I mean no offence or disrespect towards calling the Guild ]V[, but in my opinion, AND THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, I find it... Childish, meaningless and just "bleh". Has no meaning. it's like someone's trying to turn a Guild into a Clan-Guild. anywho, that's just my two cent input. Take it as you will, I am only expressing my opinion.
oh, and Paradigm is a cool name, but if you're thinking of calling it CK-One, I'll hurt you

Now, lets not get to hasty. First off, a Guild name is somewhat vital, especially in the Guilds begining stages. Murt has a good idea on the poles. You can start a guild and call it whatever you want, but if you put a little thought and meaning into the name, it will boost the amount of people that wants to join.
for example: I played on SWG, and nearly every server, KOTOR Guild could be found, and nearly all the rebels wanted to join. Just the name alone can be just as powerful as the guild it could be.
I could understand why you would be upset if you had already decided on a Guild name, gotten a Guild forum rolling or possibly in development, but from what I gather, there's been some issues with what forum to go with.
A) Find a Forum
Call it what you may
C) post invitations, request interviews or even have them post a resume for employment
D) whatever you see fit.
I've helped build Guilds before, great guilds, guilds with potential. Nothing comes out perfect, and there will always be a bad seed in every group. All that WE have to do is get things rolling. Again, I'm only voicing my opinion on this situation, I'm not trying to be a nefarious SOB and ruin your plans. All I'm suggesting is that there be a little more thought put into a guild that wants a future... AND i'm not saying that you guys don't have one... just to that clear.

Yordo, what's the problem at looking at your options? Murt just posted an idea, he didn't say "guys, I've decide we're going to be called 'This'". He offered everyone a pole. I see no harm in such a thing. If no one takes it serious, fine. No one should lose sleep over some who's expandiing his view about the guild. I'm not here to cause everyone's panties and or jockstraps to ride there crack, I'm here to voice what I think. And I don't want any bad blood either.
Murt, I looked on Proboards and EzBoards and attempted to start a Forum. However Paradigm was taken. I did this just incase someone else thought of it first, but unfortunitally, Paradigm was someone elses idea.
how about MITHRIL Tower? or Sions of Norrath? Rising Phenix? Guardians of Norrath? Quier as Qeynos? Elite Cursaders? Momma's Addicts? Black Isle (I was part of this guild back in the day, before BI was bought out)? I have tons of other names I can think of. just an idea.

First of all Dakkanon, you have just started posting for this guild in the past few days...take a look back on all of the other posts and you will see how many name polls and posts we have done. Just because you came along late, that doesn't mean we have to start everything over for you.
