No...? There you go, that is Mythic after Warhammer Online. They buy out the competition, they do nto give a flying squat about the original company they want it gone and its competence chained to their own chairs.
Good thing... You have so few clues a clue salesman would give you a clue for free out of pity.

I think the company was called bull frog studios. its was started by the guy who made the games such as fable.

    so now your the idiot

Peter Molyneux. Left Bullfrog and created Lionhead Studios, an independent company which was taken over by Microsoft. EA only published crappy Black and White from him, they didn't own the company.

And you thought Wilki was pointless. Where else can you find such useless information?

My main concern is EA has a nasty history dealing with mmorpg.

Say what you like about companies like SoE and ncsoft but at least they stick by their mmorpg to the end.

EA is totally different.Subs low on jumpgate?Just close it no point trying to revamp or improve the game.

Buys origin.Oh you nearly completed a sequel to UO and are all set to beta test UO2?Why bother we can still milk UO for another 50 years.Burn the project.

Hmm UO looking old now lets make UO2 ,oh no lets call it UOX so no one would laugh at us for closing the almost complete UO2.Ok lets be silent till its near beta then have a huge press conference and even invite loads of journalist even from the humble site of mmorpg.com.

Nice they thought it was ok but hey i am not 150% sure we will make a zillion $$$ from it lets close it .Oh dear people laughing on closing 2 UO sequels.Ah well.

Thing is anything goes with EA.You may say its unbelieve if they suddenly close WAR(i think they might have finally seen the light aka $$$ with WoW success and actually let this one go live).

But it was also unbelievable when they canned UO2 since it was all but ready to beta test in a month and had spent very little of their own money in the development. It was even more unbelievable that they would after canning UO2 decide it was a good idea to make another UO game and then much more unbelievable to can that too.I think thats mmorpg history its never been done before!

I really don't care about how EA does in other aspect of gaming but their mmorpg history is the worst to date and only other compnay who has so little faith in mmorpg but keep trying their hands on it is M$ and they are not even as bad.

Wrong unlike you I can Prove what I talk about... Where is Warhammer....

Warhammer is rooted in PnP, like AD&D. I think that was the fanbase Muris was refering to. And he is right, it's huge.

But lets face it, EA will distroy War, and probably DAoC eventually as well. Mythic will be eventually stomped on a like a bug. Don't belive me? Look at what happened to UO, UO2, UO X:Odyssey. Look what happened to a couple of the companies that EQ swallowed up. Companies that made GREAT games, and now either do not exsist, or are merley a shell. Origin. Westwood. To think otherwise is moronic.

Do you have some kind of Illusion that EA´s goal is to kill all of its games? only because of what happend many years ago? even tough the information that has been given to the public CLEARLY says nothing will change?
