I think WoW should revamp all of their character models tbh.
Technology has moved on, and Blizzard have the money to do it. So why not?
well, if you want my opinion I think they should just let WoW ride for a bit.. maybe add a few things here and there.
I really think they should move 85% resources to a new project like Starcraft Online. Starcraft is a HUGE ip, so long as they keep pvp competition the focus and move outside pez dispenser connect the dots NPC's dishing out quests.

And the sad part is that Lineage II actually came out before WoW and it still has better character models, animations and overall graphics than WoW. Good work Blizzard!

It's not just about blizzard's resources. The average rig of a gamer these days is pushed to it's limits playing WoW. People who post on forums and make themselves heard are part of the slightly more hardcore gamer crowd. The majority is much more casual and pays much less attention to keeping their pc's up to date.
I read somewhere recently that the average PC gamer today has 512mb ram, a 1-1.5ghz cpu, and a ~$100 video card. Something like that.
Haven't seen a game yet that compares. I LOVE my blade dancers look. I can't think of the town off the top of my head. Gludio? Anyways, I would run around just looking at everyone.
lineage 2 with out a doupt, Final Fantasy XI in close second
Final Fantasy XI? Ok I might not of played it long, but I didn't find anything great about the armor, let alone character models for that game. I'd like to see some Final Fantasy XI post of cool sexy armor. I doubt there are any though.
P.S. those WOW armor sets look horrible. But just my opinion.
Two different things... unless you want to argue that you are "appreciating the three demensional artwork" when you have your hand in your cookie jar. Skimpy clothing in a video game isn't art, it's puberty fantasy.

OMG - A "Mom's Basement" insult! I haven't heard that one in a very long time. That has to be one of the most juvenile insults out there. My mom's basement has a wonderful view as it is a walk out overlooking a lake. To bad I haven't lived there in about 20 years. I find that most people that make comments like this one is because they actually do live in their mom's basement and feel guilty about it so the lay their guilt on others. So my question to you is....How's the view?
