Knights of the Old Republic definately! Fantasy MMO's have been done to death and we really need something to replace the disaster that was SWG. If anyone could pull off a good Star Wars MMO it would be Bioware. Bren
Enough said because brenelael said it all, KOTOR all the way. We dont need anymore elf/orc fantasy MMo's, we need more sci-fi MMO's.
If bioware does go ahead with SW then it will most definately give you choices.
Everything they have said before, regarding what they want to do with their mmo, they have said repeatedly its going to be choices all the way, They have had their writing team which is double the size of any other they have had and working well well before they normally would working on it because the game has so many choices in it. It would most definately point towards a sw mmo in that regard.
Depending what you do you could side dark or light or more importantly republic or sith or even mandalor? Exciting, very exciting!
It looks like this is right, i got the latest issue of PCGAMER the other day and in the spy section it said that BioWare were getting to do a KOTOR MMO.
Well part of that we know to be false. Bioware are making an mmo from the ground up. They have for instance just aquired the hero engine, they have their writers burning the midnight, morning and lunch oils to get their story nailed down. They said they have just completed most of the development document and have some great ideas what they their mmo to be. Its certainly not a rework of existing code in that regard, not unless they are basically taking bits out of it and putting into the bioware mmo they build.
I still dont really expect it to be a Star Wars mmo but i really gope it is.
I hope Mass Effect, i can't wait for it on the Xbox 360 .
I think that's probably the least likely since it's not even out yet and they have no way to gauge the success of it. KOTOR is proven, Forgotten Realms is proven.

thats like saying Everquest wouldnt be successful, or Eve Online, or City of Heroes, or Asherons Call. good thing they didnt jump to this conclusion before creating their mmo

so i went to wikipedia. and look up Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and i found in the Sequels area of the page
SOE has been confirmed to have lost the Star Wars license,[citation needed] though there has been no confirmation that BioWare will be producing a KotOR MMORPG.
see SOE did lose the star wars rights and they will should down galaxies at the end of next year or at the end of this year and if you dONT TRUST ME.GO TO THIS LINK and see yourself
I Voted Mass Effect Because If It Is Done Right It Will Be A Fantastic Game But I Hope They Stick To The Same Combat System As Either KOTOR Or Jade Empire.
That would be really neat if they did make a Star Wars KOTOR MMO. Bioware has produced some of my favorite single player games. I'm curious to see how they do making an MMO.
It probably wont be out for long time still. Look how long it's taking them to make the single player Dragon Age game. It's been in production for years.
I'm curious about Sony losing the license though. I wonder if that means they are canceling the game or just that they can't make another Star Wars game. My guess is that they just can't make another Star Wars game.

If they went with KOTOR and kept the ability to go light or dark depending on your choices I would wet myself.

IMO, this is one of the best RPG that was ever made. Well, it is definitely in the top 5 for my list. I'll be so happy if they made it into an MMORPG.
