This game has to be in the top 5 most boring, least intelligent and biggest let down I have ever played. And I've played nearly everything. This game makes WoW look difficult. Asian Hack N Slash games are even more challenging. But, the game being 3 year old friendly isn't why I dislike it. EVERYTHING is bugged in one way or another. The game is probably a year from being tuned to finish. There are still items in the game for classes that have long since been removed from the game. Um no shit stuff is bugged it's only been a month.
Quests make you choose a reward even if there is only 1 reward. Boss mobs sometimes run off only to come back fully healed. Targetting system is unreliable. blah blah blah...I could go on and on mentioning every aspect of the game. Scenerios, bugged... Guild system, bugged.... Alliance system, bugged... Your mastery tree gives bonus to abilities 3 levels before you can even get the ability to take advantage of the bonus. WHAT?!?!? K so your annoyed by the additional click once in awhile and that bosses will sometimes go back to their spawn if your too far away.

WAR has better RvR then DAoC and is so much more fun in PvE then WoW. You probaly just played to 13 and stopped because a few bugs now and then annoy you. If you have this low of a tolerance to bugs in a game then dont even play WAR and go play it 3 years from now and until then plz be silent

Well, I only saw the bosses running back when somebody pulled them from their spawnpoint too far. The abilities' tooltips are showing the actual level's bonuses, but these bonuses are changing with every level.
I have to agree with the community (the chat is awful) and the targetting system.
I tire of seeing threads like this. Everyone's opinion is different. Personally, I'm having fun in the game. Sure it has its fair share of bugs, but what game doesn't? The only thing I don't like is how I feel like the order classes are underpowered compared to the destruction classes (Yes, I know, I play destruction. Sue me =P)
Once Knight of the Blazing Sun comes out, I'll probably play one of those. I like tank classes, and sadly, Order is lacking. It's either be a midget, or a guy who looks like a girl. Destruction seems to have all its bases covered.
I never played DAoC, and am kicking myself. I've been hearing how good a game it is. I've played a lot of other mmo's, though. UO, AO, SWG before the update, WoW (of course), EQ2, Vanguard, EVE, list goes on and I'm sure you guys aren't looking for a full resume on me.

When do you people realise that big companies just do it for the money and thus try to produce the next casual phenomenon aka WoW2. The future is in indie development. Not saying that indie devs don't like money, just that they don't have a marketing department telling them what's hip and what's not.
I would not call WAR a total failure, but surely the target audience is more "special" than we hoped, namely the Planetside-type PVP gamers. The RVR is fast gaming with little depth, and its that kind of player which which stay. Too many for calling it a failure, but enough so its a niche game, not that "big world scenario" many of us are waiting for.

Have to agree mostly with the OP except the bug thing isn't killing the game or me. The game is killing the game for me and lack of community. I am a very patient game and will stick around for 6 months to see a game improve but even after 1 week I have gone back to AoC and Team Fortress 2 for some fun. Desperate times...

One problem with your logic there sherlock, half of these unhappy "customers" are unhappy for personal opinion based issues. Telling someone not to play a game because THEY didn't like it is as stupid as a vegitarian standing out in front of a burger king and telling people that eating meat is wrong. Warhammer delivers a great PvP experience where you actually gain experience! You can battle for 5 mins in a PvP instance or unlimited in a PvP area.
There are so many new types of classes and dynamics that make everything fresh and cool again. Great game.If you want a PvP game this is the best out there right now. It's basically DAoC2 with a bunch of changes. The graphics look nothing like WoW's idk why people keep saying it but I know it's bcause they dont even have the game installed on their PC. Anyway if you like PvP and competition then WAR is for you.

The only people saying that are WoW players waiting for their expansion afraid this game will steal people away and the others are mmo burn outs.

I bought a giant PC to run AoC when it came out so it sure as hell should be able to run Warhammer... but no... it's loaded with lag and spikes and God knows what.

I honestly couldn't agree more. Hell... most mmo's kept me atleast subscribing for a month to see what it had to offer. This game however, never got out of free-month mode before I quit. I got to lvl 40 and experienced enough. The game is for people that like things simplistic and I need things complex to keep my attention.
