did you guys really think they pulled their heads out there asses? They like doing things that make more people press cancel. As for the trial it was a bad idea to lock people on a station away from the few people left in the game. They will never learn the golden, what works in one game does not always work in another.

Yeah, TH didn't actually give any more news than the webpage itself. People on the boards are asking left right and center to elaborate, with no response from TH.
Wouldn't it make more sense at this point to do something more useful with your time like fix the game and make it fun again? Since this is SOE we are dealing with they have no interest in doing something good for the people ALREADY PAYING to play. Let's focus on getting more suckers to pay for unfinished crap.

They need a new trial that is more like the full game. The current trial only crashes at one or two parts, but the full game crashes much more often. There also aren't enough bugs in the trial.

Seriousely though, I don't think there's any hope for SWG. I think the best that old school SWG vets can hope for is a new Star Wars MMO designed, produced, and run by a company that doesn't have anything to do with SOE.
Even if SOE developed a new Star Wars MMO, it won't change the fact that they have THE WORST customer service of any online gaming company. Their customer service is the epidemy of bad service with a total disregard for cunsumer contentment and hapiness.
Guess they think the station isn't going to grab you, so they'll have it end at the end of the Legacy Quest.

Still closing down the trial to make a new one makes no logical sense, but then again is SoE. You would think they would still have the trial and just update it when they finish with the new trial. They might get one or two unlucky souls to join SWG, instead of none with no trial. SoE may be stupid but can the really be that dumb

Ineed, details please. And just a suggestion, speaking from a customers stand point here mind you, it might be a good idea in the future to make a little announcement concerning such things, to dispell any rumors and theories that such a thing may cause. If one thing I have notices, Players will always discover anything that you do. Nothing wrong with anticipated suprises, but out and out Secrecy doesnt work so dont even try. Just a sugestion, take it for what its worth.

No doubt, THE reason I quit. Our guild mall went poof and the GM refused to help. He went so far as to say the items didn't exist anymore, even though I could still see them on vendors elsewhere. Without that one event and $OE's response, I would have probably played until CU...maybe even awhile after.
