People, for those of you who haven't heard or seen this game, I implore you check it out. Perfect World will be a FREE MMORPG, with content that should be paid for. The game includes:
Character Customization
" The game allows players to customize character features from head to toe. Every detail of the human body: hair style and color, facial features such as distance of the eyes, shape of the brows, body shape, skin color, torso size, width of limbs, etc., can be customized using a unique slider system that offers full control to the user. Using this customization system makes each character unique."
Personalized Clothing
"With this feature, one can truly express him/herself through his/her in-game character. Players have more options when it comes to what their character wears. They can even design their own in-game clothes."
Territorial Battles
"The game divides the whole terrain into smaller domains and has a built-in territorial battle system where clans and factions can build, arm and fortify a city or multiple establishments at the same time. Fortify the captured city with catapults and armaments to effectively guard your location against opposing attackers who are keen on expanding their territory. Each character and class in Perfect World has the special ability and peripherals to fly, trek, and swim in different terrains. Inherent attributes, special equipments, summons or even mountable animals make it possible for characters to not only fly, trek, and swim but also to duel and clash on any of the terrain. Perfect World created a world with flying monsters and floating cities and ruins, all waiting to be explored."
Riding Pet System
"Pets are not just companions in Perfect World. Players can train their pets, mount them and use them as a means of transportation."
Partner Ride Systems
"Mounts can accommodate up to two players at the same time, enabling you assist a fallen comrade and bring him to safety during a battle, or take a nice stroll in the woods or fields with your in-game loved one."
Massive Quest/Mission System
"The game itself has more than 5,000 quests waiting to be discovered and completed. Quests can be race- and class-specific. Instance quests are available for players who would like to make their own adventures."
Huge Continuous Terrain
"The entire game world is within one large map that requires no loading or no changing of maps so players can move around without waiting for scenes to change."
Day, Night and Weather Shifting
"The game shifts from night to day and sunny to rainy season on a regular cycle, changing the view of each area to suit the time. This “real world” effect will immerse the players more effectively in the game."
16:9 Widescreen Mode
"Allows players to play in widescreen mode to simulate a movie-type experience."
Flight and Underwater Movement
"You have to reach Level 30 to experience the fun of flying unless you've chosen Wingkind as your race. Wingkind characters can fly by default.
When you reach Lv 30, you will be able to take the Flying quest which will reward you with the flying device appropriate to your race. You can also buy an appropriate flying item in the Item Mall. (However, 30 is still the minimum level required to equip Flying devices)
There are many kinds of flying devices, all with different properties. Take time to choose one that best suits our needs."

Carrying A Player
If you are male, you may use the “Snuggle” Action to carry a female character, if she accepts the offer. While carrying another player, you cannot attack or use skills, but can activate and deactivate mounts and use “Intimate” Actions.
I'm not sure what to say, except maybe ewwww?

Although I am usually one of the ones decrying the influx of crappy asian mmos into the mix, I have been playing the Chinese version with the 100% translation patch. There is only one thing I can say:

I think they are blocking everyone who is outside of the area, to prevent traffic expenses... Anyone have some mirrors for the client?

The Chinese/Malaysian is not.

I agree with Zorvan WAHHHHH WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TOOOO!!! The game is definitely the best Asian Mmorpg to come out imo.

This is PHILLIPINES only and they are blocking everyone else.
When you go to the site, you'll see a little box toward your upper left with two square symbols in it and a pull down tabby next to it. Click on the pull down and select the other choice (four squares I believe). That will switch the site to English.
Well anything Asian that makes Zorvan react like that is worth a look...Heheh, I remember that Life cereal commercial.
I always check the games out. Just usually it never takes much more than a quick scan of player movies/screenshots to recognize yet another asian clone.
However, this game floored me. Ya just gotta try it for yourself.
I'm using Zorvan as my ingame name, so give a shout if ya get ingame.
One problem I always have with games that are translated into English is that the translation is often fragmented and difficult to understand. Many games lose a lot of points in my book for being hard to understand.
This game does look promising, and I will more than likely try it out. Hope the translation isn't horrid.

For everyone who is having the cant connect while updating . if you installed the game to standard spot it will be
c:(what ever you named it) just change the name of the folder to "PerfectWorld" it will update and if your account is good to go then jump in and play
Translation is fine, outside of it doesn't translate player's chat. The quest and stuff when talking to NPC's can seem wierd sometimes, but easy to understand. This is just a temporary patch until the English servers are rolled out, so I would imagine it'll be better then. Here's a screen:

Only problem is there aren't many people here that can play the phillipines version, due to the IP lock. Which is why I redirected them to the Chinese/Malaysian version.

I got the game downloaded/installed/patched.
Sadly, the final step, registering an account, is a problem.
On the Cubizone site, I get to the last page, and when i accept the EULA and click register I get:
"An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator."
Anyone else have this problem? I have not found any reference to it on any FAQ.

Lol, cubizone copied the World of Warcraft's EULA. They forgot to delete "World of Warcraft" in at least one place.

Right now, looks like the Cubizone servers are getting heavy traffic. Give it some time and then try again. I didn't have any problems, but alot of people are finding out about this game now. You can check the forums that I linked with the download info to see what the progress is.
