Problem with WoW is that it has some cool quests and all then once you hit 70 all there is in the game is grinding rep ( takes forever) for a bunch of faction, raiding ( if you want to dedicate your life to the game), and PvP (which just sucks no matter what). The world is small, you have a bunch of kids playing ( or adults who act like it), and it gets to a point that it really loses interst.
i dont get it lol why does everyone put wow down it is probably one of best MMO's ever after all 8 million people play it, many people put it down due to its price which i dont think is fir as i know it is over reasonable but it is worth paying 9 pound for unlimited play a month so stop putting down wow it rockkkksss

I have played it and I am just stating my humble opinon on the game. I do not like all the immature goobers, the world is small, I hate PvP, raids suck as it is hard to get 25 people together not mention 4-5 hours a night is too much, and to get reputation with factions take way too long.
Like any mmo, it all depends on who you play with. My guild is all adult ( so is our corp chat , if you grind all alone, it tedious.
Find a good group to play with and you will find the game quite enjoyable, especially in Outland. The game is so juiced up now. You now get huge amounts of xp, gold and uber gear with each quest. It's the way the game should have been all along. If you havent' made it to level 58 yet, do it. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah its pretty simple getting levels, pretty fast, but if it was really slow would that not become a complaint as well? Everyone hates WOW because blizzard only think on $, how many content patches in last 2 years? now they trow a bone to subscribers. TBC witch is for hardcore players after they hit lvl 70. WOW is losing alot of subscribers and will lose even more after LOTRO, AOC AND WAR come out. people not happy just read WOW forums.

Personally, I quit the game simply because the expansion offered new eyecandy, but no true "new" content.
The horrific shift on instance timers, and 40man to 10/25man runs was absolutely uncalled for.
Previously with 40man raids, you had the luxury of putting 5-10 people in the raid group that weren't the absolute best of the best in their class. 40man allowed for a bit more fun for everyone.
TBC was supposedly designed more for the casual gamer... which will rarely, if ever, see the likes of SSC.
With the 25man format, and the way the encounters are designed... you have to have the best of the best in your group.
There is absolutely no room for second best, latent, or hardware challenged folks. Granted, as time goes by they nerf things like Nitebane, and Gruul. (fights are a joke for a hardcore guild now).
I don't hate wow, I've just grown bored of it, and the community that makes up wow.

Personally the class diversity isnt big enough for me... i prefer the kind of game where theres so many classes that every 6th person u run into doenst looks exactly like you... + lack of well thought out pvp action

The game they play or played lost a great number of people when wow started. Maybe it got canceled or lacks players now. Might be they just think WoW is hurting the genre in some way. Maybe they are jealous because the game they see as superior to WoW is not that succesful.
