Hopefully in the future, mmorpgs will be made to look excellent, but will use advanced technology to be able to bring top notch graphics but at a relatively low system requirement.  As it appears, your system may be a little bit low to fully enjoy EQ2, but I cannot say for sure.

Yeah, I did a feedback on that to.

I'm enjoying the game so far, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding groups. I'll probably make a new character on a more populated server so suggestions would be appreciated.

The only two servers I've played on are Antonia Bayle (since release), and recently Venekor (for a few weeks).

If you like PvP, gank style, where you have no chance whatsoever unless you're pretty even in level with your enemy, and get killed by characters 4 or more levels above you, you'll love Venekor.  It had a good newbie zone population . . . targets for the higher level hidden rogues.

If you like roleplaying and a great community of players, Antonia Bayle.  I'm not certain of it's newbie zone populations, but I would give it a try.

AB is a bit of a problem in newbie area.  Its pretty much hit or miss on FP side at least.  I'm currently still playing my Fury (lvl 27), and even as a healer.  I've had days where I wasn't asked to join a group even with my LFG flag, and doing OOC/20-29 channel LFG messages.  Then other days I was getting tells every other hour about a group.

AQ is proving to be near impossible to finish.  Found out they moved alot of the mobs I needed for AQ5 and AQ6 in Nektulos around.  So no one really knows where they are currently.  So i've been stuck on AQ5 for days now.  Not to mention no one hardly does AQ's anymore.  Worsen by the fact that only a few classes can solo them, and even then that's when you far out level the quest.   Yet even that only applies to the first 3 AQ's.  As 4, 5, and 6 you can just forget about solo-ing.

I also did a Feedback on that as well.  The viability of group oriented games after their populations decline/level off.  AQ's don't necessarily have to be full grouped, but if they bumped it down.  To something that say a Duo or Trio could do with little problems.  They'd probably find people would start doing them again.

Also did about 8 feedbacks on the economy alone (damn the limited space for writing feedback).

    Yeah, I don't like the limited feedback.  I use run-on sentences . . .

I understand the problems that group-oriented games can have, but I still am 100% in favor of them.  Things can be done to make the problems less of a concern, such as adding more content for small groups and soloers, as EQ2 has done.  So instead of getting the armor set you'd expect from completing the AQ with a group, maybe you would get an alternate set by completing a different AQ tailored for 2-3 players, or even one for solo.

Still, if grouping is going to be the focus of the game, the quests will urge full, or large groups, and so will offer the best rewards.  Therefore, players will always complain that there is no real solo content or content for small groups.  I'm getting ready to hear all the whining people are going to make about Vanguard on these forums due to the nature of the game and grouping.

I really want people to enjoy EQ2 because of it's many qualities, but I have to respectfully say that if you are not a fan of grouping, maybe it isn't the best choice to play.  At least it offers some alternative to grouping, as Vanguard will, but in a limited way.  Take this to the extreme with FFXI, a mmo I enjoyed but even I couldn't stand to wait for groups in order to complete the games content.  So this system can even be frustrating to the players who support it.

If you didn't get any word by now you were probably not 1 of the 200 selected to take part.

Yeah I probably worded my post a little wrong.  Definately don't want group content to disappear.  I've met some of my more interesting friends lately through grouping.

I was thinking about looking into having something crafted.  From what I hear from alot of people that by-pass doing AQ.  The crafted stuff for around that level is actually superior in quality to AQ set.  I just wasn't able to get on at all yesterday to ask around.

I also agree 100% that EQ2 has alot of good qualities about it.  Think other people are starting to notice as well.  Because back when I left around the time of the PvP/KoS event.  Most of the servers were light loads.  (Except of course the PvP servers which are just about always High)  Now though when I look at server list, most of the times during the day more then half of them are Medium and most of those mediums hit High during Peak hours my time (EST).

Yay!  I won a game keyboard for being a Master Tester for GameSandBox.  It was a blast testing Everquest II and sending my thoughts, ideas, and opinions about the game.  For a month, and for free, I not only had fun playing, but I hopefully lent some helpful advice and feedback about the game.  I hope SOE gets the feedback from all the testers and as a result, makes EQ2 even better than it already is.

For those who may have thought that this was a scam of some kind, I can say with confidence that it isn't.  Once I get my reward in the mail, I will confirm it further.  GSB is the real deal, and a great way to get the voices of ordinary players like you and I heard.  So keep an eye out for the next mmo GSB puts up for testing, apply, and hopefully you'll be accepted as a tester.  You'll have a blast!  I'm really looking forward to the next mmo for testing.
