I started a thread about this a few months ago. Here is a copy of the initial post and a link to the original thread. These offers were legitimate as of 11/20/2003.
It appears that several MMOGs have decided to offer free trials to allow users to decide whether they like the game before plunking down $30+ for the software. I was hoping maybe we could get a thread started that lists those games with links to the sites. Here are the ones I know:
