I think my first imperial encounter ( NPC type ) was out cruising around on Rori and all of a sudden my speederbike was 30 meters away and I was on my feet. Looked around and seen this probot hovering by me so checked the chat box to see what happened. Apparently it was a contraband inspection. After I was cleared to go I figured I would blast the probot and be on my way. Well I missed a couple times too many and the probot got out of range after which maybe 10 seconds later I seen one of the big imperial transports land a few dozen meters off and stormtroopers where actually disembarking from the transport. The whole time I was thinking "wow this is friggin nifty". I found out they were there because the probot signaled them somehow and then they promptly blasted me back to the cloning facility. Even though I got smoked by stormtroopers for making a newb mistake it was worth the price of admission.

I was just wondering about where all the Ranger,Creature handlers and Bio engineers went? I have heard about a Ranger forum..but I cant find it.
I have also tought about..where did Fencer,Swordsman,Tera kasi and Pikeman go? I always tough Swordsman,Fencer and Pikeman was a sort of Wookiee profession. Wookiees with blasters never really did much sense to me. A Wookiee with big a** sword,axe,pike or crossbow was much more true to the lore to me. What do you think?

this is really a great post... what happened to this game is absurd. all the things you talk about, creature AI and stuff...
NGE is so totally broken, its really not funny. if you look at creatures now they don't even animate right let alone do things thoughtfully. like the fambaa that warps 60m drops to the ground in 2 shots without a fall then stands up again and falls over.. pack animals and characters swarming onto each other... the "new" game is a shameful hacked up mess of code -- worse than beta.
you should join the movement on 6/1 to get a classic server back.. its our only hope, your words are not being listened to...
That's cos you can take the Ranger out of the game, but you can't take the game out of the Ranger, or something like that...

Creature AI. Oh yes... remember when the mother animals would protect the babies? Scout creatures were just plain aggressive, regardless of your 'level'...
damn they threw so many babies out with that bathwater
