WoW is not based on asian game styles. It is original on its own. If you were familiar with the background of where WoW originated, you would know this yourself. Warcraft, I would suggest picking up a copy from your local game store. Install it and launch it to see the history unfold. I am certain that it would give you a better understanding about the game in general.
Heck, I am not even sure as I re-read this thread if that is what you were trying to imply, that WoW looked asian. Please correct me if I am wrong, but it does NOT.

yeah I'm playing all of them got like 11 currently installed on my PC. I should update my avatar but Im too lazy )))) well most of the accounts I share with other people in my college we kind of split money so its not very expenive and its actually free for me couse my friend paying for two of us. ))) The last game I bought was DOOM III because it came with nvidia vidio card but it was worse buying they got that lighting system I love it! I think nvidia made my video card specificly for this game. ))) Im not really a tech guru but I can see it.

I have friends that played beta and they say most all people their are 12 or 13 year old kids. Its not blizzards fault, its just the people that played the previous games tend to be younger. And they will want to play WoW because they loved the previous games. Also that guy that reviewed the game in beta on this site said the same thing about how they are all young.

Wow is nothing like DAoC. I really do not understand your comparison there. Do you find EQ and SWG the same as well? I know when I played both of those games they were entirely different.
Also, the argument that WoW is full of kiddies is so old now. Do you just troll the bnet forums? You should try checking out the main beta site to see the diversity in the community. I will assure you can find an older crowd there, in the majority. Check out the top Fansites as well. Myself, I am a 26 year old *female* gamer. I know, we are few, but we are there , just as in every game. Before you start spouting how WoW is a kiddie game, please do some research on the topic.

Look at the people in WC3 in bnet and how immature they are, does GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO ring a bell? I know it will not be the same but its those type of people from WC3 coming to the game. Well we all have our different opinions. Also I know that DAOC and WoW wont be the same, it will be hugely different, im just saying the character detail is both low on each game, not that they are the same. I will agree with you that people that post moronic childish things are annoying, but I also believe that half of them will not make it to retail due to the fact their parents will not be willing to pay for a game for them to play monthly online.

I fail to see the comparison. DAoC I will agree lacks in detail greatly, WoW on the otherhand.. Does not.
The new engine for DAoC looks very nice though. Comes close to the more recent MMORPG's imo
