Finally after watching and hearing about this game for the last 3 years I might actually get to take a look at it and determine if it'll be worth playing over EQ2. I love the Warcraft universe and have been looking forward to this game for such a long time. I just wish it would have come out sooner cause I would have left EQLive for it hands down. But anyways....they should add a hit counter to the WoW website and watch it go up over the next week or so...hehe

It is ridiculous claiming that video games influence children. For instance, if Pac-Man affected kids born in the 80's, we should by now have a bunch of teenagers who run around darkened rooms and eat pills while listening to monotonous music!

Im so excited about the news I've been waiting to hear for like a month now!! But I wonder what they mean by soon. Im hoping signups start this week, then OB by the end of next week. But it'll OB prolly wont start till the end of OCT or 1st of NOV.

We are happy to announce that we will soon be accepting applicants for the World of Warcraft® Open Beta Test for North America.
Does that mean that people that live in EU still can sign up on this? Or is it just US people?
Would hate blizzard for that if they would make EU people watch when US can play open beta. If anyone knows something about this i would appreciate if you could tell us all about it.

When did you become the authority on how people can react to things?
newb question here so plz don't flame me if the quesion is obvious but does blizzard let EVERYONE in on open beta or is it more of a selection process like the closed beta was? thanks for any help you guys can offer me
