This may be the case... our backups would be bus benches & main roads with signs near there, especially a main roadway they probably take to work...
I took Mira Mesa Blvd. (a major road) to get there, and didn't see any billboards on that road between SOE and the 15 Freeway. Though if I had to guess, I'd imagine most of their people would take the 805 to get to work. I can scope out that route later. Also I didn't look for bus benches and such, so I'll keep my eyes peeled on my next trip.

Okay, well I guess I am alone in this matter. About 4 years ago when I started DAoC, we didn't have many acronyms and people used proper English or at least tried. I remember the first time I heard FTW and I wandered what the game world was coming to. It sounds utterly retarded and I can't pinpoint it, but it sounds grammatically incorrect the way it is used. I support this cause, but I've been on a language cause for far longer and I hold it higher than the Classic server cause. I want people to use the education we all paid for with our taxes and to use proper grammar and spelling to the best of our ability. I never condoned 1337 speak or the formation of acronyms for something so easy to type out.
Like I said, I guess I am alone in this matter. I know when to walk away. If this is what the community wants then so be it. Among educated gamers; 1337 speak and acronyms for things such as FTW are just looked upon poorly. Maybe it's just us older MMO gamers that have been around before the wide spread use of these terms. Either way, I don't like it and I try to fight it when I can. But I guess that cause is dying with the sandbox games out there.

It'll allow you to setup a set price as a goal and people kick in contributions. The money isn't actually taken though until the goal is met.

FWIW (For what it's worth) , I understand where you are coming from, being a dinosaur myself. If it helps you any, think of it as:

I finally found my way to SOE Austin. The only billboard I saw was a little north of the offices and was already rented. I couldn't find anything to rent out anywhere nearby.. Not even a bench . I'll check back from time to time.
Update:We've secured out Domain Names and are building the sites as I write this. We should be up within the week, and read to roll with "activities" within 3 weeks...
