the Angels originaly from earth? Technically God, Jesus, the Angels, the Demons (no they don't have red skin, or horns. Demons are simply good Angels gone bad), Satan.... are all aliens. None of them were born on Earth.
And if you're an Evolutionist..... you know the rest.
Our solar system is filled with planets full of untold resources. Metals, liquids, gases, fuels, etc....
Take up my challenge.... I dare ya, I double dare ya.
And Santa Clause is an alien too. As some general said you can't win the war against people who shoot arrows at tanks.

Xploror, you should really stop watching TV and stop browsing the web for a while. You're a fine example what can too much (questionable) information do to a naive mind.

AC2 was 10% completed at release???
10% of MMORPG is only the initial idea, some lore and maybe some conceptional art. So you played a game without game engine, without online world, without any races, without any skills, without any mobs, without any NPCs, without UI....

About exploits....
I've said:
There were no hacks, cheats and exploits possible in the last 6 months.

SWG has no content and this is opinion of thousands of people who quit SWG and still trying to "play" this "game".
Now my favourite thanks xplororor I may use it as a sig some day:
Distance from the star wont even determine average temperature on the panet not even talking about eco system.
here is another one:
"...Rori and Naboo are even more closely related because Rori is a moon of Naboo..."
And how will you explain that mr cosmologist, flower seed were blown with the wind from the planet across the space and end up on the moon?
Enough my rambling xplororor I told you once dont make idiot of yourself if you want post something think about it hard and long and then turn of computer.

Entico,
First of all, enough about SWG aka Star Wars Galaxies.
