What does that mean man?
TELL ME
Doesn't mean anything, other than someone at Amazon made a number for a non-existant game on the off-chance it would actually turn out to be true.

I am sorry but are you sure that a website with that reputation uses such a cheap gambling without any real information ? (We are talking about Amazon.com)
AND please remember that Amazon did exactly the same thing before SWG NGE release, and it turned out true.

Gamestop does the same thing with release dates.
Instead of trying to find "KOTOR MMO" on the internet using the bible code, I suggest being patient enough to await an official announcement with information about the game from bioware. (Finding out it actually exists is a bit boring compared to actual information don't you think?)
they announced the MMO 2006 march it is not about patient anymore. it just turned to a cheap selling strategy.
Yeah....and if they announced it now or had announced it sooner, fans and trolls would be ripping out their throats and besieging BioWare to do the game THEIR way. Heck, they're already doing it (in a small amount) without even an announcement.
Personally, i think it's rather smart to keep it to themselves until they think they have enough information and material to go public. And who knows, there may still be legal concerns, too. *shrug* Don't always go assuming.
You know, after Vanguard, AoC, WAR etc, it makes an amazing refreshing change for an MMO company NOT to hype their potential game for 4 years, and just keep quiet until its ready to be released. Means they wont have a million people demanding to know why the Pink Ridable Rancor they promised didnt make it to launch! Plus, less chance of everyone being disappointed and quitting.
They know SW is the biggest MMO license out there, they dont need to hype it or explain it, they just need to sit in their office, and make it RIGHT.

QFT.
As long as they follow the Soon® development plan and make one of the 10 top games of the last 5 years.
it is about the point of view imo. i dont think if the game announced and has an official website and forums, means hype down for the community, contrarily it would rescuit more and more people to the game and also it does not mean if people tells their demands their dissapointment would be huge.
Nobody left a game or wouldnt buy - especially a Star Wars online game- for their demands that would not become true , AND this was not the thing happened to SWG, they changed all the games formation with NGE, it was not just a change, they replaced the game TO get fed from a different customer community. they thought that if they change their customers from 25-40 ages to 15-20 ages they could make more money it was risky and exploded at their hands.
I am truly hoping for this to turn out to be infact a KOTOR mmo. I know that what everyones dug up sp far looks pretty convincing. To be honest though I was fooled in the past and wont hold my breathe waiting untill it's officaily announced.
I did find this while trying to find new info on the mmo for myself,
Also I noticed that the MMO bioware has listed on thier own site at bioware.com is listed as seperate project from the bioware / Lucas Arts project. I am not posting this in an attempt to nay say a KOTOR mmo, I am just hoping to get KOTOR 3 as a single player RPG and a KOTOR mmo to boot

This is very very old news
just read the first page for all information about possible Bioware Star Wars MMO
Yes, because LA has no other viable IPS than Star Wars. Your logic is fallible, at best.
Huh??
From this statement
Strive to help make a competitive MMO.
I concluded that
LA is working on a MMO
Why is that fallible logic?
I believe his point was LA does indeed have many more viable IPs than just Star Wars which would make for competitive mmos. Just because Star Wars is their favourite to "whore out", as it were, does not mean it is the only IP they could work with.
Aren't the folks working on this game the folks that developed Star Wars Galaxies? I know the studio is Bioware but it looks like the founders and developers worked at Sony?

Plus,

That domain expires on July-2009. Does that means SWTOR.COM might be transfered to Lucasarts or Bioware? I hope they make an official site then.
I can't wait for HKO!
Ummm can this thread be moved out of the rumor room yet?
Isn't it fun to post evidence to counter the few non-believers, who still want to wait for an official announcement? Hehe...
Here another proof that LA is working on a MMO:
They will announce it when everybody is speaking about it, this "rumor campaign" is successful and I bet will save some money they have to spend on advertisement :P
Sera
Darjani SWGE Galaxy
Well seems so far the only official stuff we know is the name of the game.

They didn't announce a STAR WARS MMO in March of 2006...
That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!
Yeah. And this is the problem already.
