    Honestly I had a hard time choosing between Mass Effect and KOTOR. KOTOR was such a wonderful game, and appealed to nearly everyone I talked to star wars geek or not.

    I know what they said, but I know that it can change.  Originally Mythic Entertainment said there was no deal with EA, there would not be a deal with EA and the rumors of a buyout are false.   Then it was what 2-3 months later they proudly annouced that Mythic was merging with EA?

    Besides the title of the thread was "what you want" sooooo.... what I want is KOTOR3.

    I think this is generating a lot of hype.  Especially for those SWG fans who want another SWG.  You have to think that Bioware wont want to work with either Lucas Arts or Wizards of the Coast.  Both companies seem to push their ideas on developers and also seem to force out unfinished products.  They may well go with their own IP so they don't have to worry about rushing the product whatever it will be.

    I was just about to cancel my last subscription and commit MMO seppuku when hope was restored by the possibility of a KOTORO.

    (plus I had spaghetti for dinner and didn't want to get my keyboard sticky)

    Id have to say KOTOR just because im sick of fantesy games. I want a MMO ware i can shoot and not have to say "magic" anymore.

    My first MMO was SWG and i really enjoyed the game. A few things i personaly would have changed about it, but it was good. Unfortunately the game was completely destroyed . I would really like to see KOTOR be made into a MMO as i am a huge fan of star wars. I'm really bored of WoW and am currently waiting for AoC to come out, but if AoC doesn't deliver i don't know what i'd play!?

    Well KOTOR got so well received because, for one, it wasn't a sucky Star Wars game.  There have been a LOT of SW games but so many of them have been rather.... bleh.  Probably why I was disappointed with KOTOR2, seemed like the "SW game curse" took hold again. 

    KOTOR Online I suppose could work, but I'm not sure if Lucas would want two competing SW online games out.  Ya know that other game that SOE crapped out a while back?

    I love the KOTOR series but as an MMO, I look at SWG and see what a game flooded with jedi looks like. Oh I know, its proper in the era of KOTOR....still, doesn't seem appealing to me.



    I voted for Mass Effect. A more origional sci-fi setting which I think would be a great MMO.

    I really want a KOTOR MMO but I'm slowly getting the sense that it will be Baldur's Gate (or maybe another D&D game.)



    That popular EGM article that claimed Bioware was working on a KOTOR MMO also stated the DS title they were working on would be Baldur's Gate, and that Dragon Age was coming to PS3 - both of those rumours were wrong...

    Kotor is not going to be any more different from the actual SWG, so no point in it.

    dont worry. Jedis wouldnt be problem, at Kotor timeline.

    because lots of people will choose Mandolorians , Sith and Republic soldiers (for example me)
