One thing though that I should tell you, 1 week I can play pretty hardcore, and the next week Im a very casual player. Mainly cause Im pending between two apartments and one there's only 1 PC we all share..and my brother usually do raids on that one.

However, the beauty of FFXI is that I can go out with my subjob to hunt and explore, to a point. It is frustrating being a WHM as my main, and getting many /tells asking if I want to group, because I always have to decline, or I would get too far ahead in level and disrupt the max exp earning of my static group.
My advice to anyone forming a static, is most importantly, get players who all are in the same timezone and committed to playing at the same times. When I signed up for this static, I mentioned that I am not going to be diving into FFXI headfirst and playing all that often, but I did make a committment to be available when the party meets, and that is important.
I do this for Dungeons and Dragons Online, once a week, and it works fine. We all meet up and enjoy the game, even if it's once a week, it is fun. I would expect that FFXI requires more than once a week for max enjoyment, and I log in almost every day, but getting the static grouped up together has been the hardest part so far.
The static group/LS is on daily. We are looking for some more players, as a group of six for the static is looking like it is nearly impossible to achieve (schedules and playtimes are just not coming together).
Even still, we have progressed well and are having fun. Contact Centurion, Whitetea, or Ferndale in-game, or check back here. I will let Wizardry (Centurion) know you may still be interested.
Hehe i believe we are doing excellent Plus it is also nice that we have good guidance cause it really speeds things up. Considering all things though we are doing very well and the game really has a lot of things to do. Although i have found a liking to fishing

The static group is doing very well. I am enjoying FFXI so much more than I ever did because of it. The people in the linkshell are terrific, and they pass along all their knowledge of the game, making it much easier this time around.
Yeah it happened with me also But still it is pretty fun and since i am a weeee bit lazy it is an easy way to make money. Hehe by the way FFXI in general has a very good community and very helpful. And i am one of those that i appreciate that a lot on MMO's.
PS BTW now i noticed that i first registered at 6/6/06 wow (although it is another game)
