Dnt ya just hate that wen people call you a noob? heck some people saying it dnt even no wot it means , but seriusly NEVER SAY IT! it makes you sound stuck up and like u overplay , it dosnt give that all knowing impression you think it does , just stop saying it , if someone asks a seemingly stupid q at the time uhhh i dunno maybe they dont no the answer because they justs tarted playing! so wot we all started playing sometime and we all asked those qeustions once
please game devlopers make the mmorpg world a better place and ban anyone calling people noobs

Maybe they should filter it out so it comes up with "I say good fellow your lack of experiance with this particular matter really displeases me"

The term "noob" is overly used.
People just seem to think they can call someone a "noob" just because they might not know something or arent particulary good at the game.
Sometimes i think people forget that "noob" actually means newbie.
Edit: lol. When i read it back through im just making a point that the person they are calling a "noob" is in-fact a newbie.
Further edit: People usually tend to call people "noobs" because they dislike them. When someone calls me a "noob" i just ignore them, the word doesnt mean anything to me apart from tells me that that person thinks they know everything. If anyone is a "noob" i think its the people who call people "noobs"
But yeah, seriously, I hate that word. Thankfully you won't find it very often outside the 'kiddy' MMOs. (Wow, Runescape,GW etc)
Unfortuneatly not true my man , in FoM it is non stop PvP u cant turn it off but people are ruder in that then any other game ive played lol it works perfectly in theory but unfortuneatly it dosnt work

And again another great example of what im talking about (above again) i new when i was writing this post that i would either get alot of hassle from people who call others noobs purley because they havnt played a game as long as they have or they would all see the error of there ways and noob would be a word of the past but obvoiously the last one wasnt gonna happen , well at least now we all no the people on this website that call others noobs......

And are seriously over sensitive to ppl calling you nOOb. Just look at how u are reacting to ppls posts/coments.
Someone calling you nOOb is nothing to cry about. Its just as childish as kids going "I know you are but what am I?" argument, or "Takes one to know one.".

No. It's like saying to someone in real life, "you are a noob." Anytime you join a new community you will get this, in real life and in game.
At a new school you will be branded a noob. Because you are.
In a new job people will make lots of "first day?" jokes when you make mistakes.
There is no need to start slapping people around. When you are a noob, you are a noob. Everyone is a noob at first. Get used to it. Learn to enjoy it even. A humble noob learns faster than an arrogant noob who thinks he knows it all already.
We are all born ignorant. Everyone of us. If you think you are worthy of higher respect, you are delusional.
Rants aside, I understand that rude people may use this word to denigrate others, but then they could use any word they liked to be rude to you. Why single out the word "noob".

This is the most obvious and blatant troll thread I've ever seen in my life. I'm suprised more people haven't noticed it. He has the word in his name.
I fink its fairly obvious here that your one of these people that call people noobs and such but this is not purely about being called noobs i mean is it just pure coisidence that the sort of people that call people noobs are also the type that ruin games for others i know i have sed this in this post before but noone seems to have read it but if games got rid off "noob-callers" they would create a much nicer friendlyier attitude for those playing and i dont no about you but i would stay wit a game for longer if it ahd this friendly attitude as one of you sed calling someone a noob is intended as an insult because most are filltered , this is true and this is one reason i think they should get abnned or it and all veriation should be filltered someone also sed to ignore it , ok fine i do but im just saying the game would be a whole lot nicer witout these kinda people and well by posting this thread i feel i have proven that by the kind of nasty , make-fun i got nofing better to do then laugh at other people threads that have been posted here by "noob-callers"

who actually gives when you are called a noob? it's just some random word made up because some game censored other "insulting" words.
even if you do censor "noob" people will think of something new to say...ex: choob, froob, goob, moob, soob (whatever...)
That my man was uncalled for! i will have you know i have dislexia and luckerly for you i am not that sensitive about it , my type of dislexia strongerly effects spelling and nothing else that was totally un-called for ur lucky i ddnt report you for that , but that wouldnt make my side of the arguement look good would it now?
