You guys are all novices when it comes to online rpgs, its obvious warcraft is the first game you played in the MMO world when you think any game copied warcraft. Warcraft didnt break any new grounds when it was released, nothing they did was unique.

cabals interface is just the basic interface most people are used to, it is in alot of MMOs, only time you see different is when games are breaking new ground and trying somthing new, cabal is not one of those games, and nether is warcraft.

Cabal is no different from any korean grindfest out there today. People saying otherwise are lying to you, being one of the few who actually played closed beta to max level I am telling you there is nothing good enough to make you pay to play this game, though it is ultimatly your choice whether you spend money on this game or not.

if you think about it logicaly..is there anything about any mmo that is good enough to pay a monthly fee...........would you buy WOW if it was offline and had the same content...no you wouldnt because you would feel ripped off...when you play a mmo you are paying to meet other players...if it was'nt for the community in those games every mmo could be classed as a very weak game......................................if you look at the games core elements and push the online part aside you will see  that all mmo's are very poor games...and we pay monthly fee's for these not even half finished games.

I was in the Closed Beta, got a lung infection -- not from the game -- had to stop playing for a while, went to log back in and my IP was blocked...the company behind Cabal blocked all IP addresses that are not part of Europe; what was the point in inviting people all over the world to signup for the closed beta if they were going to do something stupid like this?!

Well, they lost a lot of players for the CB, OB (when it's time), and final game.

If you think about it logically , you have to ask yourself, if i invest in this game will it have a chance of getting better? Is it worth paying for it while i wait, some MMOs are good and deserve a fee, so you pay that fee for ingame support, lag free servers, community interaction.

IF you look at a p2p game and a f2p game you will notice the communties are very different, why, cause dicks usually are cheap and dont play p2p, instead they hack and cheat on the f2p games, theres no real support on an f2p game so everyone is used to it, the communties is usualy weak too, infested with people who cant stand, and no real way to keep these annoying people away from you. I dont know why warcraft was brought up but there is a different between warcraft and an offline rpg, MMos are fueled by the players, where rpgs are run by the npc.

Paying that little extra quality insures that you get better service, better quality, just because a game is online and an rpg doesnt mean you should pay for it. I stopped playing warcraft because they ignore this rule, with their laggy servers and qqueue lists, a company that makes so much money, yet giives verylittle back to its players, blizzard is no better then SoE, at least SoE could keep the servers lag free and the content comming.

Blizzard releases expansions on 5 month intervals, and their servers still lag and lock you out, and they still havent fixed that since release, so is WoW good, yeah, is it worth paying for, no.

As for MMOs being weak unfinished games, thats their purpose, they arent supposed to end, a good MMO can keep you playing for years, I have yet to find an offline game that i havent passed nad gotten bored of within a few days, weeks at most.
