Hey guys, just wondering what everyones MMORPG selections are for the next holidays wether it be Christmas holidays or wateva. What are you waiting to get playing? I'll be going back to AC1 Darktide style

Everquest 2 is the carebear newbie mmorpg.
Playing: Vanguard SoH
Played: EQ, Planetside, SWG, WoW, EQ2
Nah its not a "what game will you be getting? - post" just wondering who's playing what next holidays we all know we want WoW or EQ2, Guild Wars or Dark and Light whatever... really wondering what your making do with until they're released

Everquest II is november release. Christmas holiday is after.

The only thing I have ever debated on these forums has either been Everquest 2 or PvP, or both of them at the same time. I would hardly call that everything.
Get a responsible day job instead of trolling people on a forum who are expressing their opinion within the context and rules of the forum.
I'm into the PvP aspect of MMORPGs so I'll probably play WoW and DnL
Definitely WoW seeing how I already pre-ordered the CE.
I am starting CoH soon...
But considering I eat pre-Kunark EQ content faster then most of my friends, I assume I will be done with the game unless I decide that every class is a very cool try, wont I? The fact my RL friends are spread on 2 servers may make me play more as well, they dont know each other groups very well and their link was missing at server selection.
I have Sacred and Chaos League(Not MMORPGs) to try as well as soon as new computer is done(take toooo long). Once I am done with that, maybe FF XI, my old computer was unable to run the game but able to waste my free trial. *bump* Some of my friends keep insisting that I will like FF XI, but their main argument is over the grind, I dont mind the grind, I sure wont play a game for the grind alone!
I learn to never say never, but any upcoming MMORPG in the near future been raid or PvP enforcing, I see little point to even try them and I am fending my RL friends off the topic for now! If anyone reading here see an incoming new MMORPG that aint raid or PvP enforcing, scream WOLF now please!

Well i got back into DAOC the beginning of August and I am enjoying it a lot this time through, I expect to be playing that for a while, then maybe DnL and/or WoW.

Notice Aprilly has a female avatar. Means your of the estrogen type. Which means you actually like the idea of a newb role playing game.
Like omg I have to fight another player? Omg no. Violence is bad. This is why there is violence in the world. Oh wait 98% of violent criminals have never played a computer game in their lives. So like omg. Nevermind. Omg. Why do we have combat at all? Why cant we just cast beauty spells and like omg lights and dancing. And why cant there just be AI bunnies instead of AI monsters. Omg they are so ugly and I dont want to hit the computer AI with my magic wand I want to tame a AI bunny as my pet so I can give it huggies and kissies!
Like omg. Lets just make one of the graphically better rpg's into PvE only. Lets make it like a girls mmorpg where the characetr models look like they are throwin sissy punch's all over. And all characetr models will have size 20 feet. That is the norm nowadays. Not. And like omg lets like totally picket that PvP is evil! Yes because we are girls! Us girls must do what us girls have to do. PvP players like PvE too but PvE players must be PMS'in about possibly having some sort of optional consentual PvP. Big deal like omg I am PMS'in so what.

I am really looking forward to Everquest II. I think it will be great, but I doubt it will be released before Christmas. I may try World of Warcraft if that's out before the holidays.
Otherwise, I will stick with Dark Age of Camelot which I am getting back into now and play some City of Heroes.
I beta tested Saga of Ryzom in it's early stage and I hated it. It didn't work for me at all. I am interested to see how the game has developed. Maybe it improved? So I think I will try the open beta coming up.
I am looking forward to seeing what Dark and Light is all about, and I may try Guild Wars, but I think it'll be another type of game like CoH, it will be fun but I doubt it'll have what it takes to keep me hooked for years like UO, EQ, and DAoC did.
The Matrix Online looks like it'll be cool. I may try that too.
I'll be busy until the holidays, but once Everquest II comes out, I'm betting it'll be the one I stick with for a long time . . . my guess is that it won't be out until next year, though

I have a day job, thanks for the suggestion though. And considering I posted that at night, it would be hard for me to be working my day job. Infact, I will be leaving for work right after this post, I just need to flame you real fast.
You express yourself as a "newb" when you say that Everquest II is a "newb roleplaying game." Look at the end of the genre, MMORPG. Let us spell it out: Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. What do you suggest you do in these games?
Sure they have evolved, but if anything, you can call the pure PvP games in which no one role plays the "newb" games. Because, in fact, the are the "newb" of the genre. It use to be all about adventure and role playing, then it was involved. There is nothing wrong with the classics.
What game do you like? Lineage II? That is like ritual suicide. Definitely not a game.
mMmmMMm, probably WoW and EQ II. But I haven't seen either as a shiny finished product so for all I know it could be matrix online and ac2! Hehe, but I do plan to start out trying those 2. I also plan to keep my DAoC Account so that as well.
