This is the biggest sack of shit ive ever read. This better be a hoax, or misunderstood information, or the wrong person that was killed with the same name. I love that guy, watched the show all the time, and he was a damn good guy.

    Yeah i remember my Dad getting one through his foot when we were out diving when I was like 10 y/o

    We got the ray in the boat and he stood on its tail just as it made its barb stick up. It was about 4" long and went right through his thong and almost through his foot. He had to have it cut out coz as you can see it has reverse barbs on it so you cant just pull it out....

    He yelled stuff I havnt heard before or since

    That really sucks to hear he died.  He was a cool guy, and I guess the only good thing about this is that he died doing what he loved.

    Up in NY i remember catching Skeets (a relative of a stingray) on one of those fishing boats, and some guy stepped on its tail and it went all the way up into his leg .. it was really gross.

    On the news just now it said that the sting ray killed him instantly.  Wow

    Ohnoes! The animals finally found out Steve Irwin's weakness: Being stabbed in the chest.

    Apparently the last thing he said when he got stabbed was "Crikey!"

    I'm sure someone else will take his place though. I hope it's Jeff Corwin, he's actually pretty funny. Or that Bushmaster guy who never wears any shoes or socks.
