And on second though, this isn't always a good thing. At least with existing personell you know what you get. If new management comes into town, you can suddenly find half of products cancelled immediately, other half sold out, or something as drastic as this.
Keep in mind, SOE is much more than just SWG, and wishing them bad affects plenty of EQ, EQ2 and Planetside players. A little consideration here is in order.

Well, if Smed is gone (I'm still waiting on friends to get back to me) it makes perfect sense. Would he take it? Probably not, he wants too much control. But if they gave him a free hand, he would consider it for sure. He's a "name" in gaming, and they bring more than tallent, they bring credibility... especially for a turn-around...
We'll see, but for now, firing Smed would be a darn good start...

That said, he's probably "Leaving to pursue other opprotunities...". The official reason people leave Corps is RARELY Firing, they usually give the Fire-ee an opprotunity to "leave" on their own. Firing doesn't look good for anyone, unless there was a Public Debacle involving the Law or Lawsuits.
