So because your point was proven wrong and redundancies were found you assume we misread and should go back over it again? I assure you this is not the case, I read posts carefully so that my logic does not have the same loopholes that your posts seem to contain on a consistant basis. Also, not only is the consumption of alcohol historical, it is also biblical and has been used in many rituals and celebrations since ancient times.
Many rituals and celebrations which has nothing to do with the Bible or Jesus, go back to your book and you'll know.
Second thing, i'll explain what i have said thoroughly and shortly.
My Logical answer to reavo's question.
1- no one can be immortal, so the question by itself has no answer.
now answering the question with a non-logical answer
1- if you were immortal and were cut to pieces, your soul has nothing to do with it, because immortality means not being affected physically by flesh.
2- your soul will be subjected to anything a mortal sould would be subjected to.
now if you can't understand this, then i feel sorry for you, and i will ask you to not drink while reading, because it's bad for you.
So then in your opinion the meaning of life is determined not through the body but through the soul, and the death of the body in the case of an immortal soul would mean nothing more than the soul moving to another stage of life? Nice theory, needs some work.

So your soul is subject to all the punishment of a physical body, yet your soul (if immortal) could prevent all physical harm? Doesn't that make your body your soul? If that's true, I must disagree with you and this argument can go no further, as human brains are incapable of logic at such a high level of abstract thought. If it's not true, then your argument is circular. "The [immortal] soul would prevent physical harm. A soul is subject to equal harm as a physical body." Face it, you look stupid. Fess up that you're BSing and everyone will forget about it in a week.

I never said your soul is your body, your soul is you, and it is phyiscal, but it is not something you can see or touch in this form or life.
it is a physical form beyond that on earth, it is a physical form only touchable by the angels, it is something you cannot control.
when you sleep, you lose your soul, and when you wake up, you get it again, that's why people in commas sometimes never wake up, and sometimes people breath but not in a comma, and never wake up, it is something uncomprehendable beyond these points.
seconde thing, i never said your soul is immortal, i said your body is immortal, if you lose your body then you aren't immortal to begin with.

You soul never dies, it is something living forever, BUT it is not immortal, because immortality is not comprehendable, as well as the soul too, these things are beyond us, we only know very little about them.
sometimes you see people in a comma, or sleep but not in a comma, and never wake up, while their body still functions, their soul was ripped off their bodies while their bodies were fine.
if the body stops, the soul remains for a small period of time, then is ripped off, as in taken away.
that is why there's hell and heaven :}
your body however will reincarnate, and your soul will inhabit it once more, to be judged, and then either in hell or heaven, of course this is a very long process and a different story.

Neither of us can prove it, so neither of us can claim correctness as you have been doing.

Oh and btw, I can feel my soul, so it is not something we cannot feel, if you don't then that's you, but me i do feel it, so that theory doesn't apply on me :}

That's what I'm looking for! This whole time you go on a crusade proclaiming these outrageous claims, and now you say they are speculation. This is why we have a problem here. You need to clearly state your opinion (and state that it is only an opinion) immediately, as to avoid confusion. Your previous posts made you sound like you were sure of this theory and that your sprituality gave you this insight into exactly how it worked. You need to clearly, without any doubt, tell people the difference between your opinions and your statements! I cannot stress that enough without becoming more obnoxious than this argument has already become.

I'm sorry, and i will try to be as much detailed as possible.
I hate putting so much detail into stuff, it's boring for the reader, i like it when people THINK of what i say, sometimes i throw in puzzles that don't make any sence, sometimes i mix nonsence with sence but i sound like i'm serious or something.

Not necessarily details, just clarity. I don't have a problem with what you say, as long as you explicitly state that it's an opinion instead of proclaiming it. That makes people think you are believing it as fact. Once you start to push around "facts", that's when arguments get going.
Emotional feeling can prove existance, but not on a tangible, physical level.

So basically, you're full of shit, and try to cover it up by using cryptic phrasing, riddles, and generaly anything which will confuse rather than enlighten your reader as to what the hell you're talking about. Well, you've been very well trained in pushing your religious agenda, that's for sure. The Jehova's Witnesses that show up at my door use the exact same primitive tactic to try to disorientate me and push the conversation in the direction they want it to go. Thankfully, I'm a pretty rational and analytical human being, so I really have no trouble seeing your ravings for what they truly are, utter bullshit.

That depends on your definition of immortality. Immortality does not neccessarily mean invulnerable, it may simply be that you do not age and will not die of natural causes (disease, old age, etc), but you could still be killed by someone/something.
Define soul. If you cut the head off someone, then doesn't that render everything else useless (and the brain after a few seconds). The brain is your consciousness, and the word "soul" has too many meanings by too many people.
It mite be benifical to study the early beliefs of the humans who worshipped the one god. Named post flood believers of The Way. Followers such before the Mosaic period were still strictly speaking followers of the same god and shared the same beliefs as the Judaeo-Christians. One thing they held in common was the belief the soul was the body and the spirit combined. Remove either the body or the spirit and the soul ceased to exist except in the memory of there creator. Some did believe they could be raised from the dead due to the Adamic promise.
With all this said the idea that the soul dwelled on beyond the body was intergrated into the beliefs of Christians with the increasing intergration of the pagan beliefs into church to instigate conversions. With the eventual inclusion of the idea of heavenly rebirth of the whole of humanity during the Tribunals of the eary 1000ad period. This was disputed though. For many the idea that a totality of humanity would be reborn spurned the Adamic promises. In anycase all is fair in biblical theology.

Assume there is a set of all sets...
Those kinds of assumptions really make anything possible.

A soul is what The God have created in order to make the body have conciousness.
And it is created from nothing.
