The threads are like that anytime they release an update though once it goes live we all know the BOOOING starts. Its always been that way and always will be.
It was meant to be very sarcastic. I have friends trying to play on TC2 who are having terrible problems with bugs, the frogs are not working (or the lag is so bad they can't get them to work), the location of the frogs was bad and they were moving them, and if you read through ... everyone could get armor to test but Jedi couldn't get robes to test with, resources were not activated, and it doesn't do much good to craft a lightsaber if there are no pearls or crystals available to put in them. I don't know ... sounds great to me! LOL
As for me, my last account runs out this week and I'm in the middle of rebuilding my machine or I'd go take a look around.
Only thing I want to add to this is I find it really sad that a game that has been out this long is still trying to figure out what it wants to be and make it work. Hell, AO had one of the worst launches ever and it's working well now. Come play SWG, the world's first mmorpg with multiple personalities.
A lot of people are quick to compare AO to SWG, but keep one very critical thing in mind:
AO has never had a total combat revamp. SWG has had three.

That's kind of the point, I only used AO because I played it for awhile and it had a REAL bad release. Ok, take eve, DAoC, EQ, any older successful mmorpg. They all had an idea, had the bugs, worked on them, balanced and tweaked, and (most of all) got it to work. Sure things in them have changed, but the basics is the same and they work well now out of the box. SWG is all over the spectrum of what it is and if you wait awhile it will be something different again. Where's it been? Where's it going? What's the plan for this game? Who knows! Before a RPG, now FPS, maybe next month it will be a RTS! The sky's the limit so strap yourself in for one weird ass magical mystery ride! Meanwhile smugglers are smuggling squat, entertainers do... something... no one's really sure exactly besides being a throwback, those good old bugs, and I remember before release some talk on a GCW...
