Ok waste your money on old Medieval weaponry that costs at least 200 big ones apiece... but comon ppl what is the point... unless you are rich and using the 15th century warhammer to decorate your place and impress the Queen cuz she is stopping by for tea... (and i apoligize to the millions of ppl on these forums really enjoy roleplaying)
Is there really a point to buying expensive weaponry that you will never use to their purpose??
Unless you are a rich arse prep boy... (sry Vattkn I assume that you are higher on the social class than me if you would actually spend the money on weapons while i struggle for the rent)

and Colcleugh, on the wall behind me in my room is 10 assorted blades which will be added onto soon, i have them because i enjoy them. I go to miedeval faires every year and live it up carrying weapons getting compliments on them or costumes or amror (armor this year hopefuly). Why not have old weapons and such? it is a enjoyable hobby, not to mention sparring with my friends since a poriton of us are trained in martial arts and others are just good with assorted swords/polearms and ect

Well although your friends complimenting you on how nice your Bastard sword is... IM NOT RICH and i dont waste my money on expensive decor...
So go ahead if you like that stuff w/e but you obviously can afford them while i have to struggle to keep my head above water with rent food and such...
I dont have some rich daddy behind by back when i fall so...
In conclusion thats very nice that you and your friends sometimes play with your weapons and are skilled with them but what are the chances that when you get mugged you will have your trusty sword with you my friend lol

I have a katana, and a scimitar. The scimi cost me $115, and the katana was kinda cheep, only $45. I really like scimitars so I bought a good one, and the katana looked cool so I bought that 2. I'm not rich, I just apreciate a good weapon.
BTW, $160 on 2 well made swords is not a bad deal. Like you said the really good ones sell for upwards of $500 a piece. Thats why you become a wise shoper .
I really the stave/staff. That would be my Favorite, followed by 1 handed axe followed by 1 handed mace.

I'm going to a weapon auction in a cupple of days... They;ve got really, really nice weapons there... everything except the Broad/Bas.... swords and very (can't think of a word here) designed weapons start at 80-120 and some little daggers start at 60 or 50 CDN!

hey Cuc first off im better with my bare fists than any blade so im welcome for someone to try and mug me not that they would, second i earn my damn swords, i work my ass off to be able to get them and i even have one of those $400 dollar ones which took me a hell of a long time to work for, not to mention 1 of my blades is a family heirloom my grandfathers naval officers sabre.
Oh and if you want to say i have a rich dad? try a firefighter who has to do way to much overtime and not be home

Warrior/Pally-I would have to push for anything that is 2h or a 1h with a shield, for me most 2(1h) duel wielding chars look corny and annoying, (rouges are exception.)
Rouges-Duel wield daggers, or axes, or 1h sword dueled with either of the 2.
Casters-Staffs or Poles mostly, I don't like the thought of my casters wielding daggers and shields. However I thin that anylike like spiked knuckles or katars would be really sweet for your casters.
Hunters-I really like the thoughts of bows, crossbows mainly. Guns, however old they seem, just seem alien to me in this world, thought I know their not.
I love Katars and for swords: scimtars, bastards or cavaliers are nice too.

Yeah its hard to see dwarves as anything but rifelmen or Mountain Kings but I think that I could stand to see them with big hammers or axes, the swords may look strange though.

I just never really liked him as a unit because he was rather weak and his bear was of more use than him, specially cuz it could teleport around like some crazy... ummm.... teleporting bear. Not much else to describe it as. Even Blizz comments down there that 'teleporting bears are funny.'
Ya I accidently put the wrong thing on the website, but I liked Rexxar alot. I thought it was cool for him to summon his boar too. So you could have him, his bear, and his boar all fighting at the same time. What more could you ask for.
personally? I liked the dark ranger more. She could charm other units, silence enemy casters or heroes, drain the life of her enemies to increase her own, and every enemy that died while she was attacking it turned into her Dark Minion creatures that would eventually swarm their enemy with nothing else but numbers. Her abilities were CRAZY powerful, but I think the only problem with her was at low levels Dark Arrows took up all her mana.
Hard hero to master, but once done, amazingly powerful. Just bring along some potions with you.

It is a two handed chinese saber made by cold steel.
Made out of 1050 carbon steel with a full tang and can cut like mad.
And it has a S shape to it just like "Lord of The Rings" Elven swords.
