Definately a PvP focus guild - they actually tend to be more drama free then most - and are better at pve then the pver lol.  But they are definitely not a family - everyone has their role if you can't preform you're done lol.

I think I shall create my own guild to worship me as a God and crush the Acolytes. Although if offered the position of Avery's court Jester I might consider it!

The merc system can make things very interesting, hope it will be functioning at the release of the game.

I like the idea of a lot of big guilds and fewer small guilds. Makes the power struggles more clear to see on a server. And a lot of work for small guilds in alliances and such.

  • ZertyrZertyr Member UncommonPosts: 263

Wonder how many big guilds (100+) members there will be on the average populated servers.

Ill join a guild that I enjoy, it might be big, it might be small, it might be pve or pvp, all I want is a guild i can enjoy.

The merc guild seems more and more interesting, having a guild focusing on beeing mercs.

It seems like a lot of ppl are going to try the merc guild thing out, actually gotten quite a few questions about my own merc guild and that is very fun I have to say. But I really hope they get this merc thing to work. Get the solo and small guilds into the high end pvp action.

Voted: casual guild that wants to have fun(and blends PVE with PvP and voluntary RP). Must have a good guild name too for that matters. But Im not looking for a guild now, there will be enough people looking for

    guild-members inside the game.

I really believe PvP in this game will be awesome, omg the battlefields will be red of blood.

I'll be joining a Merc guild myself, but not one that works like this. A job is a job. If you weren't content with the payment plan set up to begin with, then you should never have accepted the job. In my experience guilds that do "side-flipping" tend to end up with noone wanting to hire them, ever again.

Think you should read the OPs info a bit more careful before posting, as it states they will do the job they are hired for. The thing you is quoting as something about friendship guilds and did not have anything to do with the guild beeing hired for merc duty. Read first, post later.

We would never brake a contract we would have with a guild, if you read a bit more careful you will see that as a comic discussion I made about the guild drama that could arise.

Only have 10 options and did not think the poll through that much I have to admit, just more a quick poll that I got curious about.

Yhea, would be nice with more poll options, so we can get a better overview of the class polls that are around. :)

(An elite) mercenary guild. I'm not one to brag through words very much (moreso actions), but when a player or guild is looking to spend a pretty penny for a dude who can "get the job done" on the battle field, I'm usually first pick.

people notice pretty fast who can play better than others and so on, so there will always be some people / guilds who will be known to battle better than others. Also tho, I wish to point out another part I think is important in the matter, how you act while helping out and how you act overall in the game. Bad reps puts a lot of ppl off from taking help. So think the ultimate is if you are a player who goes 110% into the work and treat others well. Those are the ones who going to get jobs constanly
