    EVE online and Anarchy Online have downloadable trials I believe...honestly too busy to look for more

    DAoC has one, 5 days I think, but I think you need to buy the lastest copy of PCgamer to get it?

    Shadow Bane has a trial you can D/L from there website.

    A tale in the desert lets you play 24 hours of game time for free. D/L from their web site.

    Lineage has one.

    planetside has a downloadable 30 day trial at planetside.com but you must have win xp for the trial to work

    It also has a 7 day trial if you don't have XP I believe

    EVE Online does not have a trial.

    Ultima Online has a 15 day one

    Ah, my mistake. It's just downloadable with 30 days if you pay for it

    I started a thread about this a few months ago.  Here is a copy of the initial post and a link to the original thread.  These offers were legitimate as of 11/20/2003.

    It appears that several MMOGs have decided to offer free trials to allow users to decide whether they like the game before plunking down $30+ for the software.  I was hoping maybe we could get a thread started that lists those games with links to the sites.  Here are the ones I know:

     This is great, my friends looking for one he can just download. Right now i gave him Planeshift but he told me theres not much content in it still...

    there is a 7 days trial of european everquest original. dont remember where to get it thou
