To be honest i dont care why anyone gets worked up over this....... Darkfall is Vapor ware any ways.. its fallowing the exact same path as Duke nukem forever... and you cant say it isnt cause were is any tangible evidence saying other wise?????

A staff of 30-40 developers working fulltime on game isnt vaporware. Seeable and readable improvements make it a game under development. If im right with the name vaporware is that its a game that was announced early and is still in development, so on that i agree with you. Correct me is i was wrong concerning vaporware description.=)
As far as I am concerned I would like to see facts about this game not coming out in the future, because there are facts about it moving along in development and even game play videos (not just the environment). I guess it is easy for people to be pessimistic... no... wait... I'm not! Have any of you even tried developing a game or even made a working program and not some cookie cutter application that made it for you? All you people who are so negative are just trolls in the forums, bashing games because you have no real life to look forward to. When you can present facts then will talk, till then shut up!

Just about 100% of the repliers want his head on a silver plate. So what he achieved with that article isnt what he intended. Its more publicity to Darkfall and alot of hate towards Funcom and Age of Conan. Talk about epic failure.=)
I'm not a huge fan of Tasos, but nor am I of Funcom. I am, however, a huge fan of the truth.
All that matters in any of this, are the actual games. We will soon see the fate of AoC. And maybe someday, we'll even see the fate of Darkfall.
But arguing about which is better, when in truth neither actually "exists" yet (from the player point of view), is an absolutely pointless waste of time.
But then again, so is American Idol, but millions still watch that every week so...
My final word on the subject, from a Darkfall perspective is this,
If (Darkfall = great), then Tasos is God and all is forgiven.
If (Darkfall = vaporware), then Tasos will never work in the industry again, and he will spend the remainder of his days being rick-rolled by the Darkfall community (or possibly being actually rolled, if they ever find him.)

I thought it was funny that someone actually used the term "Rick-Rolled" in a sentence.
Of course...if he IS lying, Adventurine doesn't really exist anyway. Corporations, such as they are, only really ever exist on paper and in relevancy anyway. The "building" that these "fans" have gone to in order to see the game could easily have been some apartment...or even a warehouse that was rented for the weekend. It takes very little to doctor them up to have desks.
For him to be THAT evil...why....he's probably eating babies for sustenance and smoking purified demon blood through a nuns hollowed out, dismembered, finger.
The truth of the matter is that Adventurine does not really exist and is not developing any game whatsoever.
Aventurine on the other hand does exist and is creating a game that should hopefully move the stagnant mmorpg scene beyond the current cookie-cutter rut.
Please people, remember that "Aventurine" is a mineral and not a play on the word "Adventure"

This editorial is bullshit. Period.
It's dying anyway. The combination of Darkfall, Warhammer and WotLK should put it out of its long suffering misery.
Yup, looks like darkfall will be the winner in this case. AoC has failed as only such an unfinished piece of shit can do. Beats me how they could take so long and spend so much to produce something thats is basicaly just GFX, even if they are nice ones.
