This post is completely ignorant. Sharky obviously has his " ego " stuck in his usb slot. I suspect a certain someone goes to bars and brags to the laddies " ya know what I got? ...I got a Nivid 8800 gts in my cpu at home ! ...wanna go see it ?..I paid $500 for it ! "
I'm a grown man with 3 kids and can go drop $5 k on a cpu right now if I choose too. ( not credit...CASH ) ...without blinking. Now...why am I able to do this? because I don't go wasting my money of cutting edge gear 50% of the software programs out there aren't ready for anyways. That's one reason..expand that philosophy to all aspects of life. I prefer to put my money in ....say...my house for example. My house is an APPRECIATING asset...not a DEPRECIATING one. So you go ahead and waste your money on your cutting edge gear that won't be worth crap in a year. I can sell my house a year from now for a $50k profit ...hmm...I wonder how good of a cpu I can buy with $50k ?

I just wanted to say that Blizzard DOES SELL the trial also. It's a known fact. VG will have is free trials probably soon... You make alot of assumptions about peoples financial situations for someone who doesn't care about people's financial situations.As I am unsure what kind of problems you ran into with said games I will not outrigth call you a liar on that part, but.
BUT...you will anyways. ( but means " disregard everything before the 'but' and everything after the 'but' is what I REALLY mean.
But raving lunatic megaincredible fan or not, you know the above statement is untrue for almost everyone, if not in fact, everyone.
It is true...check the early threads at the launch for those games.
Promote the game sure, but doing it with things that absolutely everyone, lover or hater know is not correct is not the way.
The only game that comes even close is Anarchy Online, and even AO finds it hard to top this one.
Again, I can not speak for your experiences but I find it impossible for anyone who have played VG for more then a couple of hours or read a single line of text regarding the game to be under the delusion that this is comparable to anything released to date.
BUT ..there is that BUT again....you can't speak for my experiences BUT...you are going to again..anyways.

Don't let that "can't afford it" comment from Sharky get to you, he has a point.Regardless of any inability/unwillingness to purchase top of the line cutting edge cards, Brad pawned Vanguard off towards 'enthusiasts' just like Sharky who'd buy into the latest hardware for Vanguard.
I mean come on, the way Brad talks, this game isn't going to be stable until 64-bit operating systems, DX10 cards and multi-core processors are the norm.
So why preach about what you'd rather and rather not buy, and at the same time attempt to defend Vanguard somehow? Anyone can agree with not wanting to spend mass amounts of money just for a game, but if you have a problem with it in particular, then your beef is with Sigil, not the player who followed their suggestions.
So in buying into that mess from Brad about performance issues being hardware related and better hardware should help, you don't think Sharky or anyone else has the right to complain when performance issues are still crappy?
You'd rather blame the architecture of the 8800 card, or it's overall newness despite how long it's been out now? Gee, you'd think if you made a game that's supposedly been built for non-existent futuristic hardware, when that hardware does come out, you'd kind of make sure the game works on that if your excuse is that it can't work correctly on what's present.

I responded sharply because a statement made with such a high level of ignorance ( there is no possible way he can have ANY idea of my financial situation ) just begs for a sharp response.
Yo thamoris calm down. Your taking things to damn serious for a game.you have to admit he does have a point . Wow has problems with ati cards, is this a Harware issue, no. Bliz made a deal with nvidia and supports thier cards more, Infact wow had problems with the 6800 when it came out and blizzard had to fix the prob on thier part.
Also as said before, brad did say that this game will support next gen hardware, yet people have to tweak ini files to boost preformance on current and last gen cards.
Take it easy, seeing the dedication you give to this game, while having a family and a good job is not a good mix. You have to be lacking in one area especially how you defend this game and have your own guild. I stopped playing mmos for the moment to enjoy my newborn and prob might not got back unless a mmo comes out thats more casual than wow. A few hours a week is all i can afford for gaming. You might wanna spend more time with your kids than your guild mates.

These are my specs, this is an extremely stable machine Zero problems playing WOW, GUildwars all releases, EQ11, Supreme commander with 6 AI, and a few others not worth mentioning. I will re-install my machine and give a detail report on how it plays with Animation and other glitches if there is any. I still believe it is some of the hardware people are running not in all cases but in some. some people will Tweek out there PC so much that it cause problems. I have alwasy stuck with stable PC's rather than tweeks. I have Lan Parites 1 a month and it alway the guy that has a ASUS board over clock 12X's, dual Video cards in SLI mode and other OS tweaks. In my experience we are always waiting for the Tweak guy . just my opinion
If someone sends me a buddy Key I will write a technical review as this is what i do for a living LOL. I test software for MS, symantec and so on.

Have you ever thought about it, why are your kids interested in your game, Attention, yep doesnt take a damn brain to figure that one out, they will force themselves to enjoy it because thats the only way you give them attention and affection. bet they wished their dad spent time with them on the things they would love to do. I guess your spouse enjoys watching you play the game, or does she, prob if she gets into the game is only to get attention with you, or she prob goes to her firends house and spends time there.

Any man can make a child, or your saying mister player who has 5 children with 5 different women has more experience then someone who plans em out? Yes i know your gonna say no, the point , the amount of children is not a factor its how they are being raised.
So what about a man who works 60+ hours whats the point, your saying there is no way in hell they cannot spend time with their family. Yes they can spend time and even have a slither of time to game or do their hobbies, just casually.
40 hour a week man who spends time in their garage, you make it sound like if they spend the rest of the day in their to justify your blind addition, they can teach their kids about their hobbies while still go out and spend time with their families.
golf, that is one good sport to spend some quality time with the family, theres no need to leave em locked inside when you can take em out and spend some time.

and finally stop making things up, now everyone knows you make your kids play your game so you can spend more time at it. how can you learn math from a game that does all the math for you. the reading i can belive but there are more interesing things out there to read about.
Have you ever thought about it, why are your kids interested in your game, Attention, yep doesnt take a damn brain to figure that one out, they will force themselves to enjoy it because thats the only way you give them attention and affection. bet they wished their dad spent time with them on the things they would love to do. I guess your spouse enjoys watching you play the game, or does she, prob if she gets into the game is only to get attention with you, or she prob goes to her firends house and spends time there.

your damn addicted to the game you flame anyone who posts negatively about it. While i intentionally posted flame against you was to get your rabid attention.
I can understand enjoying a game and having fun with it, but i dont understand is how you waist time to defend it and get offended by everyone who doesnt like your game. come on this is the internet, we dont know eachother and cannot see eachother. the whole purpose of my other post was to prove your taking it in to damn deep. its for my amusement to see how you get all pepped up so you can justify somthing.

Defend your damn game which according to you sucks less than the rest just ,dont go overboard because your just ruining your game. We do know how you wanna help get more subscribers into the game you love because you dont wanna see it go downhill. This is why you post about the updates and patches.
You think people who come to these threads to inform themselves about this game and reads one of your threads and then see how you go haywire when naysayers and haters bomb your thread, your helping the haters. they will listen more to the naysayers because who the hell wants to be in a game with people who freak out and hate everyone who dislikes their game.
