Announcement for classic servers within 3 weeks.
If that was true that would make a official announcement anytime now.

I completely agree with you Kain...they need to reroll some servers to Pre CU status. I Still think that Pre CU Star Wars Galaxies was one of the best MMO's i have every played. I never had so much fun with a game untill SOE turned SWG into a cheap version of WoW with the first combat revamp.

No I find rumors and lies distastful. If the rumor was "smedly gets the axe" I wouldnt care, no one would but those are NEVER the rumors, the rumors that hurt people are "Classic servers will be back on this date" And guess what, they never are and never will be. As far as your idea that rumors dont hurt people, maybe you shoudl read the same disappointment I read from the OP.
But some poeple are thoughtless and only concerned with being popular here, and will propergate any absurd rumor to further their own idea of their own self importance. How can lying ever be a good thing, how is blatent dishonesty ever fun to you?
BTW I dont blame you kids, its your parents poor and maybe complete lack of proper child rearing that is at fault here.

Classic servers, sounds good, just bring some real-time combat with that, that would be nice, and maybe a balance of all those dozens of professions as well that would be nice as well. Thank you for your time.

Rumors are an effective weapon to battle SOE with. Look at the Bioware take over rumor, Smed had to go major outlets and explain that the rumors were flase. These rumors give SOE a black eye and call into question their current development. Sure some people are suckered by them, but that is a good learning experience for them, "Never trust anything until you see it for yourself." (Hell if people learned that in regard to world politics, then the world would be a better place as well)
Rumor, bad reviews, and cancellations are our only weapons against SOE.

Those words ring true. He will hear that over and over in his head once it happens.
He's like all the others who said "Not me" but look at what’s happening, Helios is picking apart each class one by one. It won't be to long till they change/nerf something he likes for the worse. SOE is an equal opportunist hate monger. I once thought they were doing changes for good reasons, later I learned different when they started picking a part the classes I liked to play and making them unbalanced and unplayable. Almost like they don't know what to do and this game is just a test subject for their next games. No one is untouchable, unless you are really just a robot.
