There are 1.5 million Palestinians imprisoned in the most heavily populated area in the world. Israel has stopped all trade. It has even forbidden fishermen to go far from the shore so they wade into the surf to try vainly to catch fish with hand-thrown nets.

Theres a little exceprt from it. Discuss.

    Israel assasinates democratically elected leaders or kidnaps them, capturing thousands of lebanese in the first lebanon war with israel. Return them first.

    I remeber a certain time when a certain group was being wiped out by a certain person that came to power in germany.

    Now that same group who obviously didnt learn their lessen in that autrocity is inflicting similar tactics on aother group.

    It's intersting how we so easily forget the past.

    2 soldiers for trading 1.5 million that are starving.  Hmmm...

    Let forget what groups we are talking about just read the line

    2 soldiers who' s duty is to put their life on the line to protect their nation is the reason that 1.5 million are being starved.

    2 = 1.5 million

    According to the article 262 Palestinians have been killed since June 25, which averages 3.4 per day.

    So... 1.5M - 262 / 3.4 = ~441,099 days or 129,735 years

    Hopefully this new starvation strategy will pick up the pace a bit.

    The soldiers werent kidnapped they were captured on lebanese soil. Propmtin Dan Halutz to call his broker and have him sell his portfolio, avoiding a market drop that the outbreak of war caused.

    Libertrians are a hijacking of the republican party. Just different than neo conservatism.

    There is no special rule that says you can have palestinians "go the way of" the american indian but to say the same about a certain special untouchable people is a crime.

    Well, I quess with the population electing Hamas (Hamas openly calls for the complete destruction of Israel).....It's kind of hard for Israel to now feel sympathetic towards a populace who elected those that would see Israel destroyed.

    No, Hamas wants Israel gone.  Period.  It's part of their charter.  The population elects those same people.  Israel now faces a nation (well, a mythical nation, at this point) that chose to be represented by those who would drive the Jews into the sea.  Perhaps they should have chosen better.

    Really?  And what nation have we sworn to completely destroy?  Have we sworn to completely wipe Iraq, Iran, Syria completely off the map?  Just for the sole fact that they exist?  Hell, it was the government of Afghanistan that protected Bin Laden.  Yet, once we toppled the taliban did we continue to push all off the afghanis into the sea?  No?  Instead, how much money have we poured into building up their own defense forces, utilities, schools, hospitals..etc?  Had it been Hamas toppling the Israeli government they'd still be driving the populace into the sea, as they've sworn.  Big difference.

    More likely, a radical Jew who would like to see a Palestinian version of the Holocaust. But the American Indian analogy is quite good to describe what is actually happening:
    There are no outright extermination camps, but when Israel wants some more land, they have no qualms about occuoying it. If the Palestinians lose their livelyhood as a result, that seems to bother nobody in Israel's government. Much like the way the American Indians were kicked off their land when the white man wanted it.
    Consider the West Bank barrier, which cuts deep into Palestinian country:

    The worst crime of israel continues to be and will always be their sadistic monopoly of american and european written, broadcast, and radio media. Their lobbying power in western countries (65% of all lobbyism in america is pro israel). And the bias displayed by covering up ALL ISRAELI SPY RINGS, the israeli attacking the U.S.S Liberty. And various other vicious deeds that violate international law (North Atlantic Treaty, Geneva Conventions). Cluster bombs and phospherous bombs, illegal.

    If i had to pick betwen Israel and Hamas (Palastinian gov't) ... I'll pick Israel any day of the week.

    I woudlnt, because israel spies on us and they have attacked the uss liberty. They are the prime suspects in the german train bombing (THe Mossad). And they assassinate and kidnap democratically elected members of government and call it "Targeted Killing".
