ok. the performance has improved but its just as ugly.

they say they improved toon animation,its just as bad as it ever was and toons are still pretty ugly 
the trial island looks poorly made. but iv been in the game and it looks a ton better. not a very good example of how nice vg landscape is.
meh...its a shame...game itself is not bad....its just so ugly..

You find vg ugly, I find ff and especialy wow ugly.

But I do find it funny that people love wow graphics and art so much.

imo wow is too bulky and big. but its still better than VG...imo

WOW world does not seem as detailed as VG to me. Parts of VG if you travel and look around are simply amazing. Do you have a good system that can run at higher settings?

reason i dont like toons.
1) gear looks ugly
2)toon animation is very bad
3)toons look like lifeless dolls.
4)impact and sound of wepons feals wrong

Looks good to me, the armour is very newbie stuff nothing special, that is the point.
If you get all the armour from all the quests on IoD it looks pretty good.
As for WoWs graphics, WoW is a great game but its graphics are pretty terrible and outdated even at launch, people play it cos its a good game not cos the graphics are top notch.
Now playing: VG (after a long break from MMORPGS)
Played for more than a month: Darkfall online, Vanguard SOH, Everquest, Horizons, WoW, SWG, Everquest II, Eve

I can post some tonight, at the moment I am at work.
I have a 12th level toon from IoD with most of the gear, I think one or two pieces have been replaced with better stuff but breast place, cloak, weapon are all from IoD.
I can also post my vulmane up with his 50th level gear, most from APW.

The heads look better than ever, and yes, the performance has increased drastically over the last patches.
But I can't help feeling it's all too late. If it was like this at the start (Not launch day, but 2-3 months after), it would have been a major hit.

Personally I think the game looks great. Some animations definitely need improvement, running, jumping, capes etc. However some are really great like the monk/disciple fighting, rogue idle moves, etc.
